Les articles peuvent être rédigés en français et en anglais. Sur un fichier séparé, le titre de l'article doit être suivi du nom de l'auteur, de son rattachement institutionnel. Les auteurs veilleront à indiquer leurs coordonnées complètes, y compris leur adresse électronique, qui seront indiquées à la fin de chaque article. Sur ce fichier figureront obligatoirement les résumés en français et en anglais de 800 signes et blancs environ (pour les articles en anglais, prévoir un résumé en français plus étoffé, jusqu'à 2 000 signes). Les résumés doivent être accompagnés de mots clés. Sur le fichier principal, sans mention d'auteur, l'article proprement dit sera présenté, à la suite de son titre et de ses résumés. Pour les articles, le volume optimum est compris entre 40 000 et 50 000 signes (blancs inclus). La rédaction se réserve la possibilité de rejeter les articles dépassant 60 000 signes (pour une illustration d'une page, enlever 5000 signes environ). Lors de la première soumission, les figures sont intégrées à l'article, à leur place, avec numéro de figure, légende et crédits. Lors de la soumission finale, les figures seront adressées dans des fichiers séparés.","PeriodicalId":53669,"journal":{"name":"Theatre Research in Canada-Recherches Theatrales au Canada","volume":"95 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75897828","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When it does, racial prejudice tends to be presented in ways that absolve white Newfoundlanders of guilt while echoing Canadian nationalist sentiments that position racism, especially anti-black racism, outside the country’s borders (see Robert Chafe’s play Oil and Water). This kind of narrative oversimplifies Newfoundland’s complicated history, creating its own racist paradigms of ignorance that fail to acknowledge the institutional discrimination, international influences, and local prejudices that inform racial construction on the island.","PeriodicalId":53669,"journal":{"name":"Theatre Research in Canada-Recherches Theatrales au Canada","volume":"34 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77718616","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
