In this paper, a radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) illuminance model is proposed to simplify the calculation process of illuminance and the calculated illuminance value can provide data support for the optimization control calculation as the feedback link of optimization control. In this paper, a genetic simulated annealing algorithm is designed by combining genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm to avoid the problem of traditional control algorithm falling into local optimal solution. Through the simulation verification of three lighting scenes with different personnel distribution, the traditional particle swarm optimization algorithm saves 46.00%, 38.00% and 37.11% energy respectively, while the genetic simulated annealing algorithm saves 47.22%, 46.67% and 41.78 energy respectively. Employing fixed effect panel analysis, it is found that GDP as a proxy of economic performance has a significant and positive association with renewable energy, transportation, advanced technologies, and energy efficiency. It is implied that renewable energy consumption and energy efficiency factors enhance resource utilization and reduce economic costs, which ultimately helps countries boost their economic performance. Moreover, it is also argued that efficient transportation and innovative technologies promote renewable energy usage and a green economy. On this basis, considering the impact of natural disasters, the establishment and construction of the core backbone grid is of great importance. This paper proposes a risk assessment system of power grid operation involving multi-link uncertain factors. And the search model of the core backbone grid is constructed with the minimum comprehensive risk index and the minimum total line length as the objective function, and the network connectivity and power network security operation as the constraints. For stronger searching ability, the traditional fireworks algorithm is improved by introducing new explosion mode, new Gaussian variation, new mapping rules and elite-random selection strategy. Finally, the improved IEEE 39 system is simulated and the obtained backbone network frame meets the search requirements. It is necessary to determine the optimal way to operate existing power systems. D-FACTS devices are used to eliminate transmission line infractions. The aim of this paper is to investigate the optimal placement of FACTS devices in transmission lines. For this, a 37-bus benchmark test case has been selected for testing. The results show violations in transmission lines and no other path to install new transmission lines between these buses. After getting results for optimal placement of FACTS from the contingency analysis tool in PowerWorld Simulator, D-FACTS devices are placed on overloaded transmission lines. An MMC structure often contains hundreds of SMs. Although the metallized polypropylene film (MPPF) capacitors with superior performance are widely used in current MMC projects, the aging and failure of those capacitors are still inevitable. Considering the most common cause of failure (self-healing and end-spray detachment), equivalent series capacitance (ESC) and equivalent series resistance (ESR) are employed to account for condition parameters of the MPPF capacitor. A new SM impedance measurement technique is proposed to monitor the condition of MPPF capacitors in MMC. Measurement technique extracts arm current, switching sequence and voltage signal of SMs which are already existed in control system, SMs capacitor voltage and current is then calculated by above signals. After processing its various frequency components by fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm, ESC and ESR of MPPF capacitor can be figured out with desired frequency. A 2.1kVA MMC system is established in MATLAB/Simulink. The energy consumption for the building is related to the design stage. Many factors that should be taken into account for this stage, such as techno-economical parameters, directly affect the building energy consumption. Co-simulation is applied to optimize the design of residential buildings located in a hot climate to minimize life cycle costs while increasing their energy efficiency. A new approach of building performance assessment based on parametric design and analysis life cycle cost used the co-simulation method, in this study, we reduced the need for seasonal energy consumption by air conditioners and analyzed life cycle cost, 15 thermal and geometric factors are selected in this study such as Surface, Factor form, heat transfer through the walls, roof, and ground, also coefficient of absorption for solar radiation of the roof and the wall, Windows to Wall Ration and Factor Solar of Windows for four directions North, South, East, and West. The results of the metamodel from the co-simulation are compared against those obtained from a TRNSYS dynamic simulation; the fractional factorial metamodel has been accurate results. The work efficiency of P2H technology, converting electricity from renewable energy into green hydrogen by water electrolysis can be improved by recycling its waste heat, which can be called power to hydrogen and heat (P2HH). In this paper, P2HH has been applied with a large-scale alkaline electrolyser, so that it works as a prosumer consuming electricity, and producing hydrogen and heat simultaneously. The mathematical model of the wind and hydrogen hybrid system with P2HH technology has been built and the economic performance of the hybrid system connected to the power grid has been investigated by applying an economic model predictive control (EMPC) strategy for its optimal dispatch. By using real-life historical data from the Bornholm energy island in Denmark, the simulation results show that the EMPC controller is capable of robustness to achieve optimal electricity consumption, energy cost savings, and the best economic benefits in terms of various system configurations, weights for hydrogen price, constraints on its recycled heat and working temperature. Firstly, a sliding mode control algorithm is proposed based on a new approaching law, combining the traditional power approaching law and exponential approaching law. Secondly, based on the sliding mode control algorithm, a robust control strategy is proposed.
