From preliminary advices and treatments, such as understanding if symptoms related to fever or cold, to critical detection of cancerous cell or classification of X-rays, traditional machine learning and deep learning techniques achieved remarkable feats. However, total dependency on machine-based prediction is yet a far fetched concept. In this paper, we provide a framework utilizing several Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms to construct a comparative analysis. We create an ensemble of top-performing algorithms to accomplish classification task on medical reports. We compare both the traditional machine learning and deep learning techniques and evaluate their probabilities of being reliable on analyzing medical diagnosis. We concluded that an ensemble approach can provide reliable outcomes with accuracy over 92% and that the current state of the art is unequipped to provide the result with the standard needed for health sectors but an ensemble of these techniques can be a pathway for future research direction.","PeriodicalId":6871,"journal":{"name":"2020 11th IEEE Annual Information Technology, Electronics and Mobile Communication Conference (IEMCON)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0159-0166"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78548659","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The DA is designed in the TSMC 180 nm CMOS RF process. For the gain improvement, the proposed DA employs a matrix architecture to take advantage of the additive and multiplicative gain mechanisms simultaneously. In addition, tapered transmission line technique is used to mitigate power consumption. Also, the terminating resistor of the input transmission line is replaced with an optimized RL-network to ameliorate the noise curve of the DA. In the first stage, the DA used a tunable cascode amplifier as the gain cells to extend the bandwidth. Based on simulation results, the proposed DA with a 3-dB bandwidth of 19.5 GHz demonstrates a flat power gain (S21) of $12+1 text{dB}$. Throughout the frequency range, S11 and S22 of the DA are below than −10 dB. The noise figure (NF) varies between 5 ∼ 6.75 dB and the average third-order input intercept point (IIP3) in the operating band is −3.75 dBm. The proposed DA consumes a DC power of 25 mW from a 1-V supply.","PeriodicalId":6871,"journal":{"name":"2020 11th IEEE Annual Information Technology, Electronics and Mobile Communication Conference (IEMCON)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0815-0820"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78933175","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we proposed a feasible solution of building a low-cost portable IT laboratory with Windows-to-Go installed on a USB 3.1 flash drive. To verify the feasibility and usability of this portable IT laboratory, we setup two systems on a single test computer for performance comparison — Windows-to-Go installed on a USB 3.1 flash drive and Windows 10 installed on an internal SSD. Focusing on the needs of IT discipline, we manually compared the performance of installing, executing normal IT software and other common IT tasks on both systems. We also compared their performance benchmarks by PassMark. The experiment results show that this low-cost portable IT laboratory can be used as a candidate solution for students doing labs at home.","PeriodicalId":6871,"journal":{"name":"2020 11th IEEE Annual Information Technology, Electronics and Mobile Communication Conference (IEMCON)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0791-0796"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74284494","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most of the data is unstructured when obtained through the web. Many organizations, institutes, and governments worldwide gather public views regarding their products, services, or policies. With thousands of reviews about some product, service, or policy, it is impossible to conclude some kind of final thought from it. To handle this, there is a desperate need for a model that can extract meaningful information from data to make correct and timely decisions for the efficient growth of business and smooth running of an organization or government. Otherwise, the practice of collecting and storing data will be ineffective. In this study, we focused on conducting an extensive public survey on issues of Southern Punjab, carry out appropriate processing on collected data and predict trends in public opinion for decision-making. Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) have dealt with this problem. Different data preprocessing techniques have been utilized to remove the noise from data. Our experiments stated that unemployment, poverty, education, and corruption are the major issues of the targeted region. This study will help government officials and non-governmental organizations to be focused on the extracted issues in the specific region.","PeriodicalId":6871,"journal":{"name":"2020 11th IEEE Annual Information Technology, Electronics and Mobile Communication Conference (IEMCON)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0511-0516"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75762712","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An effective and efficient response to customer complaints is an essential index of organization's performance. The presented model for the CEMP has the ability to minimize customers' dissatisfaction and on the other hand it can encourage customers to participate in controlling the provided quality of the services. The customer may feel dissatisfied with the service if he or she receives a delayed response. Customers do not know where to fill the complaint, Current complaint handling in the organization still have these problems. Therefore, CEMP was proposed and implemented to solve the customer faults. CEMP was consisted both a mobile application and a web application linking the customer to technician in the field through a management portal. Proposed system has the functionalities of fault/technician tracking, maintain user profile, nearest technician acknowledgement and customer feedback which are beneficial to both customer and the company.","PeriodicalId":6871,"journal":{"name":"2020 11th IEEE Annual Information Technology, Electronics and Mobile Communication Conference (IEMCON)","volume":"126 1","pages":"0677-0680"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76902682","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For recharges to be carried out in the best possible way, the number of load devices (Base Stations) should not be excessively high so as not to burden the network. On the other hand, it is also necessary that when the drones want to recharge, there must always be a source of energy available. For this, we propose internal estimators that provide intelligence to the drones to try to predict the next charger attendance rate. The drones will not have communication with each other to recharge coordination but will continue to communicate concerning other routine activities (note that this communication is not considered in the scope of this model), that is, for recharging the batteries' coordination, there will be no energy expenditure on communication. The verification of the suitability of the proposal is done through Agent-Based Simulation and the use of three different policies for decision making. This will enable an approach that aims to optimize the operation of the system through a Nash equilibrium.","PeriodicalId":6871,"journal":{"name":"2020 11th IEEE Annual Information Technology, Electronics and Mobile Communication Conference (IEMCON)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0094-0100"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88794703","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are also becoming more adaptable to terrain and changes in the environment. For example, a quadcopter that can fold could be used by Search and Rescue teams who need to navigate tight and inaccessible spaces. This paper presents a notable insight into two variants of morphing drones that have been assembled with keeping different morphing modes and mechanisms in mind. The first proposed quadcopter uses servo motors on each propellor arm to achieve a folding motion mid-flight, while the second proposed quadcopter uses a novel method of utilizing micro linear actuators to reduce its size in all directions. Flight data for the proposed quadcopters will be presented, along with comparing total weight, flight time, size reduction, and other parameters with similar morphing quadcopters from the research community.","PeriodicalId":6871,"journal":{"name":"2020 11th IEEE Annual Information Technology, Electronics and Mobile Communication Conference (IEMCON)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0589-0596"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85024112","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
