Despite the inherent complexity associated with both hardware and software implementation, virtual reality (VR) presents abundant opportunities to broaden the horizons of learning. In the THI-LearningLabVR project, we have developed and regularly utilized a virtual learning environment, which has been subject to evaluation by students to enhance their learning experiences. As a field, we collectively develop new devices and services; we create tools for algorithmic data analysis and control; and not least, we study digital technologies and services in use, and assess their impacts.
