First, based on meteorological observation data about sandstorms and text data of news events, we collected 76 sandstorm events on the Mongolian Plateau from 2000 to 2021 in the study. Second, we downloaded MODIS data of corresponding spatiotemporal regions, which were screened and processed in combination with the cloud size. And we preprocessed the MODIS data for geometric correction with MRTK plugin in the ENVI software. Then, we constructed the DSDI of dust index and extracted the spatial distribution information of dust to obtain the of spring sandstorm distribution of Mongolian Plateau. With the ArcGIS software for random selection of verification points, we used the station record, text data, image enhancement, visual interpretation to complete the accuracy evaluation. The overall classification accuracy reaches 85.24% with a Kappa coefficient of 0.7636. This dataset can directly reflect the spatial distribution of sandstorms on the Mongolian Plateau, which can provide detailed and reliable data support for the control of sandstorm disasters. At the same time, it can also back up decision-making process of controlling the risk of sandstorm disasters on the Mongolian Plateau.","PeriodicalId":57643,"journal":{"name":"China Scientific Data","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41333965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Carbonate reservoirs in central Sichuan Basin are well formed, and various pores are well developed and preserved. Supergene dissolution, buried dissolution, and dolomitization have improved reservoir physical properties and is conducive to the reservoir permeability. Pore types including intragranular dissolved pores, intergranular dissolved pores, mold pores, etc. brings out connected dissolution fractures. At the top, a good paleoweathering crust reservoir is formed under karstification. By collecting the strata of Leikoupo Formation encountered in Well LG 19, Well LG 173, Well ZT 1, Well TN 112, Well Y 105, and Well PL 19 in the Central Sichuan Basin as the research object, we produced a dataset of rock micro thin section data. Leikoupo Formation in the Central Sichuan Basin is mainly composed of algal laminar dolomite, sandy dolomite, and breccia dolomite. The sedimentary facies are carbonate evaporation limited platform facies. The subfacies can be divided into tidal flat and intra platform beach subfacies. The tidal flat has microfacies such as cloud flat and gypsum cloud flat. And the intra platform beach can be subdivided into bioclastic beach and sandy beach. This dataset can be used to divide the sedimentary microfacies of the Leikoupo Formation in this area, study the control of the formation and distribution of micro relative reservoirs, determine the favorable reservoir microfacies, and provide effective guidance for oil and gas exploration and development. The image dataset can further provide basic data support for the production of machine learning image dataset.","PeriodicalId":57643,"journal":{"name":"China Scientific Data","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41352490","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the event extraction dataset commonly used in the real world (such as ACE2005, etc.) is oriented to the general field, and the text corpus resources on military events are scarce. Therefore, we collected a large amount of military news content from public military news websites. Firstly, on the basis of text content analysis, we first established an event model of military news including event types, entity types and entity relationship types. Secondly, we manually labeled the text data according to the event model, which was iteratively verified and corrected simultaneously. Finally, we obtained dataset of 13,000 high-quality military news events with a full variety of labels. We make this military news event dataset publicly available in this paper.","PeriodicalId":57643,"journal":{"name":"China Scientific Data","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48968800","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The establishment of the data policy of STM journals is of great significance to promote the data sharing, data reuse, data citation and scientific research evaluation. In this paper, by means of literature research and online research and based on the information published on journal websites, we surveyed the data policies operation status of 302 STM journals that were selected as the leading journals, key journals, and echelon journals in the Excellence Action Plan for China's STM Journals. Then we statistically analyzed the data policy setting, and the features of the policy, such as classification types, data availability, and data citation. The survey shows the current practice progress of China’s high-level STM journals related to scientific data publishing. Among the statistical journal sources, 81.82% of leading journals, 62.07% of key journals, 34.67% of echelon journals and 69.23% of high-starting new journals have formulated relevant data policies. According to survey results, the publication of data in STM journals has been widely recognized as one of the effective ways to promote scientific data sharing. Presently, all major publishing institutions have developed relevant data policies. Compared with the international counterparts, the data publishing of China’s STM journals still has a long way to go in industry recognition and framework strategy, and it is urgent to develop a universal data policy framework for different journals and publishers.","PeriodicalId":57643,"journal":{"name":"China Scientific Data","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43247445","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The evolution of mid-channel bar (MCB) has a good reference value for wetland protection and waterway safety, and the dynamic changes of vegetation on the continent are also crucial for river ecosystem functions and related ecosystem services. In this paper, based on the Landsat image data from 1987 to 2020, we used the ArcGIS software to synthesize the bands and improved the normalized differential water index method and the object-oriented classification method, so as to obtain the forms of MCB and some vegetation classification vectors on the continents in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in the past 30 years. In addition, we compared the data with high spatial resolution images to verify the accuracy and reliability of the data.
