Thus energy must be used in optimized manner during the network operation. Most of routing algorithm use minimum hop distance and minimum transmission energy model. In such case same path is used many times which leads to drainage to energy of sensor nodes falling in routing path. Some time energy of nodes exhausted result in network partition. In this paper effort has made to develop energy optimized routing algorithm for WSN using genetic algorithm and further we tried to develop elitist genetic algorithm for routing. Simulation results show that elitist genetic algorithm based routing extend network lifetime 4% to 11% compared to genetic algorithm approach and 10% to 19% traditional shortest path approach. Elitist GA raised packet delivery ratio 3% to 8% and 5% to 13% compared to genetic algorithm approach and compared to traditional shortest path approach respectively for WSN routing.","PeriodicalId":6581,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT)","volume":"48 1","pages":"1-5"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87203437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Wake up noise produce during OFF mode to ON mode transition which is an important challenge for MTCMOS circuits. Here a diode based multi mode 16 bit 8T full adder design is proposed for reducing this wake up noise and leakage current. In proposed technique we use a additional body biased based high Vth parallel pMOS for reduction of peak amplitude of wake up noise during active mode transition will also provide a way to control the leakage current in sleep mode due to stacking effect. The MTCMOS 16 bit 8T full adder design reduces the peak amplitude of wake up noise efficiently by 97.17% and reduce leakage current by 84.74% as compare to tri-mode MTCMOS technique and 16.81% reduced as compare to Dual switch MTCMOS technique To evaluate the significance of the proposed technique, the simulation has been performed for 16-bit 8T full adder circuit using tanner EDA with 90nm standard CMOS technology.","PeriodicalId":6581,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT)","volume":"43 1","pages":"1-7"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86795360","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But it is difficult to manually access the crime reports to derive useful information that can provide insights to the law enforcement officers for analysing the crime trends. The present work emphasizes on a simple yet efficient two stage approach for analysing crime against women in India. Initially, the proposed framework extracts crime reports from online newspaper articles. Once the data is collected, the first stage approach provides an interesting aspect by identifying named entities like name of states, cities, person etc. from the dataset and a collection of top ten entities of various categories is ranked according to their frequency of occurrence. The preliminary assessment shows feasible results which are also compared with crime records drawn from National Crime Records Bureau. However, the identified subtypes of entities are mostly ignored whereas dealing only with the basic entities fails to provide in-depth recognition of crime trends. So considering the subtypes can really provide the prerequisites for finer distinction in the field of crime data mining. The second stage approach in the present work considers the sub-types of named entities as ‘Modus Operandi’ features (mode of operation) of the crime that caters exquisite perception of the crime performed against women in India. Though lot of research exists on crime analysis, considering modus operandi features is very less. The present work demonstrates the effectiveness of the method with high recall and precision for the identified named entities.","PeriodicalId":6581,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT)","volume":"6 1","pages":"1-5"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86810291","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, such information about a particular user is available from multiple online sources/services, like social media applications, professional/social networking sites, location based service providers or even from simple Web-pages. The nature of this data being truly heterogeneous, high in volume and also highly dynamic over time, the problem of collecting these data artifacts from disparate sources, to enable complete user-profiling can be challenging. In this paper, we present an approach to dynamically build a structured user profile, that emphasizes the temporal nature to capture dynamic user behavior. The user profile is compiled from multiple, heterogeneous data sources which capture dynamic user actions over time, to capture changing preferences accurately. Natural language processing techniques, machine learning and concepts of the semantic Web were used for capturing relevant user data and implement the proposed “3D User Profile”. Our technique also supports the representation of the generated user profiles as structured data so that other personalized recommendation systems and Semantic Web/Linked Open Data applications can consume them for providing intelligent, personalized services.","PeriodicalId":6581,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT)","volume":"100 1","pages":"1-7"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85788197","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, the Selective Spatiotemporal Interest Points (Selective STIPs) are extracted from the input video and is labeled using a dictionary. The actions are segmented into sub-actions, and then the temporal and spatial structure is captured. The segmentation is done on the basis of interest point density. The spatial and temporal relationships between the labeled STIPs is represented using Space Salient and Time Salient directed graphs respectively. Time Salient pairwise feature (TSP) and Space Salient pairwise feature (SSP) is computed from corresponding directed graphs. The Selective STIP suppresses the background STIPs and detects more robust STIPs from the actors which improves performance of recognition. The Bag-of-Visual Words model combined with TSP and SSP for human action classification provides a more promising result.","PeriodicalId":6581,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT)","volume":"48 1","pages":"1-6"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86333219","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The symptoms of MS are muscle weakness, weak reflexes, muscle spasm, difficult to move, miss-coordination and unbalance with others. Image processing plays a vital role in diagnosing multiple sclerosis. This paper proposes a novel method to detect the brain disease multiple sclerosis by segmenting brain into right and left hemispheres which are then divided into 16 quadrants. The disease is identified by the presence of higher pixels in specific quadrants of white matter and regions near to Cerebro spinal fluid(CSF); also by the absence of higher intensity pixels on gray matter. A total of 10 multiple sclerosis and healthy brain images are taken for experimentation. The result obtained show that the proposed method successfully identifies multiple sclerosis.","PeriodicalId":6581,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT)","volume":"101 1","pages":"1-6"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80453443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem of content obscuring can be commonly seen in tutorial videos. This problem is addressed by making transparent background surface using interactive pen or pen digitizers. No work has been done so far to achieve transparency effects in paper and whiteboard based tutorial videos without any additional hardware. Hence, this paper introduces a semi transparency effect in a paper and whiteboard based tutorials. This work is well suited for large amount of already recorded paper and whiteboard based tutorial videos available on the internet. The proposed method uses combined averaging methods with background modeling techniques and does not rely on interactive pen displays or any other costly hardware setup.
