A transformation is undertaken through three steps: digital business environment; digital users' experience and digital business models and ecosystem. Health care systems represent perfect systems for digital transformation processes as they are confronted with the challenge to provide their users with the best possible outcomes of health care while reducing costs. The increased number of older and chronically patients, as well as those patients who want to take control of their own health data, represent special challenges. In this case, digital transformation is not only a desirable concept but also a necessary one. This paper presents the concept of digital transformation in healthcare, with a special focus on the key elements of construction that make these processes possible. The similarity is evaluated as the mean area of the largest square patches which are in common at the same position in the two arrays. The proposed approach is tested in a case study where considering the position of the patches in the bi-dimensional space is very important. Specifically, it is used as a performance measure in predicting the magnetic field levels generated by a laptop computer and represented as a danger map in the bi-dimensional space. This paper is dedicated to the analysis of three-phase short circuit fault and its impact to the real 20 kV power distribution lines. One of the most important parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina's power system was monitored and analyzed. Short circuit currents and voltages were obtained by using the power distribution lines numerical protection system measurements from the moment of fault occurrence to the moment when the faulty line was switched off. Part of the power system of interest was modeled in EMTP-RV (Electromagnetic Transient Program - Restructured Version) software which is standardized software for transient analyses. Several simulations were conducted to perform fault analysis. Waveshapes are approximated by multi-peaked analytically extended function (MP-AEF) which is a piece-wise function. The main advantage of this procedure is that it can handle signals with sharp peaks, as opposite to other Fourier transform procedures, which makes it suitable for lightning currents' waveshapes. The procedure is confirmed on single-wave cosine, triangular, trapezoidal, and double-exponential waveshapes. The article proposes a model of software ecosystem for quality assurance of higher education. It is based on the successful experience of the authors in building COMPASS software application, successfully used in many accreditation procedures at the University of Plovdiv. The proposed model expands COMPASS by adding new components - Register of Services, University Document Repository and Register of Units and Users. The novel method was applied for fetal QRS detection in electrocardiogram (ECG) recorded noninvasively from the abdomen of pregnant woman - in an ECG signal available from an open database. Algorithm robustness was tested on ECG signals with additive Gaussian noise with 8 different Signal-to-Noise Ratios (SNR). The optimal fractional order allows relatively accurate detection of fetal QRS complexes for different SNRs. The performance of the algorithm was evaluated by three parameters: root mean square error, percentage of missed QRS complexes, and the amplitude ratio of fetal and pregnant woman's ECG. Measured magnetic fields are commonly employed for fault detection in fault passage indicators, but they can also be used to determine electrical and non-electrical power line variables. In this paper a novel adaptive method for conductor sag estimation is proposed, using magnetic field measurement. The method is based on the properly calibrated approximate power line magnetic field model, in which catenary-shaped conductors are modeled by tilted straight-line conductors of infinite length. By this approximation, the overhead power line model can be used in simple devices for power line monitoring in real-time. For this purpose, a dataset is created from the titles, abstracts and keywords of papers, included in a systematic literature review on the application of semantic technologies in bibliographic databases. Data analytics methods are applied - frequency analysis of words and word combinations; linear regression for trend exploration; text classification, where the categories are the applied semantic technologies or the researched problems in accordance with a pre-defined classification framework. The vector space model enriched with PMI (pointwise mutual information) measure is used for the classification.
