Preliminary simulation shows that using a tungsten converter of 2X0 thick and collimation of secondary particles beam, such accelerator allows one to get electron and positron secondary beams with energy of ~ 5…70 MeV, intensity of ~10-6-8 from the primary electron beam intensity, and energy spread of about some percent. Such low-intensity beams can be used for researches in the field of interaction of radiation with amorphous ubstances and crystals, testing detectors and scintillation materials.","PeriodicalId":54580,"journal":{"name":"Problems of Atomic Science and Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2023-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139007214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To ensure maximum capture of the ion beam injected into the accelerating structure, the injector must be able to adjust the beam parameters. The paper describes the developed new injector power supply system, built on modern assemblies, which allows smoothly changing the modulator pulse duration in the range of 300…2000 µs. The analysis was carried out and the shortcomings of the previous systems were eliminated. The expected increase in the accelerated ion beam current is 15…20%. Related results include a decrease in the parasitic load capacitances of pulsed devices, a reduction in size,\u0000and the rejection of high-voltage isolation transformers, which increases the reliability of the accelerator.","PeriodicalId":54580,"journal":{"name":"Problems of Atomic Science and Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2023-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139007817","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this work was to increase the electric field strength in the plasma, leading to an increase in the number of ECR resonances, which in turn directly depends on the power of the microwave power source. As measurements of the microwave power source “Luch-58” with the M3-13/1 wattmeter showed, satisfactory measurement accuracy can be achieved by increasing the average microwave power to 10…20 W by increasing the pulse repetition rate from the MI-125 magnetron from 1 to 5…10 Hz.","PeriodicalId":54580,"journal":{"name":"Problems of Atomic Science and Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2023-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139008864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research was conducted using various plasma-forming gases (air, Ar, N2, CO2). Determination of plasma parameters was performed by plasma emission spectroscopy methods. It was shown that the plasma of both the rotating gliding discharge and the plasma of the secondary discharge supported by the gliding discharge are non-isothermal. The study of the physicochemical properties of the synthesis products was performed by adsorption, luminescence analysis, polarimetry, chromatographymass spectrometry and NMR methods. It was found that cyclopentadiene ligands of ferrocene disproportionate into saturated cyclic hydrocarbons (cyclopentane and pentane).
