Sharia-compliant hotels, in comparison to conventional ones, face limitations in number and require substantial development. Hence, the primary objective of this study is to examine the factors that influence the creation of eWOM and the intention of guests to revisit, considering the direct, indirect, and moderating influence of guests’ religiosity levels. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 312 respondents, employing the Structural Equation Model- Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) method for data analysis. The results of this study provide insight into the significant influence of guests’ religious levels in Sharia-compliant hotels on their intention to revisit, directly or indirectly. These findings have significant implications for understanding the essential determinants for attracting returning guests and fostering the more effective growth of Sharia-compliant hotels in Indonesia, contributing to both theoretical insights and practical applications.","PeriodicalId":55756,"journal":{"name":"Iqtishadia","volume":"75 4-5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140494503","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method of the study is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data was obtained through an in-depth interview with key persons from the Central Java Muhammadiyah (PWM Central Java) Waqf and Assets Council, the Nahdlatul Ulama Amil Zakat Institute (LAZISNU), and the Baitulmaal Muamalat. The results of this study emphasize the critical role of Nazhir in managing cash waqf and CWLS yield funds to be distributed to Mauquf 'Alaih. The management of cash waqf by the Central Java Muhammadiyah Waqf and Treasurer Council is carried out in the productive business sector, such as rental equipment, farm investment, and integrated farms in Wonolopo Central Java. Meanwhile, apart from effective businesses, LAZISNU and Baitulmaal Muamalat manage Cash Waqf through the CWLS scheme. The cash waqf yields from the three institutions were channeled to the fields of education, economy, and health. Especially for the CWLS scheme, with the great potential that the combination of cash waqf and Sukuk can be more optimally used as an instrument of financing sources to increase the welfare of people in need, especially during the pandemic.","PeriodicalId":55756,"journal":{"name":"Iqtishadia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41805898","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, accommodating these values poses a challenge for modern transaction system providers. This is because online shop providers have not been considering Sharia compliance as a crucial aspect to enhance consumer confidence, especially among Muslim consumers. Therefore, this research aims to determine the extent to which sharia conformity of web features and online shop applications influences consumers’ trust in the online shopping platform. It is a quantitative analysis that uses primary data from respondents representing the population. The research population comprises users of online shop applications that apply sharia compliance principles in their web design with sample data of 430 respondents. Furthermore, the data analysis uses linear and multiple regression methods aided by SPSS data analysis tools. The results show a positive and significant influence between sharia compliance, specifically avoiding prohibitions, object & price, buyer & seller, as well as offering & acceptance in websites design or online shop applications on consumers’ trust both partially and simultaneously. The partial influence of each sharia compliance variable is avoidance of main prohibitions, object & price, buyer & seller, as well as offer & acceptance by 60.6%, 62.6%, 69.3%, and 57.2%, respectively. Meanwhile, the simultaneous influence of sharia compliance variables on consumers’ trust is 79.4%, and other variables influence the remaining 20.6%. These results suggest that online shop consumers, specifically Muslims, make sharia values an essential criterion for selecting and using online shops. The theoretical contribution is to build and strengthen the concept and theory of sharia compliance to construct consumer trust. Concerning the practical contribution, the results could be the basis of consideration for online shop service providers to increase consumers’ trust by providing services in line with sharia compliance principles. Further research could explore additional variables that affect consumers’ confidence in using online shop platforms.","PeriodicalId":55756,"journal":{"name":"Iqtishadia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42633936","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the common problems women micro-enterprises face is the difficulty of accessing sources of capital. Islamic microfinance institutions are an alternative that can be utilized by women micro-enterprises in Indonesia to overcome the challenges in accessing business capital. This research uses a qualitative approach to study literature and in-depth interviews. The literature study was conducted by selecting relevant papers by accessing the Google Scholar database using the keywords “women empowerment” AND “Islamic microfinance” OR “Islamic microfinance”. The search time range is limited to the last 5 years, namely 2017 to 2022. The literature search results found 19 relevant papers. 4 sharia microfinance institutions are reported to run women's empowerment programs, namely sharia cooperatives, Baitul Mal Wat Tamwil, Zakat Management Organizations, and Micro Waqf Banks. The results of interviews with 20 lecturers of Islamic Economics strengthen the role of Islamic microfinance institutions in women's empowerment programs in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":55756,"journal":{"name":"Iqtishadia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46945049","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to analyze the integration of the Indonesian Islamic stock index with the Islamic stock index of developed and developing countries. Using a vector error correction model and daily data from 2012 to 2021, which reached 2088, the observations reveal that the Indonesian Islamic stock index is integrated with the Islamic stock index of developed and developing countries.
