In this paper, an effort is made to evaluate the distance detection fusion of a target away from two uncorrelated, different technology sensors. The Robot Operating System framework is used to manage data collection between the two sensors and the python software engine. The negative behavior of the single-pixel distance detection of the depth camera was concluded according to the measurement tests creating a plausibility problem for the obstacle detection process as a fused sensor. A solution is also proposed in this paper to overcome this problem using center pixel averaging. The plausibility check algorithm was successfully proposed and tested practically detecting the implausible distance measurements.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"106 1","pages":"625-631"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80954839","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Load variations and misalignment are the main factors that affect the output power and efficiency of the system. For that, SMC is used on the transmitter side to track the minimum input current in order to realize the maximum efficiency by regulating the duty cycle of the DC-DC boost converter connected to the power supply. However, SMC is used to access the desired output voltage by controlling the DC-DC boost converter connected to the load on the receiving side. Different control techniques that the SMC proposes are exploited on the sending and receiving side to achieve the desired output. SMC is also compared with the PI control technique. It introduces more efficiency and output power with variable load and coupling factor. Simulation results illustrate that the desired output voltage is achieved with different loads and different input voltages with 76% system efficiency. Moreover, the maximum efficiency has been achieved when the coupling factor is 0.7, while the maximum input power is achieved when the coupling factor is 0.1.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"1 1","pages":"998-1003"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80107736","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

WSNs are known by their limitation in term of energy, memory, and computing capability. Therefore, these sensors need effective wireless communication protocols in terms of energy efficiency, ease of deployment, and low latency. LEACH is the principle routing algorithm adopted today for WSN data transmission. It is the origin of a variety of self-organizing clustering-based routing protocol. Data communication is the main source of energy losses beside but to a lesser extent data processing. The actual research is a step by step follow of LEACH focusing into the energy dissipation in various stages. The simulation of the protocol is accomplished through a MATLAB implementation to clarify the dissipation process. Nodes die after the residual energy has reached a minimum allowed threshold necessary for sensor functionality as part of the WSN. LEACH shows good performances but requires improvement in the cluster head selection stage by the use optimization techniques.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"22 1","pages":"53-57"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80373539","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Detecting and identifying this disease is very difficult since it is a type of internal cancer that may not cause symptoms. Early detection of bowel cancer saves effort, minimizes diagnostic time, and helps target the best treatment to increase the cure rate. Many deep learning systems are being produced to help physicians diagnose bowel cancer early. These systems use several types of data such as histopathological images. In this article, we propose a new method of classifying intestinal cancer readings and non-pathological lesions. This method is based on the use of a deep learning network CNN (convolutional neural network). As training data, we use the SNP protein sequences of APC gene which is located at q22.2 on the human chromosome 5. SNP sequences are transformed from textual form to scalogram images then presented on different color spaces to create three databases. In order to evaluate this technique, we use quantitative measures such as: accuracy, sensitivity, specificity and precision. The obtained values are respectively 96.19%, 97.42%, 85.46% and 98.32%. These results show the performance of the proposed method and confirm the relationship between small protein changes at the SNP level of APC gene and intestinal cancer.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"27 2 1","pages":"255-263"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77229725","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Taking into account that the proposed conversion chain consists of a photovoltaic generator, an adaptation stage composed of a boost dc/dc converter associated in series with a three phase dc/ac converter and the grid. In particular, the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) approach based on P&O is devoted to the boost converter. However, the hysteresis current control is dedicated to the three phase dc/ac converter. Consequently, so as to achieve a feasibility of these two techniques, the author resorted to the Matlab/Simulink environment to carried out the necessary simulations. In other hand, the experimental results have been carried out with help a Dspace card accompanied with the conversion chain, PV module and the grid.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"6 1","pages":"1399-1404"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78912103","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Indeed, in the last decade, the optical flow has become an alternative technique to estimate motion on successive frames. However, dense and precise estimates of the optical flow are usually costly in computing time. In this context, our approach is focused upon calculating the moving object's optical flow through the use of the Lucas-Kanade algorithm in real time which is implemented into Raspberry Pi 4. The efficiency of our real time implementation is demonstrated by the experimental results, hence showing better performances in comparison with the conventional calculation.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"21 1","pages":"1032-1037"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88349445","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To study the considered analysis and design problems, a line-integral polynomial fuzzy Lyapunov function with polynomial terms depending of the estimated states is proposed. The proposed design conditions of the positive polynomial fuzzy controllers guaranteeing both the stability and the non negativeness of the estimated states, are solved using Sum of Squares(SOS) approach. Finally, simulations examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"20 1","pages":"1314-1321"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83160886","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This type of biped robot is a two-degree-freedom mechanical system characterized by an impulsive hybrid dynamics that brings out attractive nonlinear phenomena like chaos and different types of bifurcations. In this work, we investigate by means of bifurcation diagrams, the influence of certain parameters on the passive motion of bipedal robot. As a result, we show the exhibition of new complex walking behaviors emerged from different types of bifurcations such as the period-doubling bifurcation and the Neimark-Sacker bifurcation, and also emerged via the period-remerging scenario. These results further confirm the complexity of the biped/human walk.","PeriodicalId":6799,"journal":{"name":"2021 18th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD)","volume":"1 1","pages":"160-165"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83722300","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
