Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode CFD. Material pelat dan pipa kolektor adalah tembaga dengan ukuran pelat 760 x 760 mm dan tebal 3 mm, diameter pipa adalah 8 mm, variasi jarak pipa spiral yang dipilih yaitu 25, 50 dan 75 mm. Fluida kerja yang digunakan adalah air dengan temperatur masuk 30oC dan laju aliran massa 0.015 kg/s, pada bagian atas permukaan kolektor diberi heat flux sebesar 825 W/m2.  Simulasi dilakukan dengan kondisi steady state. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kolektor spiral jarak susunan pipa absorber 25 mm menghasilkan nilai pressure drop terbesar yaitu 3927 Pa dan terendah terjadi pada kolektor spiral jarak susunan pipa absorber 75 mm yaitu  sebesar 1603 Pa, temperatur keluar air tertinggi dihasilkan pada kolektor spiral 25 mm yaitu sebesar 35,124oC sementara temperatur keluar air terendah terjadi pada kolektor spiral 75 mm yaitu sebesar 34,824oC. Material untuk alat kesehatan dapat disebut dengan biomaterial suatu disiplin ilmu Teknik Material dan Metalurgi. Biomaterial mencakup ilmu kedokteran, ilmu dasar (biologi, kimia dan fisika) dan ilmu teknik (mesin, elektro dan material). Biomaterial dapat diartikan suatu material untuk membuat berbagai alat kesehatan dan berinteraksi dengan sistim biologi. Biomaterial banyak digunakan sebagai implan dan devices (surgical implants and devices) untuk memperbaiki (to repair), mengganti (to replace), mendukung (to support) dan atau mengembalikan (to restore) fungsi organ tubuh secara aman. Biomaterial dapat berupa implan permanen atau implan sementara berupa scaffold. Biomaterial pengganti (scaffold) bagi sel atau jaringan di sekitarnya untuk merangsang, tumbuh, dan membimbing regenerasi jaringan baru. Setelah perbaikan dan penyembuhan jaringan selesai kemudian scaffold terdegradasi in vivo secara klinis dan biomekanik, sehingga tidak memerlukan operasi kedua untuk pengangkatan, biomaterial biodegradable harus mendukung proses regenerasi dan perbaikan jaringan dengan dukungan mekanis dan tidak beracun. PLA merupakan biopolimer yang sering digunakan sebagai biomaterial selain dari sifat biodegradable dan biocompatible karena propertiesnya yang baik digunakan sebagai scaffold. Penggunaan PLA atau biokomposit PLA banyak diaplikasikan sebagai bahan pengganti sementara atau scaffold pada tissue engineering seperti skin, tendon, ligamen, cartilage, arteri, aorta dan lain-lain. Perkembangan teknologi dibidang disipilin ilmu teknik metalurgi, fisika-kimia, biologi dan medis. Penggunaan polimer khususnya PLA dan biokompositnya telah berkembang dibidang tissue engineering dan alat kesehatan, untuk implan hard tissue masih dalam proses pengembangan. Biogas from cow dung generally has a concentration of 50-70% CH4 as a substance that can be used as fuel, accompanied by 25-50% CO2, 0.3-3% N2, 1-5% H2, and H2S. The presence of accompanying substances, especially CO2, which has no calorific value (cannot be burned), can reduce the overall calorific value of biogas. One way to separate the CO2 gas is by adsorption. However, at a small column capacity, the adsorbent is often saturated quickly after being operated for a certain time. One way to get around this is to make the adsorbent into a more compact form, such as pellets. By combining granular and pellet activated carbon, this study wanted to identify the effect of variations to produce the best biogas composition and compare its performance when scaled up. The results showed that mixture A (70% granular activated carbon and 30% pellet) produced the best biogas, namely 83.1% in the initial column and 89.3% in the scale up column, with CO2 impurities removed and a small amount of other gases. The absorption performance in the form of adsorption effectiveness showed that each variation showed 100% effectiveness. The breakthrough curve shows that mixture C (30% granular activated carbon and 70% pellet) gave the highest resistance for 7 minutes on the initial column and 10 minutes on the scale up column. The volume of biogas that was adsorbed, the volume of biogas/column height, and the total amount of remove solute were best indicated by mixture A with 72 Liters, 180 Liters/m, and 8,208 Liters in the initial column, and 159 Liters, 212 Liters/m, respectively. and 21,942 Liters in the scale up column. Sistem pemeliharaan yang diterapkan oleh perusahaan pembangkit listrik tenaga uap akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap keberlangsungan listrik yang dihasilkan. Pembangkit listrik tenaga uap memiliki beberapa bagian utama dalam sistem produksinya, salah satunya adalah turbin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab bagaimana perawatan turbin uap di Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) Rembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan pihak yang bersangkutan dibagian perawatan turbin uap. Proses pembentukan tersebut dikenal sebagai 3D printing, yang memungkinkan untuk menciptakan suatu model atau prototipe yang lebih kompleks menjadi lebih mudah. