Zenin","doi":"10.51847/uc3zymyc0c","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.51847/uc3zymyc0c","url":null,"abstract":"The study aimed to conduct a 3D anatomical analysis of corrosive preparations to identify the sources of blood supply to the kidney segments in the most common variant of the division of the main renal artery, A. renalis (I). The authors have studied 116 corrosive preparations of the human kidney arterial system made of fast-hardening polymers. On 3D models, the authors have determined the number and topography of arterial segments in the kidney depending on the number of identified segmental arteries (as sources of arterial segments) in a 3D projection: a) with the magistral type of arterial branching; b) with the loose type of arterial branching. The study has shown that the sources of blood supply to the kidney segments and the number of segmental arteries supplying the segments, as well as the places of their discharge and topography, have their differences depending on both the variants of the division of the main renal artery and the types of branching of its intra-organ branches. Consequently, in the kidneys, depending on the types of intra-organ branching (magistral or loose) and the level of dior trichotomy, each specific segmental artery has its place, localization, source of discharge, and arterial basin, branching in the segments of the kidney. In one segment of the kidney, basins can be distributed on average (X ± m) from 1 to 3 segmental arteries, at p ≤ 0.05. It has been found that the polar and dorsal segments of the kidney more often have more segmental arteries.","PeriodicalId":54108,"journal":{"name":"Entomology and Applied Science Letters","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70835859","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

COVID-19 is an infection caused by a new coronavirus designated as SARS-CoV-2, which has rapidly spread worldwide. In this retrospective study, COVID-19 patients who were referred to Razi Hospital in Ahvaz from February 2020 to May 2020 were evaluated and analyzed using SPSS v.16.0. The relationship between the ABO blood group and COVID-19 was assessed using the Kruskal Wallis test and Spearman correlation coefficient. The frequencies of blood types O, AB, B, and A were 40.2, 11.8, 25.5, and 22.5%, respectively, Among the 8016 COVID-19 patients, the frequencies of blood types O, AB, B, and A were 41.9, 9.3, 25.7, and 23.1%, respectively, and no significant difference was observed in terms of the distribution of blood groups between the healthy and infected people (P = 0.34, 95% CI = 0.66-1.23). In addition, patients admitted to the ICU ward had blood groups of O, AB, B, and A, with a percentage of 21.3, 31.29, 33.6, and 35.3%, respectively. Furthermore, dead patients had A, B, AB, and O blood types with a percentage of 10.0, 11.4, 11.05, and 16.3%, respectively. A significant relationship was observed between the blood group and disease severity and death in COVID-19 patients (p=0.05, 95% CI = 1.02-1.73). The study showed that people with blood types A and O are at higher and lower risk of infection, severity, and death from COVID-19, respectively.","PeriodicalId":54108,"journal":{"name":"Entomology and Applied Science Letters","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70816922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this regard, the problem of ensuring the food security of the country is significantly actualized. Consequently, a justified assessment of the role and place of certain types of agricultural products in the development of food markets is required. Since the beginning of the 2000s, Russia has been gradually recovering the sphere of turkey meat production. This type of poultry product has high dietary and taste properties, is a source of high-quality proteins, and contains a large number of useful elements and vitamins. In this regard, the purpose of this paper is to assess the role and importance of turkey meat production in the total volume of poultry meat production as a whole and to develop, based on the data analysis, directions for the further progressive development of this sphere of agricultural production. The paper provides a comparative analysis of the indicators of the Russian turkey meat market with similar indicators of the poultry meat market as a whole, identifies the reasons for such a significant lag in the turkey breeding sector from the poultry industry in the country as a whole, and outlines the main directions for overcoming the critical situation in the sub-industry.","PeriodicalId":54108,"journal":{"name":"Entomology and Applied Science Letters","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70823772","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
