Abstract

Higher education institutions operate in an extremely dynamic and competitive environment. They are subject to numerous regulations on which their status, rating and funding depend. The use of a specialized software system to support external and internal quality assurance procedures provides a significant advantage. The article proposes a model of software ecosystem for quality assurance of higher education. It is based on the successful experience of the authors in building COMPASS software application, successfully used in many accreditation procedures at the University of Plovdiv.
