Theoretical approach: Previous studies have shown that consumers are concerned about privacy but feel uncertain about the consequences of their online behaviors. Drawing upon signaling theory applied to consumer behavior, we analyzed the influence of privacy signals on purchasing intention. Method: We employed a quantitative methodology comprising a descriptive study and four experimental studies. Results: Cookie acceptance positively affects purchasing intention only when consumers accept cookie collection and have a need for the product, resulting in a greater perception of benefits. Risks do not exhibit significance in this process. However, providing more information on data collection proves advantageous as it increases purchasing intention, even for those who do not accept cookies. Conclusions: We contribute to signaling theory by demonstrating that the product need is a determining factor for cookie acceptance. Marco teórico: teoria da identidade, em que se define a identidade como um conceito autorreflexivo que permite a um indivíduo conhecer e compreender a si mesmo em meio às especificidades culturais, sociais e organizacionais. Método: estudo qualitativo básico realizado com o auxílio de entrevistas semiestruturadas concedidas por mulheres inseridas em organizações do Poder Legislativo brasileiro e análise de conteúdo. Resultados: os principais resultados demonstraram que a identidade de mulheres atuantes na política forma-se gradativamente, contudo, essa construção é permeada por tentativas de invalidações desde a intenção de candidatura. As invalidações por meio de microagressões perpassam o contexto organizacional e, por estarem presentes em maior escala, destacam o que se pontua como macroagressões. Conclusões: O estudo contribui à literatura ao propor o conceito de macroagressões. Marco teórico: embasa-se na discussão sobre divisão sexual do trabalho, dinâmica de conciliação entre espaço público e privado, tripla jornada e inserção da mulher no mercado laboral, a partir das problemáticas enfrentadas por elas. Método: utilizou-se da abordagem qualitativa do tipo descritiva, com realização de 23 entrevistas semiestruturadas. Resultados: os achados apontam que ter seu próprio negócio em casa acarreta uma falsa impressão de flexibilidade para as mulheres; a rotina laboral das proprietárias é exaustiva e com acúmulo das atividades produtiva e reprodutiva imbricadas no mesmo espaço, gerando tripla jornada e condições precárias de trabalho; a emancipação financeira das mulheres que atuam na confecção ocorre a partir da (re)organização das suas funções no próprio ambiente privado do lar, divergindo da literatura que relaciona sua autonomia ao ingresso no ambiente público do mercado laboral; e a informalidade, típica da região, favorece a entrada das entrevistadas no setor de confecções, mas as priva de acesso à seguridade social. Theoretical approach: starting from a Marxian perspective, we believe that debates about the productivity of reproductive work should overcome analyzes based on the immediacy of this work and apprehend the determinants that involve the absorption of work by capital as productive, reproductive or unproductive work. Methods: we collected secondary statistical data provided by IBGE, Sebrae and the British Cleaning Council, the analysis was based on historical materialism. Results: we demonstrate that capital has productively appropriated reproductive work, however, such appropriation has not meant changing the conditions of sexual division of labor and women's exhaustion. Tese: a partir dos conceitos de reprodução social e capitalismo dependente, apontamos como mesmo antes desta crise sanitária mundial, a sobrecarga de trabalhos, dentro e fora do espaço doméstico, já era uma realidade para mulheres brasileiras. Sugerimos que a superexploração, essencial ao capitalismo dependente, implica a intensificação crescente do tempo de trabalho de mulheres trabalhadoras brasileiras, ao mesmo tempo que a dependência nos relega a tarefa de reprodução social interna e externa no capitalismo mundializado. Theoretical approach: I also incorporate dialogue with black feminist thinkers to explore the intertwined intersections in autobiographical narratives. I highlight the concept of outsider whitin to reflect experiences of less privileged groups, who come up against paradigms established by a more influential community of insiders. In this movement, I shatter images that produce apathetic identities, enabling them to position themselves in the face of social dynamics. Method: to do this, I use Conceição Evaristo's theoretical operator Escrevivência to revisit memories and reveal, through a transactional dialogue, productions located in the knowledge of black women. Results: in addition, I instigate reflections, acceptance, and representation of all peoples, addressing not only personal drama but also community history. We understand exhaustion as a consequence of historical and daily battles for gender equality, aggravated by the burden of reproductive work. Thus, even when exhausted, we accepted this challenge out of the conviction of the political role necessary to open spaces in the face of a masculine logic of science production. This editorial was structured based on recognizing the importance of producing, identifying, and living with the challenges necessary to disrupt oppression. These challenges come in the form of (1) bringing together female editors, authors, and reviewers from different regions, academic backgrounds, and diverse representations; (2) time, which revealed itself as an instrument of domination and gender violence; (3) the operationalization of the contradiction in producing an edition exclusively for women, considering the male logic of practicing science. This edition should be read as a pedagogical instrument to visualize the challenges experienced, and it is a call for collective responsibility in the fight to create space in everyday life, specifically in the academic field. Theoretical approach: by exploring both technical and subjective attributes, this study provides valuable insights for advertisers to enhance their video performance. It farsighted to study the attributes that motivate the sharing video ads behavior using the characteristics present in the videos altogether. Method: the research employed a multi-method approach. The qualitative study analyzed 35 YouTube ads to identify potential attributes for evoking sharing behavior. Subsequently, an experimental study was conducted based on the derived qualitative propositions. Result: the propositions produced the attributes: narrative, purpose, interaction, real characters, celebrities, technical themes, humor, and market. With them, we formed 16 bundles, converted into ad visual scripts analyzed by a conjoint. Conclusions: the study highlighted that congruency of service announcements from service companies, addressing real problems with non-technical themes, have the highest potential for sharing, while ads focusing on technical topics with elements of humor performed poorly. Marco teórico: a pesquisa baseia-se nos estudos das infraestruturas pensantes de mercado, incorporadas recentemente ao campo de marketing. Método: utilizaram-se duas técnicas para coleta de dados: (a) entrevistas semiestruturadas e em profundidade com 27 agentes do mercado da moda modesta e (b) observação não participante no Instagram. Resultados: o Instagram oferece uma infraestrutura que medeia e padroniza as interações entre os atores do mercado, permitindo a construção e a popularização do mercado da moda modesta, outrora estigmatizado. A infraestrutura do Instagram estabelece regras que ditarão o sucesso (ou poder exercido) das usuárias (agentes de mercado) na rede e, consequentemente, no mercado. Embora não seja possível efetuar as transações monetárias no Brasil pelo Instagram, ele oferece variados dispositivos materiais que incentivam a realização das trocas econômicas. Conclusões: este estudo contribui com a literatura de infraestruturas pensantes de mercado, na medida em que apresenta como a padronização arquitetada para ‘neutralizar o poder de agência da rede’ nas ações dos usuários pode ter efeito contrário, (re)afirmando os elementos políticos e simbólicos que a cercam. Results: findings point out that having their own business at home generates a false impression of flexibility for women; the owners’ work routine is exhaustive and with the accumulation of productive and reproductive activity intertwined in the same space, generating triple shifts and precarious working conditions; the financial emancipation of women who work in clothing occurs from the (re)organization of their functions in the private environment of the home, diverging from the literature that relates their autonomy to entering the public environment of the labor market; and informality, typical of the region, favors the entry of the interviewees into the clothing sector, but deprives them of access to social security.
