Therefore, a customized learning model for a learning media course needs to be developed to enhance learning effectiveness. The mobile-assisted project-based learning (PjBL) model was developed under the guidance of the Dick and Carey model to improve student learning outcomes in a learning media course. The validity test conducted for this model received a good score from expert validators, with an average score of 4.50 for usability and presentation, 4.56 for display, and 4.53 for language. The effectiveness test showed a high average n-gain of 0.83 in the one-to-one trial, 0.74 in the small group trial, and 0.73 in the large group trial. In addition, student feedback on the practicality of the mobile-assisted PjBL model was very good, with an average score of 4.31, or 86% of the ideal score. Based on these results, it is highly recommended to implement the mobile-supported PjBL model when teaching a learning media course.","PeriodicalId":53486,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134913498","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This quasi-experimental study involved the participation of 125 students who were divided into two groups: a control group consisting of 62 students and an experimental group comprising 63 students. Pre- and post-intrinsic motivation questionnaires and a nutritional knowledge test were administered. The results showed significant differences between the control group and the experimental group. The experimental group exhibited a higher level of knowledge, and there were no statistically significant differences in intrinsic motivation between the control group and the experimental group. The application was found to be effective in improving nutrition knowledge but did not enhance intrinsic motivation. Further research may be needed to understand the factors that influence intrinsic motivation and how to effectively increase it.","PeriodicalId":53486,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134913595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The metadata of 155 relevant publications was extracted from the Web of Science database and imported into “biblioshiny” for analysis. It was found that Education and Information Technologies has the highest publications, and Computers & Education is the most cited journal. Author analysis revealed that Shakeel Iqbal has the most articles fractionalized. Further, the most cited articles were published in the year 2012. The study revealed an exponential increase in research in the top producers, China and Turkey, since 2019. TAM was found to be the most popular theory among researchers. In addition, interest in self-determination theory has been growing recently. The studies examined limited subjects (language, mathematics, and science). The findings indicated several associated keywords, such as augmented reality, cyberloafing, and virtual reality. The thematic map revealed emerging (e.g., self-regulation), niche (e.g., literacy), motor (e.g., attitude), and basic (e.g., addiction) themes. Further, the conceptual structure map suggested the nuances of difference between the constructs of “intention” and “continuance intention.”","PeriodicalId":53486,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134913596","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, 5G technology helps with communication and network connectivity. This work integrates C-RAN with IoT networks to provide an experimental 5G testbed. In a 5G IoT environment, this experience is utilized to enhance both perpendicular and flat localization (3D localization). DRCaG, an acronym for the proposed model, stands for a deep, complicated network with a gated layer on top. The performance of the proposed model has been demonstrated through extensive simulations in terms of learning reduction, accuracy, and matrix disorientation, with a variable signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) spanning from 20 dB to + 20 dB, which illustrates the superiority of DRCaG compared to others. An online, end-to-end solution based on deep learning techniques is presented in this study for the fast, precise, reliable, and automatic detection of diverse petty crime types. By detecting tiny crimes like hostility, bag snatching, and vandalism, the suggested system may not only identify unusual passenger behavior like vandalism and accidents but also improve passenger security. The solution performs admirably in a variety of use cases and environmental settings.","PeriodicalId":53486,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134913601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, scaffolding self-regulated learning in a relatively complex subject such as statistics is still understudied. The present study addresses this matter by observing university students’ engagement in scaffolding self-regulated learning in a statistics course focusing on their scaffolding responses, resources contribution and target achievements. It was an exploratory case study with the participation of 26 private university students who are enrolled in the fifth semester as their third-year studies. The results indicate that university students are aware of statistics learning goals but overtargeting achievements, as they were less likely to achieve their decided targets. Students prefer to write a self-reflection than take notes. The different duration of watching videos and reading modules does not vary in quiz performance. The current findings add a novel understanding that self-regulated statistics learning requires advanced scaffolds to promote higher outcomes because of its characteristics as a complex and abstract subject.","PeriodicalId":53486,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134913718","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the stringent privacy demands associated with mobile IoT data pose significant challenges for its implementation in machine learning tasks. In order to address this challenge, we propose privacy-preserving federated learning framework (P2FLF) in a mobile fog computing environment. By employing federated learning, it is possible to bring together numerous dispersed user sets and collectively train models without the need to upload datasets. Federated learning, an approach to distributed machine