Even though Carrier Aggregation (CA) and higher order modulation used, available spectrum is still the bottleneck of communication speed and network latency. Nowadays, more and more companies and institutes are paying more attention to over 6GHz communication system research. Recently released news indicate frequency points are mainly on 12GHz, 15GHz, 28GHz, 38GHz even 70GHz, and accompanied working bandwidth is about 400MHz to 1GHz. As working band goes higher, antenna conceptions will also be updated. A CPW-Fed monopole antenna working in KU-band with more than 20% relative bandwidth is hereby introduced, which might be a good candidate for future 5G cellular networks and also satellite based DBS reception system. Among all the SDR systems based on general purpose processor (GPP), OpenAirInterface (OAI) is one of the most comprehensive and competitive open-source SDR systems. Due to the design of signal-thread processing in the system, the user equipment (UE) of OAI still cannot process the vast amounts of data when the bandwidth is up to 20 MHz in the real-time experiments. This paper provides an overview of the system architecture in the real-time experimentation of OAI and analyzes its baseband signal processing. Then, the authors of this paper propose and implement a method of multithread parallel processing on the UE of OAI. Over-the-air experiments are carried out with the proposed method for the purpose of performance evaluation in the real- time wireless environment. Taking the contents distribution into account, we propose a hybrid transmitting strategy and investigate the performance enhancement it brings about. Then by formulating the helper finding and resource allocation as a minimum downloading time problem, we propose a low complexity scheme to determine: (1) the idle user which should serve as helper for each downloader through D2D underlay communication (2) the cellular user which shares the uplink resource with less interference. Numerical simulations show that the strategy of taking contents distribution into account can bring significant performance gain. Thus, an efficient system for mapping road anomalies can significantly promote the safety of drivers and pedestrians. This paper proposes a novel road anomaly mapping system that is able to detect a wide variety of conditions with high accuracy. The smartphone's accelerometer and GPS sensors are used for detection to minimize infrastructure costs. In addition, to ensure the system is adaptive to different road conditions, pattern recognition techniques are used to automatically calculate the detection threshold. Furthermore, to compensate for GPS inaccuracies, reinforcement learning based on a proposed reward system is used to maximize confidence in the detected anomalies. The reward system is also able to forget anomalies that have been fixed. Moreover, the system is implemented in a distributed way between the smartphone and a cloud server to minimize cellular bandwidth usage, while still retaining the accuracy advantages of a centralized cloud. In this paper, we propose IEEE 802.15.7 standard-compliant physical layer (PHY) implementation and experimental evaluation, using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) automotive light emitting diode (LED) fog light for the purpose of low-latency safety message dissemination. We first show that the standard is applicable to line of sight (LoS) vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) VLC. We then demonstrate that the proper selection of modulation coding schemes (MCS) plays an important role in order to minimize bit-error- rate (BER) for the reliable transmission with varying inter-vehicle distances. It exploits packet-switched network to provide call services instead of the traditional circuit- switched telephony. Similar to the Voice over IP (VoIP), VoLTE adopts Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) to achieve some control functions. Therefore, it means attack techniques against the SIP will also be effective against VoLTE devices. In this paper, we propose a novel device-side SIP-aware detecting system against two kinds of SIP attacks, SIP message flooding attack and malformed SIP message attack. To detect the message flooding attack, we set threshold for the traffic of SIP message received from VoLTE interface within one minute. And for the malformed message attack, we provide the structure and formalization rules of SIP messages to detect malformed SIP messages by utilizing ontology descriptions. This paper presents the design and implementation of this detecting system. The effect of fading severity in the secondary transmitter-primary receiver (ST-PR) and secondary transmitter-secondary receiver (ST-SR) links, and the impact of different antenna gains on the system performance are analyzed. Cooperative sensing is applied to reduce misdetection probability and to avoid collision with primary users. Upon successful detection of a spectrum hole, both SUs start bidirectional communication in the FDTR mode in an asynchronous manner to decrease average collision duration while doubling throughput.
