It is about dyeing pretreated wool fibres with pentanol in laboratory conditions. Acid dyes are the most important class of commercial dyes and account for more than half of the dyes in industry. 100% wool fibre was used in this investigation. In the practical part, the wool fibre was treated in pentanol at a temperature of 20 ?C for 30 minutes. After pretreatment, samples were dried and relaxed at room temperature for 24 hours. Then, the treated fibres dyed with acid dye - Supramin blau. The dye concentrations were 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 mg?dm-3. The time of dyeing process were 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 minutes. This work gives good results when the wool, especially since the dyeing takes place at a used temperature, 98 ?C. A constant increase in the degree of dye exhaustion was observed during the increase in the initial dye concentration i.e. 100 mg?dm-3. A longer dyeing time for pretreated wool results in a higher degree of dye exhaustion. Az elmúlt 22 évben több hullámban határozta meg az iskolák életét a minőségbiztosítás, így érdemes megvizsgálni, hogy a megváltozott ISO-szabályok milyen mértékben és hogyan támogathatják az iskolai minőségbiztosítást. Tanulmányunkban felvázoljuk, hogy az iparból átvett szabványok nem adaptálhatóak az oktatási környezetre, mivel nem képesek megfelelően leírni a szakmai szempontokat (párbeszéd, tanulási folyamatok professzionális irányítása). Noha a szabványok iskolai bevezetésének következményei nem egyszerűen kiszámíthatók, az oktatáspolitika mégis a minőségirányítás hatékonyságában hisz. Az új ISO 2015-ös szabvány változásai nyomán az iskolai minőségbiztosításnak főképpen az iskolafejlesztésre, mintsem a minőségirányítási szabályozás formalitásaira kellene koncentrálnia. In addition, the effect of PVP concentration (1-4%) was investigated to prepare membranes with better membrane antifouling performance and characteristics. Furthermore, functional groups, morphological structures, and membrane porosity were analysed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and membrane porosity calculation. The surface SEM images revealed that the size of the modified membrane pores increased. The increase of the PVP concentration added, resulted in the number of modified membrane pores. FTIR spectra confirmed that PVP functional groups were dispersed in the PVDF membrane matrix. Optimum pure water permeability (PWP) of 60 L/(m2?h?bar) was achieved using 3% PVP, resulting in a humic acid rejection percentage of 80% and a water flux recovery ratio (FRR) of 85%. In this study, torrefaction of Albizia zygia wood-calcium hydrogen phosphate (CaHPO4) catalyst blends was carried out in a tubular furnace to examine the impacts of temperature, time, and particle size on higher heating value (HHV) and energy yield (EY). Albizia zygia wood was obtained at an industrial sawmill junkyard nearby Kwara State University, dried, crushed, and sieved into 1 - 3 mm particle size. Optimal Combined Design (OCD) was employed for the design, modelling, and optimization of HHV and EY under the ranges of selected temperature (200 - 300?C), residence time (15 - 30 min), and particle size (1 - 3 mm) in an inert environment tubular furnace. The results of the analysis indicated that the temperature of 245?C, time of 22 min, and size of the particle 3 mm yielded a maximum HHV of 19.59 MJ/Kg and EY of 76.37% respectively. Also, the addition of catalyst (CaHPO4) at 10% reduced the ash content but enhanced the fixed carbon content of the biochar. The mathematical models for the HHV and EY for the torrefaction using the OCD imply an excellent fit with R2 of 0.92 and 0.96, respectively. This study aims to analyse the performance of a diesel engine using biodiesel as fuel and compare it with pure diesel oil. In the present study, biodiesel was produced from waste vegetable oil. The transesterification was performed with methyl alcohol in the presence of catalyst potassium hydroxide. Blends B10 and B20 were made by mixing pure diesel and biodiesel fuel. Various parameters such as brake specific fuel consumption, brake thermal efficiency, mass flow rate, and brake power were calculated. At 5 kg load, the brake thermal efficiency for B10 was higher compared to pure diesel and B20 by 13.72% and 10.02 %, respectively, while the fuel consumption time was 2.35 % and 3.56 % more than pure diesel for B10 and B20, respectively. At no-load conditions, the fuel consumption rate for B10 was maximum, 5.17 % and 12.38 % more than that of B20 and pure diesel, respectively. Mathematical methods (analytical solution of differential filtration equations involved the computer program Maple) - for creation the groundwater level changes model, methods of ecological and economic assessment and comparative analysis - for the identification of groundwater level impact important factors and groundwater level impact on the environment, balance method - for assessing the groundwater level changes. The mathematical model in 2D formulation works from any value of the initial groundwater level. The value of groundwater level changing at constant evapotranspiration has been obtained, which has been visualized by calculations for limited areas of the Kharkiv territory. Three-dimensional modelling of groundwater level changing in contrast to two-dimensional allows to take into account the dependence of evapotranspiration on the presence of artificial coverings on the soil surface, which are located unevenly and have different filtration coefficients, which causes corresponding groundwater level changes of urban areas. The nature of groundwater level changes under the influence of external factors has been determined. The necessity to create three-dimensional mathematical models to describe groundwater level changes and improve forecasts of their changes have been identified. A three-dimensional mathematical model of urban groundwater level changes, such as atmospheric water infiltration, additional groundwater replenishment, transpiration, evaporation, evapotranspiration, and groundwater abstraction has been developed. Besides, fouling of equipment by crude oil undergoes different mechanisms at different stages of preheating. Hence, understanding the fouling mechanisms is essential in formulating appropriate fouling mitigation strategies. In this respect, the use of the concept of threshold fouling conditions is one of the approaches for mitigating fouling through operating conditions. Indeed, during this study, a monitoring of the temporal fouling resistance evolution of the E102 exchanger battery of the Algerian refinery was carried out. However, this resistance was calculated based on the classical method proposed by Kern. Given that the monitoring of pressure drops is a widely used method in refineries so as to detect of fouling in the tubes of heat exchangers, it decided to study its evolution over time. Nonetheless, this study has effectively revealed that the heat exchanger battery had a clogging problem since the pressure drops increased over time. In addition, a considerable discrepancy was noted between the values read on the manometers and those calculated from a theoretical expression.
