This task is more and more difficult when it concerns the human genome. This genome is composed with coding and non-coding regions which are not yet fully identified. Difficulties seen in this context are particularly related to the fact that 98% of the human genome is made up of non-coding zones. Therefore it seems evident that a powerful predictive model can have a huge advantage in advancing the exploration of the human genome. In this paper, we started from text representation of the DNA sequence to the representation of exons and introns by images to classify them. Here we are introducing a convolutional neural network model to classify human exons and introns. Our model has shown very good results concerning classification learning and testing rate which exceed 90%.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"3527 1","pages":"249-254"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86658369","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The model includes most of the non-idealities which affect the performance of the component, such as sampling jitter, kT/C noise and operational amplifier parameters. A comparison with another model, implemented in MATLAB SIMULINK by Brigati et al., is made to highlight and validate the proposed model. The spectrum plot and the Power Spectral Density of the output signal are also presented to evaluate the characteristics of the modulator model. Simulation results obtained using a second-order band-pass sigma-delta modulator demonstrate the validity of the model by the mean of estimating signal-to-noise and distortion ratios and some non-linearity errors such as differential non-linearity and integral non-linearity.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"50 1","pages":"790-795"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89679600","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These prediction algorithms contribute to saving energy. Thus, extending the lifetime of that sensors through utilizing the saved energy later. Among different prediction algorithms, the moving average based ones are the most used for their simplicity with limited resources in systems like sensor nodes. The basic moving average algorithm, Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA), is appropriate only to predict energies for symmetric days. Thus, it shows significant prediction error at times of sudden weather fluctuations. The other moving average algorithms, Weather Condition Moving Average (WCMA) and Pro-Energy show considerable errors specifically at sunset and sunrise times with a preference for the last one. This paper proposes a new moving average algorithm, named (EWWC), to eliminate the overall daily prediction error by combining two moving average algorithms (EWMA and WCMA). For two weeks, one in summer and another in winter, EWWC shows an average prediction error of (16.3%, 20.5%) while (EWMA) and (WCMA) show (21.2%, 25.1%) and (17.9%, 22.1%), respectively. This means that EWWC has an improvement of 1.6% in both weeks. Thus, it is recommended to be used for predicting energy in solar-powered sensor nodes.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"21 1","pages":"1047-1052"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78564264","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First of all, a new sliding manifold has been developed to remove the restrictive assumptions in the most of the existing fuzzy sliding mode control approaches. In addition, we took into account the delayed state in the sliding function in order to improve the performance behavior. Furthermore, a good performance can be ensured by choosing an appropriate cost function. The asymptotic stability condition of the closed loop system as well as the sliding mode controller design have been ensured based on LMIs (Linear Matrix Inequalities) formulation. Finally, the obtained simulation results prove the efficiency of the proposed control scheme.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"1 1","pages":"1127-1135"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75253906","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, to attenuate the oscillations amplitudes, we propose solutions exploiting the Indirect Instantaneous Torque Control (IITC) and considering the speed and load variations are proposed in this article. Using the simulation results provided by the execution of the behavioral model developed based on the finite element method, we determine the SRM static and dynamic characteristics. The adopted algorithm starts with computation of difference between images using modified temporal difference. Images differencing are calculated by subtracting two input frames, at each position of the pixel. Instead of generating image differencing using the traditional continuous approach, we have proposed to use a fixed and modified number of alternate frames centered on the current frame. This approach aims to reduce the computational complexity without compromising on image differencing quality. Object segmentation is finally performed on the refined difference image by the Otsu's algorithm. The evaluation tests show that the proposed approach reaches the better performance of detection compared with other approaches.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"31 1","pages":"1378-1382"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75748702","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Protecting drivers' privacy is one of the most critical problems raised by researchers. VANET users would not accept building location profiles of the movements of their vehicles. To that effect, solving this issue is of significant concern. Pseudonym switching and radio silence techniques are among the widely accepted privacy protection solutions in the literature. Radio silence intervals have a considerable impact on the efficiency of the proposed schemes. In this paper we will evaluate the performance of some known pseudonym switching schemes under different radio silence periods.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"2675 1","pages":"79-85"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72661765","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The tracking MPC problem distribute a control law appropriate for regulating constrained uncertain system to a given target system. Though, when the target operating point changes, the feasibility of the controller may be lost and the controller miss to track the reference. In this paper, a novel MPC for tracking variation system references is introduced. The main issue consist to minimizing a cost that penalizes the error between the state of the original system and the reference system state, taking into account, an polyhedral invariant set for tracking is considired as extended terminal constraint. The properties of the proposed controller has been tested in two example. Simulation results show that the proposed tracking MPC successfully achieves robust tracking in terms of control performance.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"11 1","pages":"908-914"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84300104","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
