Einleitend wird die historische Entfaltung dieses Genres kurz dargestellt, auf die Problematik der Adoleszenz eingegangen sowie der Adoleszenzroman von ähnlichen Romanformen unterschieden. Im Hauptteil des Beitrags werden zwei gegenwärtige Adoleszenzromane als Beispiele dafür dargeboten, wie u. a. die postmoderne bzw. innovative und nichtlineare Erzählweise den heutigen Adoleszenzroman zu einer herausfordernden Lektüre macht. It agrees with Zheng’s findings that there are no intrinsic differences between digital literature and literature presented on other platforms in terms of their mechanical textual behaviours. However, this paper also points out the limitations of Zheng’s theory in its previous stage. To fix the problem, this paper differentiates the storytelling mechanism theory from its theoretical origin, cybertext theory, avoids the problems found in both theories, and further develops Zheng’s typology of narrative texts to include 35 logical questions that can provide more meticulous views to enquire about a narrative text. Moreover, this paper constructs a map that can be used to demonstrate visually how a narrative text is produced with collaborative efforts from the three elements in the storytelling mechanism.","PeriodicalId":55913,"journal":{"name":"Libri & Liberi","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2018-09-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43023922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