learning, has garnered significant attention for its ability to enable collaborative model training without the need to share sensitive data. By utilizing fog nodes deployed at the edge of the network, P2FLF ensures that sensitive mobile IoT data remains local and is not transmitted to the central server. The framework integrates privacy-preserving methods, such as differential privacy and encryption, to safeguard the data throughout the learning process. We evaluate the performance and efficacy of P2FLF through experimental simulations and compare it with existing approaches. The results demonstrate that P2FLF strikes a balance between model accuracy and privacy protection while enabling efficient federated learning in mobile IoT environments.","PeriodicalId":53486,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134913720","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there is a lack of conceptual research on digital storytelling in higher education. This study aims to assess the trends of digital storytelling in higher education through bibliometric analysis. The PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses) procedure was used to extract data from the Scopus and Web of Science databases. A thorough review was conducted to classify and rank the relevant literature on digital storytelling in higher education. The result shows that research on digital storytelling in higher education is increasing annually, but there are significant regional and disciplinary gaps at the higher education level. The main findings of this study are helpful for practitioners and researchers to understand better the current state of research on digital storytelling in higher education and to provide directions for future research.","PeriodicalId":53486,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies","volume":"214 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134913592","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For example, deep convolutional neural networks (DCNNs) are constantly gaining new features in various tasks in computer vision. At the same time, the number of end devices, including Internet of Things (IoT) devices has increased prominently. These devices are attractive targets for machine learning applications because they are often directly connected to sensors. For example (cameras, microphones, and gyroscopes) that record large amounts of input data in a stream mode. This study presents the design of a DDNN with end devices, edges, and clouds that spans computer hierarchies. The idea presented is considered one of the new ideas because it depends on two layers to distinguish, namely the convolutional layer and the pooling layer. The main objective behind using these two layers in one proposal is to provide and obtain the best results. Finally, we discovered that the proposed technique produced the best results in terms of accuracy and cost, with the precision of the definition reaching 99 % and the cost being quite affordable at 25. As a result, we conclude that these results are far superior to those achieved by the researchers in their ideas provided in previous recent literature.","PeriodicalId":53486,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134913604","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The definition of appropriate user interfaces (UIs) is complicated by the absence of standards and the growing complexity of interaction opportunities. Several educators have discussed the advantages of XR for students as well as the use of AR and VR in the laboratory. Utilizing AR and VR to create immersive learning experiences is challenging since it takes time and effort to construct instructional AR and VR tools, apps, or educational settings. Because of this, even though these new technologies are said to help today’s students, their implementation in education may be postponed or stopped. In this research, the usage of XR technologies in education has been investigated through the examination of websites, technical papers, reports, and mobile app stores. This research study proposes a collision detection algorithm (CDA) utilizing machine learning. In order to aid in the identification of the meeting of two objects in the virtual environment, the collision detection method is employed in applications that support augmented reality and simulated reality technologies. In this study, mean, standard deviation and error parameters were utilized to analyze competitions that were related to augmented reality and virtual reality.","PeriodicalId":53486,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134913486","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The availability of complementary details about health, ailments, complications, and the most recent advancements in biomedical research are all included. Diagnostic and medical services are now becoming more available and accessible, especially in low-income countries. Regarding digital health technology, there are still a lot of challenges that need to be overcome, such as dependability, safety, testing, and ethical concerns. We propose that mobile technology should enhance rather than replace the psychiatrist-patient connection in the existing environment of inadequate regulatory oversight and scientific research to lessen possible clinical and moral harm to patients at risk. We identify potential areas of moral conflict between consumer-driven mobile businesses and healthcare practice and create a decision tree model for putting ethical safeguards in place. Informed consent, confidentiality, and shared treatment expectations are the main areas of attention for this paradigm when it comes to risk management in the therapeutic partnership. To comprehend the utility, capacity, and limitations, this study covers recent breakthroughs in mobile technologies, their applications, and a comparative analysis of their performance metrics. Understanding the weaknesses of current technologies can facilitate the creation of new frameworks with increased performance capabilities and superior service quality.","PeriodicalId":53486,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies","volume":"145 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134913606","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
