These structural parameters of achieved nano-catalyst was studied by using P-XRD, SEM-EDAX, FT-IR and Energy band gap techniques. The electrochemical analysis of synthesized CuO nanoparticle modified with carbon paste was investigated using 0.1 M KCl under different scan rates of 0.01-0.05 V/s. The sensing activity of prepared material was performed for Paracetamol medicine at concentration 1-5 mM in the potential range of – 1.0 V to + 1.0 V using cyclic voltametric analysis. Microwave accelerated synthesis of substituted-2-aminothiophene by a 3-component (acetophenone, malononitrile and elemental sulphur) one pot Gewald reaction using low-cost nano-catalyst (CuO nanoparticle) to perform for chemical reactions. The synthesized compounds were confirmed by FT-IR, 1HNMR, 13C NMR and Mass spectral techniques. The antibacterial activity was examined using Bacillus cereus (gram positive) & Ciprofoxin (gram negative) organism and evaluated antifungal activities using Candida albicans (gram positive) & Itraconazole (gram negative) organism for prepared organic compounds tested under agar diffusion method. Molecular docking studies were discussed for both carboxylate and carbonitrile derivatives at the active site of the bacterial protein GlcN-6-P synthase. Green chemistry encourages the design of synthetic processes that minimize the use and generation of hazardous substances.","PeriodicalId":6299,"journal":{"name":"2008 3rd International Conference on Sensing Technology","volume":"164 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135968077","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

PXRD investigation shows the structural evidences and average-particle size (∼ 30-44) nm of prepared BMZ NPs. SEM-EDAX characterizes the surface-morphology and chemical constituents of BMZ-NPs. The band gap energy (Eg) values of undoped and Bi doped MgZrO4 NPs (0.01-0.05 mol%) were noted between 3.86 to 2.8 eV, investigated by UV-Visible spectral techniques. The electrochemical analysis of prepared samples revealed a good sensor activity towards paracetamol drug chemical detection under both acidic and basic electrolytic media. An excellent photo-degradation activity was noted for BMZ-NPs on AO-7 as model dye and shows 91.4% at 90 min under irradiation of UV Visible-light. Additionally, the antibacterial activity of BMZ NPs against gram + ve and gram -ve bacteria was examined in well diffusion agar technique. The obtained diameter of zone inhibition illustrates BMZ NPs hinders the growth of S. aureus bacteria (5.2 mm against antibiotic streptomycin of 2 mm) much more effectively than E. coli (5.2 mm against ampicillin of 7.7 mm). These results are confirms that the BMZ NPs is an potential candidate for catalytic, sensor and optoelectronic device applications.","PeriodicalId":6299,"journal":{"name":"2008 3rd International Conference on Sensing Technology","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134974879","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The PNMCPE shows a great electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of CC and HQ in phosphate buffer solution (PBS) of pH 7.4 than the BCPE. All experimental parameters are studied such as scan rate effect, effect of concentration, stability and interference study. With these studies optimised result was obtained at PNMCPE. The limit of detection (LOD) of CC and HQ was found to be 1.917 µM and 1.902 µM. and limit of quantification (LOQ) of CC and HQ was found to be 6.39 µM and 6.34 µM. The real sample analysis was successfully applied in tap water sample with a satisfactory recovery. Ultimately, this method can be used for the development of electrochemical sensor for sensitive analysis of CC and HQ.","PeriodicalId":6299,"journal":{"name":"2008 3rd International Conference on Sensing Technology","volume":"167 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135600108","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the past, researchers collected data under the sea by the way of both sending oceanographic equipments into water and recovering it at the end of mission. The whole process often took long time so real-time services cannot be supported. Wireless sensor networks can detect events and transmit the collected data to a data center immediately. However, current terrestrial routing protocols are not suitable in the underwater sensor networks. Due to unique characteristics in the water, the transmission performance and energy of the routing protocols are inefficient. This paper develops an energy-efficient routing protocol in underwater sensor networks. The protocol is designed to reduce the number of packets transferring in the network, and also decreases the needed energy consumption. The protocol has been evaluated using Network Simulator 2 (NS-2). The results show that the number of reduced packets is considerable.","PeriodicalId":6299,"journal":{"name":"2008 3rd International Conference on Sensing Technology","volume":"18 1","pages":"114-118"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73255351","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The simple Haar - like filters having variable filter width and shift width are trained to learn appropriate filter parameters from the training samples to detect speech. To further decrease the calculation cost, the use of intermediate signal representation called ldquointegral signalrdquo is proposed. Our method yielded speech/nonspeech classification accuracy of 97.44% for the input length of 0.1 s. Compared with high performance feature extraction method MFCC (mel-frequency cepstrum coefficient), the proposed haar-like filtering can be approximately 93.71% efficient in terms of the total amount of add and multiply calculations while capable of achieving the error rate of only 2.56% relative to MFCC.","PeriodicalId":6299,"journal":{"name":"2008 3rd International Conference on Sensing Technology","volume":"11 1","pages":"52-56"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89232307","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sample devices were prepared by the partial sintering of silver particles on thermally oxidized titanium foil. The device exhibited Schottky-type current-voltage characteristics in the 200 to 400degC operating temperature range in clean air. The high sensitivity and wide dynamic range observed for hydrogen detection are described by a model based on the variation of the height of the potential barrier established at the junction with respect to the concentration of the reducing contaminations in the surrounding atmosphere, which reduced the adsorbed oxygen coverage at the effective surface of the silver aggregate. The wide dynamic range of the device allowed a single sensor to measure H2 contamination in air in 50 ppm to 25% range.","PeriodicalId":6299,"journal":{"name":"2008 3rd International Conference on Sensing Technology","volume":"181 1","pages":"72-75"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77372763","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
