Is focusing on a segment of active, wellnessconscious clients who follow a healthy diet, take care of both their physical and mental health and are aware of\u0000the benefits of a visit to a Spa. Attracting such educated and demanding clients who have above-average incomes\u0000and actively promoting quality Spa services would maintain the competitive advantage of Spas over other forms\u0000of relaxation on the market. The methodology used for this analysis is the quantitative research method and the\u0000research technique is the survey. The results indicate that 86% of the people who responded to the questionnaire\u0000noted that they felt better overall after their visit to a Spa. The results obtained are in line with the issues analysed\u0000in the specialized literature.

The\u0000main research methods for the present article were the comparative study of specialized literature, with coverage\u0000of the main publications dedicated to the chosen topic, and the survey done through a questionnaire, launched\u0000with the purpose of checking the level of knowledge of the gastronomy of Dobrogea among the consumers and to\u0000identify its characteristic elements in order to consider it as vector for the local gastronomic tourism. The results\u0000of our research have highlighted the fact that customers give a high importance to the culinary aspect when\u0000choosing a holiday destination, and that the local Dobrogean dishes, wines, desserts and the quality products\u0000which have received recognition at a European level are not sufficiently known by the general public. This fact is\u0000due, on one side, to the insufficient information given about the geographical origin of the products during the\u0000marketing and sale phase and, on the other side, to a general lack in promotion for Dobrogean products, especially\u0000in other regions of Romania and abroad.

One such measure was\u0000the introduction of the Covid-19 digital certificate for access to restaurants. This study aims to find out the opinion\u0000of young people about the feeling of health safety in public food establishments, as well as the opinion about the\u0000opportunity or barrier that arises from the use of the Covid-19 certificate. For this purpose, an online survey was\u0000conducted between October 14 and 20, 2021. For this study, university students and high school students were\u0000surveyed, the data being collected from 102 respondents, through a self-administered online questionnaire. The\u0000main objectives were to find out the level of knowledge of the Covid-19 digital certificate concept among young\u0000people, the feeling of health safety that the certificate generates among young people and the opinion about the\u0000opportunity or barrier that comes with its implementation. The results showed that all young people know the\u0000concept, but mainly tend to consider that the usage of the certificate doesn`t generate an environment with an\u0000increased health safety in the restaurant or do not have an idea yet formed on this subject. More than two-thirds\u0000of the young people surveyed consider the certificate to be more of a barrier than an opportunity for the restaurant\u0000activity. At the same time, it turned out that girls are more skeptical than boys about the impact on health safety\u0000generated by the implementation of the certificate. The main limitation of this study is that the sample was small\u0000and unrepresentative, but nevertheless some interesting results were obtained.

As a result, many countries that were not prepared for such a\u0000situation, in terms of infrastructure, had to abruptly adapt with the resources they had to their disposal at that\u0000time. For example, in Romania, most schools and universities moved their classes online via different online\u0000platforms, but students from rural areas were not able to attend school at all. The present study aims to evaluate\u0000students’ perceptions and difficulties regarding online (blended) learning compared to traditional classroom\u0000attendance with a main focus on the difficulties encountered in the process of learning economic subjects. We\u0000performed a quantitative research by implementing an online questionnaire which was sent out by the end of the\u0000second semester of 2020 – 2021 school year. The respondents were freshmen from The Bucharest University of\u0000Economic Studies, The Faculty of Business and Tourism, enrolled in October 2020. Being aware that the quality\u0000of their learning might be affected via blended learning, all these respondents agreed to take part into various\u0000optional activities provided by the means of the Secondary Education Project – ROSE BT. Therefore, the current\u0000study might offer an useful insight into difficulties encountered by these students and solutions provided by both\u0000teachers and the university as an institution interested into facilitating the online education process. Moreover,\u0000the results will show possible factors that may determine difficulties into understanding various economic subjects\u0000and students’ own motion for improving their situation.

The purpose of this study is to identify the interest of Romanian tourists to practice industrial\u0000tourism, based on assessing the degree of knowledge and their desire to visit industrial monuments. For this\u0000purpose, an online questionnaire was applied, the results of which were statistically interpreted using the\u0000Covariance Analysis (ANACOVA). Cladodes of Opuntia stricta [Haw.] Haw (Orelha de Elefante Mexicana [OEM] clone) and Nopalea cochenillifera Salm Dyck (IPA Sertânia [IPA] and Miúda [MIU] clones) were harvested at 6 am and extracted mucilage. The main bands in the infrared region were characterized. Physicochemical analyses were performed on day zero and at 12 days. Cladodes harvested in the dry season showed higher mucilage yield and soluble solid, total soluble carbohydrate, and K+, for the three clones. The OEM clone also exhibited significant increases in pH, Na+, and electrical conductivity when harvested in the dry season than in the wet season. In addition, the mucilage extracted from the Opuntia cladodes did not have changes in the carbohydrate, titratable acidity, or total soluble protein levels. The IPA and MIU clones, in turn, were characterized by parameters that remained stable during conservation (phenolic compounds, titratable acidity, K+ and Na+). The spectroscopic profile was similar for all studied clones. The principal component analysis allowed the formation of clusters between seasons and conservation times. It is suggested that the cladodes of the genus Nopalea showed better potential in the manufacture of edible films and coatings. The cladodes of the genus Opuntia, for the use of mucilage as ingredients in foods such as bread, pasta, and others, making them with better functional properties. Therefore, these factors should be considered for the use of mucilage in the industry.

A randomized block design was used in this experiment, with a 2× 4 × 2 factorial arrangement with five replications. The factors corresponded to two application frequencies of nitrogen fertilization (30 days and 30/60 days), four nitrogen doses (0, 100, 200, 400 kg ha-1 year-1), and two cactus pear cultivation localities, with Locality 1 corresponding to the municipality of Curimatá and Locality 2 corresponding to the municipality of Riacho Frio. After one year of cultivation, there was no interaction (P>0.05) for frequency × doses × locality, doses × locality, and frequency × doses. The means observed for fresh and dry matter production varied from 57.0 to 68.0±2.9 t ha-1 and from 2.4 to 3.7±0.2 t ha-1, respectively. There was an interaction (P<0.05) between frequency × locality for fresh matter production, dry matter production, water-use efficiency, water accumulation, and carrying capacity. For the chemical composition, there was an interaction (P<0.01) between frequency × dose for the mineral content matter. Fertilization splitting associated with the highest nitrogen application dose resulted in better performance for the cactus pear variety of Doce grown in the Brazilian savannah region.