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengaruh parameter kecepatan gerak nozel terhadap ketelitian dimensi dan kekasaran permukaan produk hasil cetak mesin 3D printer berbentuk kurva. Model didesain dalam bentuk kurva agar efek tangga (staircase effect) dapat terlihat dengan jelas, sehingga dapat dibandingkan perubahannya pada setiap kecepatan nozel yang berbeda. Benda yang sudah didesain pada perangkat lunak Catia kemudian diatur beberapa parameternya untuk pencetakan dengan perangkat lunak pengiris yaitu Ultimaker Cura (versi 4.8.0). Perbedaan parameter kecepatan dan penambahan support (pendukung) diatur pada perangkat lunak ini. Kemudian hasil kostumisasi tersebut akan disimpan dalam format GCode File. Parameter kecepatan yang diuji dalam penelitian ini 30mm/detik, 40 mm/detik, 50 mm/detik, 60 mm/detik, dan 70 mm/detik. Masing-masing GCode File dengan kecepatan yang berbeda akan dicetak sebanyak 5 kali. Setiap cetakan akan mempunyai hasil yang berbeda. Maka dari itu dilakukan analisa kelelahan pada shaft guna meminimalisir kecelakaan mengingat shaft bekerja sepanjang berjalannya kapal. Bahan yang digunakan dalam analisa adalah baja tahan karat austenitik atau baja kromium-nikel dengan kandungan nikel diatas 8%. Pengamatan dilaksanakan melalui metode pendekatan kepustakaan terhadap berbagai literatur terkait Analisis Fatigue Failure pada Shaft Propeller sebagai Instrumen Utama Penggerak Kapal. Getaran aksial dari sistem propulsi dapat menyebabkan getaran paksa. Kerusakan akibat getaran torsional dan aksial paling sering menyebabkan gurat, deformasi, dan patah. Hal terburuk yang akan terjadi dalam proses kegagalan shaft adalah fracture akibat pembebanan secara kontinyu dan diikuti dengan kemunculan crack pada permukaan shaft dan akhirnya shaft tidak dapat menahan tegangan yang dialami hingga mengalami fracture menjadi dua bagian atau lebih. In this study, the engine cooling system observed was located at the Diesel Power Plant (PLTD), Batakan. The cooling system on the engine has several important components that affect performance, one of which is the radiator. The condition of the radiator is observed with different fin designs, namely ideal conditions with fins (100%), 75%, and 50%. KDF helps to provide a detailed analysis of the performance of the engine cooling system. Under ideal conditions, the value of the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet in high temperature (HT) and low temperature (LT) pipes is 220C. The needs of living things for drinking water are very many, not only needed by humans but also needed by animals and plants. To produce good and quality drinking water in accordance with health standards that have been set by the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 492 / MENKES / PER / IV2010, a proper water treatment process is needed. This research activity is aimed at designing a filtration device that is able to process dirty water into clean ready-to-drink water using reverse osmosis (RO) technology. The parameters tested are biological, physical, and chemical parameters in accordance with the requirements for good drinking water set by Permenkes No. 492 of 2010. This study used 3 water source samples to be tested, namely: the first sample was a relatively clear and odorless water sample but the bacteria content was above the standard, the second sample was turbid but odorless water, while the third sample was odorous water. After going through the filtration process with the tool made, ready-to-drink water is able to be produced with the condition that the bacterial level (total coliform) drops from 200/100ml to 0/100ml. In addition, the turbidity level also dropped from 8 NTU to 0 NTU, and the water condition also changed from smelly to odorless.
