Pemerintah Indonesia telah berusaha untuk mengurangi kerugian akibatbencana melalui penerapan kurikulum kebencanaan dalam pendidikan formaldisekolah. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran sekolahdalam usaha pengurangan risiko bencana melalui sektor pendidikan. Artikel inidisusun menggunakan studi (riset) kepustakaan. Pengetahuan dasar dari pendidikanpengurangan risiko bencana adalah bagian penting dari usaha untuk meningkatkanketahanan anak terhadap bencana. Anak nantinya akan menjadi agen peubah yangdapat mengajari masyarakatnya agar terbentuk budaya siap siaga menghadapibencana. Nowadays, it becomes more important when children grow in the environment with working parents, gadgets,television, and individual society. Therefore, Experimental Mangunan Kindergarten hasfour values, and one of the values is ‘being care’. This research was held to find how school curriculum and parents support students’ caring attitude. This is a qualitative research with grounded theory method, which is held in Experimental Mangunan Kindergarten in Yogyakarta. There are two students’ cases in this research. The respondents of the interview were taken purposively. They were the school principal, two teachers, and the students’ parents. Data collections were held by observation, interview, and reading teachers’ journals. The result was that the two students who have not yet caring to others when first entered Mangunan School, were grow to have caring attitude after eight months. Sayangnya, kekerasan terhadap aset bangsa tersebut masih banyak terjadi. Kekerasan pada anak banyak terjadi pada level keluarga. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengkaji dan menggali tentang faktor penyebab kekerasan pada anak di level keluarga atau yang sering dilakukan oleh orang tua. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan teknis analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Pemilihan sampel dengan teknik cluster sampling. Subjek penelitian ini ialah orang tua anak usia 4-6 tahun dimana anakanak mereka sekolah di Taman Kanak-Kanak di gugus Gondomanan, Umbulharjo, Gedongtengen, dan Ngampilan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untukmeningkatkan ketrampilan menyusun PTK melalui pembimbingan guru. Subyekpenelitian adalah enam guru di sekolah binaan yaitu dua guru kelas VIII di SMP N 2Sidoharjo, dua guru kelas VIII di SMP N 2 Kedawung, satu guru kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Jenar, dan satu guru kelas VIII di SMP N 1 Gondang. Waktu penelitian dilakukan tanggal 18 Juli 2017 sampai dengan tanggal 31 Desember 2017. Penelitian dilakukan melalui tindakan pembimbingan sebanyak 2 siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan atau evaluasi, dan refleksi. Hasil Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah yang dilakukan Pengawas adalah terdapat kenaikan ketrampilan guru menyusun PTK setelah dibimbing dari 53% menjadi 80%, terdapatnya hasil laporan PTK 6 eksemplar atau 100%, dan tindakan pembimbingan tampak maksimal dengan skor 93%. Data dikumpulkan dengan dokumentasidan tes. Teknik analisis data secara keseluruhan dengan analisis variansi dua jalan seltak sama, dengan uji prasyarat terpenuhi semua. Hasil penelitian ada perbedaan hasilbelajar matematika ditinjau dari penggunaan strategi problem posing dan problembased learning (= 5%). Strategi problem posing berdampak lebih baik dari pada strategi problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika. This study involves 50 students consisting of 21 female and 29 male students. These students are in secondary school with ages ranging from 13-17 years old. This study was conducted in a home for orphans and under-privileged children and all the participants of this study are from this home. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional kausal. Populasi penelitian sejumlah 190 siswa kelas VII Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 6 Salatiga tahun 2016/2017. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 128 siswa ditentukan dengan rumus Slovin (α = 0,05). Teknik sampling, proporsional random sampling dirtentukan dengan undian. Data dikumpulkan dengan dokumentasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada kontribusi penampilan guru dalam pembelajaran, motivasi, dan fasilitas terhadap hasil belajar matematika dengan mediasi kedisiplinan belajar (10%, sig. = 0,011). Penampilan guru dalam pembelajaran berkontribusi secara langsung terhadap hasil belajar matematika (0,54%, sig. = 0,412). Motivasi belajar berkontribusi secara tidak langsung terhadap hasil belajar matematika melalui kedisiplinan belajar (22,1%, sig. = 0,000). Fasilitas belajar berkontribusi secara langsung terhadap hasil belajar matematika (0,0009%, sig. = 0.997). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi.Penelitian ini dilakukan di Prodi PGSD FKIP UST Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian tindakan ini adalah mahasiswa semester 2 yang menempuh mata kuliah KBIL di Prodi PGSD FKIP UST tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, angket, wawancara atau diskusi, kajian dokumen, dan tes. Selanjutnya, untuk pemeriksaan validitas data digunakan triangulasi dan review informasi kunci. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik deskripsi komparatif untuk membandingkan hasil antar siklus. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu menunjukkan mahasiswa yang tidak tuntas pada prasiklus sebanyak 30 mahasiswa atau sebesar 65,22%, siklus I 41,31% atau 19 mahasiswa dan pada siklus II 10,87% atau 5 mahasiswa. Di sisi lain, terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan belajar yaitu pada prasiklus 34,78% atau 16 mahasiswa, meningkat menjadi 58,69% atau 27 mahasiswa pada siklus I dan 89,13% atau 41 mahasiswa pada siklus II.
