We maintain that business decisions significantly influenced research and development; however, pharma decisions did not always align with physiology and clinical interests. Specifically, the never-ending debate on the issue of luteinizing hormone (LH) supplementation during ovarian stimulation was repeatedly studied using population-based randomized controlled trials. However, LH activity supplementation is an endocrine issue and therefore, specific endocrine inclusion/exclusion criteria should be used when assessing the needs or not for LH in our “every-day” patients. We propose that the approach until now has defocused the research question and thus, also the debate and that there is a need to revisit physiology and clinical thinking if the LH supplementation issue is to be unravelled.","PeriodicalId":53255,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Clinical and Experimental Investigations","volume":"59 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74656359","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The reliable detection of the virus is important to prevent transmission of the virus. RT-PCR is a gold standard method for the diagnosis of the disease used at all over the world. The highest number of sample size (1,461,258 patient sample) and differing results are reported with our study regarding the PCR positivity rates. Method/Study Design: The study was aimed to evaluate the positivity and negativity of the patients with RT-PCR from all the samples studied between March 25, 2020 and March 25, 2021, when the pandemic was declared and started to be seen in Turkey, and to investigate its contribution to the total test capacity of our country. Results/Conclusions: 1,461,258 patient is observed, and this frequency male is 58% and female is 42% of the population. The maximum number of admissions is noticed during the Autumn-2020 involved age ranged from 25 to 35. 14.6% positive result is got while the 85.4% negative result is observed. When the age distribution of COVID-19 (+) patients is evaluated, COVID-19 (+) rate is highest in the 6-15 age range, followed by the 66-75 age range and the highest COVID-19 (+) rate are November and October, respectively. Additionally, the highest COVID-19 (+) rate is in Autumn. According to the test results, it was determined that 7.5% of the male participants were COVID-19 (+) and 7.1% of the female participants were COVID-19 (+).","PeriodicalId":53255,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Clinical and Experimental Investigations","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41832456","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study provides an insight into the scenario of the country during each wave along with the regulations enforced to combat it and it will help the national policy makers to mitigate the loss during any future wave. Main body: Lockdowns were imposed in many phases but despite all these measures, people were reluctant to follow health guidelines, which worsened the situation. These extended restrictions hampered the country’s economy, people’s mental health, and the academic life of the students. To fight such a situation, alternative steps like stringent area-based lockdowns, imposing immediate restrictions, and ensuring compulsory quarantine for people coming from other countries can be taken. People need to be encouraged to follow health guidelines, wear masks, get vaccinated otherwise restrictions alone will not be enough to assist the country to overcome the loss during pandemic. Short conclusion: The identification of the transmitting path, as well as the conduct of contact tracing, must be constantly monitored. Strict legislation, along with people’s spontaneous inclination to obey health norms, can help the country overcome the epidemic and establish a positive outcome.","PeriodicalId":53255,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Clinical and Experimental Investigations","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49157595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
