From ns-3 simulation with realistic channel model and vehicle mobility model, iDTSG achieves almost 100% delivery ratio, similar to DTSG, but at a much lower cost of rebroadcast packets, in low vehicle densities. The results also show that the dynamic estimation of the inter-veicle spacing used in iDTSG performs well.","PeriodicalId":6319,"journal":{"name":"2012 9th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"18 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74794357","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For each generator, the technique can determine the demands they supply, and likewise, for each demand, the technique can determine the generators who provide physical supply. In addition, the proportion of the total electricity flow in each individual transmission asset can be attributed to either the generators or demands that use the asset. But it is difficult to do so due to the non linear nature of power flow. The Tracing method allows assessment of how much of the power output of a particular generator goes to a particular load. It also allows the assessment of the contribution of individual generators to individual line flows. This paper presents a study of transmission loss allocation using Tracing algorithms. The method can be useful in providing greater insight into power system operation and can be used to modify present tariffs of charging for transmission loss, reactive power and transmission services. Tracing algorithms have been applied and results are presented illustrating flow patterns from generators to demand and patterns of transmission asset usage for a standard 4 bus and IEEE 14 bus system.","PeriodicalId":6319,"journal":{"name":"2012 9th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"239 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74901997","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

That technique regulates the turn-on and turn-off trajectory planes of the controlled switch to achieve optimum dynamic and static performance. The circuit model of buck converter taking into account the effect of the output capacitor equivalent series resistance (ESR) is derived. The theoretical approach is verified by simulation of a 24 V/10 V (40 kHz) buck converter.","PeriodicalId":6319,"journal":{"name":"2012 9th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"122 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79968975","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The parameterization problem is the problem in which all stabilizing controllers for a plant are sought. Since this parameterization can successfully search for all proper stabilizing controllers, it is used as a tool for many control problems. For stable plants, the parameterization of all stabilizing controllers can be represented by the IMC structure. The IMC structure has advantages such as closed-loop stability is assured simply by choosing a stable IMC parameter. Additionally, closed-loop performance characteristics are related directly to controller parameters, which make online tuning of the IMC very convenient. However, there exists a question whether or not, stabilizing controllers for unstable plants can be represented by the IMC structure. The solution to this problem, Morari and Zafiriou, Chen et al. and Mai et al. clarified that any stabilizing controller for unstable plants can be represented by the IMC structure by the parameterization of all stabilizing IMCs for unstable plants. However, their IMCs cannot guarantee the stability of control system for plants with uncertainties. In this paper, we clarify the parameterization of all proper robust stabilizing IMCs for multiple-input/multiple-output plants such that the IMC and the internal model are proper.","PeriodicalId":6319,"journal":{"name":"2012 9th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"10 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78036763","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The importance of strong stabilizations is to solve some problems occurred by using unstable stabilizing controllers, for example, feedback control systems become high sensitive for disturbances. Hoshikawa et al. clarified the class of strongly stabilizable plants and proposed the parameterization of all strongly stabilizing controllers for those plants. However, in this parameterization, we cannot specify the input-output characteristic and the feedback characteristic separately. One of the ways to specify these characteristics separately is to use two-degree-of-freedom control system. However, the parameterization of all two-degree-of-freedom strongly stabilizing controllers has not been examined. The purpose of this paper is to propose the parameterization of all two-degree-of-freedom strongly stabilizing controllers for strongly stabilizable plants.","PeriodicalId":6319,"journal":{"name":"2012 9th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"62 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73187168","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Luminaire performance indices such as utilization factor, efficiency and surrounding ratio are utilized for the selection procedure. The developed program compares these luminaire performance indices and selects the proper luminaire considering lighting criteria. The selected luminaire can be used in the lighting design program such as DIALux program for further roadway lighting design. The developed program can reduce time for roadway luminaire selection. Lower cost and power can also be achieved from the luminaire selection.","PeriodicalId":6319,"journal":{"name":"2012 9th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"17 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74082661","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This method (DIF-IFFT) can reduce the computation complexity relatively with keeping the better PAPR performance similar to other PTS techniques with using the same weighting factor. To improve computation complexity for the PTS method, the Extended Split-Radix inverse fast Fourier transform (SRIFFT) which can reduces the number of computation complexity was proposed. However, the PAPR reduction performance is the same as that for the radix-2 method. In this paper, we propose a new weighting factor technique in conjunction with DIF-PTS sub-blocking based on Extended Split-Radix IFFT technique called Improve PTS (I-PTS) which can improve both the PAPR performance and computation complexity without any increasing of side information. This paper presents the various computer simulation results to verify the effectiveness of proposed method.","PeriodicalId":6319,"journal":{"name":"2012 9th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"143 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73979063","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Automatic fingerprint recognition system relies on the input fingerprint for feature extraction. Hence, the effectiveness of feature extraction relies heavily on the quality of input fingerprint images. In this paper adaptive filtering in frequency domain in order to enhance the fingerprint image is proposed. Enhancement of the original fingerprint image is obtained by histogram equalization of the Gabor filtered image.","PeriodicalId":6319,"journal":{"name":"2012 9th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"27 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74063738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the other hand, the penetration of PVGS may cause an islanding problem. This paper derives Non Detection Zone (NDZ) of Over/Under voltage and Over/Under frequency method in order to increase accuracy for islanding prevention. In addition to safety issue, this paper proposes the protective device placement for system reliability improvement by using Genetic Algorithm (GA) optimization. The optimization also takes account of islanding prevention as constraint. The proposed method is brought to apply with Tasine 34-bus distribution system, and the simulation results are satisfactory.","PeriodicalId":6319,"journal":{"name":"2012 9th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"36 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87681909","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To improve the measurement accuracy of cavity perturbation method which occurs from variable size of the samples, the field analysis of TM0n0 cylindrical cavities with two concentric layers of real dielectric at the axis is used. The field analysis method was proposed for calculation of the complex permittivity for liquid material by using the resonant technique. The complex permittivities of distilled water, methanol and ethanol samples were measured.
