This paper covers how advancement in technology has enhanced the features of the drone in scope and scale to specific functions demanded across a spectrum of industries. By presenting a review of the application of drones as a cost-effective option, a variety of purposes in various industries is served as well. By using a host of sensors, vision system, and micro-controllers onboard coupled with IoT, the effectiveness of drones in collecting, analyzing, and providing data has increased multifold, upgrading existing usage and throwing open new avenues of applications. To alleviate the possibilities of the transport-related congestion and its consequences, developments in the Internet of Drones (IoD) architecture and system are studied for seamless operations, to manage the heavy traffic of drones envisaged in their airway paths, interconnections and nodal hubs for collision avoidance and safety, accident prevention and emergency measures. Traditionally, drones got inducted in combat operations for intelligence gathering and reconnaissance. This paper puts the drones and its wide-ranging application in terms of historical, current and future perspectives across sectors covering agriculture, natural habitats, construction, logistics, entertainment, healthcare, law enforcement, and disaster management; natural or manmade. COVID-19 has set a new norm globally and therefore drones need to be relevant to the changed environment and at the same time address newer challenges for wider acceptance.","PeriodicalId":54943,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Robotics & Automation","volume":"118 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2020-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76988594","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"计算机科学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Lohmander P, et al. 20201 gives a review of the literature on fundamental physical facts. He also develops a theory of the CO2 dynamics and shows how the future development of the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere can be predicted via a forced differential equation. The theory of differential equations is well described by Braun M. 1983.2 The forcing function is based on the global emissions of CO2 from power plants, industrial emissions, traffic and other sources. With alternative levels of reduction of the global CO2 emissions, it is possible to change the time path of the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere in different ways. The article shows a number of alternative possibilities.","PeriodicalId":54943,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Robotics & Automation","volume":"6 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2020-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80567241","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"计算机科学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although the risk of stroke increases with age, a stroke can occur at any age, and the most common type of stroke inhibits blood flow to the brain.2 The brain is responsible for sending motor signals to muscles through the nervous system required for muscle movement. After a stroke, these signals get affected and can delay muscle, both kinetic and kinematic responses to perturbation.1 Partial or complete loss of muscle activity (paresis) in the lower limb or limbs can result in some cases. This loss of muscle activity leads to motor-issues such as Drop foot (i.e. inability to lift the impaired foot during swing phase of gait) or Spasticity (i.e. stiffness and tightening of muscles) of lower limb muscles. These issues lead to the loss of postural control3 increasing fall risk among those affected. Stroke is not uncommon either, with around 795,000 people in the United States suffering from stroke annually according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Falls are the common complaints that individuals with such impairment have during or after their rehabilitation phase. Statistics on after stroke falls4 reveal that 14%-65% patients fall during hospitalization and between 37%-73% fall during the first 6 months of discharge from hospital. The most commonly prescribed clinical remedy provided to tackle drop foot issue and improper gait is passive thermoplastic Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO) that is designed to lock the paretic ankle joint at a certain angle, facilitate foot clearance during swing phase, ankle stability during stance phase and heel strike. While there are reported improvements of gait velocity, stride length and cadence(steps/min) shown after the use of such AFOs, studies5 show that continual constraints in the ankle joint adversely affects the compensatory stepping response, forward propulsion and proprioceptive sensory information. The primary contributor to the kinetic energy and the speed of the stepping leg is forward propulsion force which is generated by the plantar flexor muscles. Locking the ankle joint using rigid AFOs lead to impeded forward propulsion due to restricted plantar flexion and that can cause inhibited compensatory stepping response, inadequate foot clearance and improper gait. Therefore, there is a need for an Active Ankle Foot Orthotics (AAFO) which can deliver powered push off for a stronger plantar flexion, locking of the ankle joint during swing phase to prevent dragging of the paretic foot and a stable heel strike.","PeriodicalId":54943,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Robotics & Automation","volume":"25 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2020-08-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81559023","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"计算机科学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Generally, it is not fully covered like a shield because it is made by using cables motors and some useful mechanism. Exosuit is broadly developed for both rehabilitation and to augment user’s physical performance. In this paper, we will discuss the design considerations, different types of actuator, or actuation processes, sensors and some particular mechanisms and also define some limitations of the same. We used a new approach with respect to the current scenario in this paper. Here, we are only studying about the relatable importance point which is directly connected to exosuit. There are many reasons for low employment of exosuit in the industry with new technology in the automotive and logistics. At this time there are very few exoskeletons available to purchase as a final and certified product on the free market. Generally, exosuit is a worn mechanical device that works parallel with the user; it has the potential to enhance the requirements of a human. The exosuit utilizes electric or hydraulic actuator support or augments human muscle strength which helps in transporting a heavyweight object.","PeriodicalId":54943,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Robotics & Automation","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2020-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82004994","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"计算机科学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
