Thus, reviewing a brief examination of recent theories of news production and consumption, this proposal describes the transmedia ideals, logics, and values for journalism, and explores how transmedia storytelling addresses the need to ensure the continued relevance of journalism. We test the ideals, logics and values and refine the evolving features and strategies employed by legacy media internationally through case study analysis, complemented with interviews with transmedia producers and previous works carried on within NewsNet research project (2019-2023).","PeriodicalId":53242,"journal":{"name":"Hipertextnet","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41318318","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Esta estrategia docente tiene por objetivo reducir el flujo del alumnado en las aulas, al mismo tiempo que asegura la oferta de clases presenciales. La mitad de las personas matriculadas se conectaban a clase desde sus hogares, mientras la otra mitad asistía al aula presencialmente. Estos turnos se iban alternando semanalmente. El objetivo del estudio es analizar las dificultades, los errores y los aciertos en la adaptación de la docencia al contexto de la enseñanza bimodal. Se ha optado por una metodología cualitativa, dividida en dos fases de actuación. En primer lugar, se realizó Focus Group con profesorado de los tres grados de comunicación y posteriormente se confeccionó una encuesta que fue remitida quienes imparten sus clases de forma bimodal. Este tipo de docencia pretende ser un híbrido entre la estrategia presencial y la virtual, y obtener los beneficios de ambas. Sin embargo, mantener los dos focos de atención y satisfacer las necesidades que surgen en ambos contextos es un reto difícil. Existe un alto grado de preocupación por cuestiones relacionadas con la adaptación de las asignaturas a este tipo de enseñanza, y principalmente, por la pérdida de interacción con el alumnado.","PeriodicalId":53242,"journal":{"name":"Hipertextnet","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47967293","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Tratamos en particular del uso de ChatGPT, un modelo de lenguaje desarrollado por la empresa OpenAI que emplea técnicas de procesamiento de lenguaje natural (NLP) para generar respuestas coherentes y naturales en tiempo real. Este artículo describe cómo esta inteligencia artificial puede estar cambiando la manera en la que se hace ciencia, y más concretamente, cómo puede afectar al menos a algunos diseños de la investigación, la recopilación de datos y la escritura de artículos científicos. Asimismo, se identifican oportunidades, desafíos y limitaciones de la aplicación de ChatGPT como herramienta para la aplicación de métodos de investigación a partir de ejemplos existentes. Finalmente, se proporcionan recomendaciones prácticas centradas en un uso honesto, íntegro y transparente de la IA. Por último, se reclama que los investigadores sustenten estos principios apoyándose tanto en la ética como en el pensamiento crítico.","PeriodicalId":53242,"journal":{"name":"Hipertextnet","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43840608","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The starting point of this critique is the analysis of ‘artificial intelligence’ as a metaphor that hide and mystifies fundamental differences between human and AI textual functions. This metaphor reduces intelligence to its computational and instrumental aspects and establishes instrumental rationality as a normative model for human intelligence. Contra these implications, I argue the case for the revaluation of meaning-making and textual functions of intelligence as an adaptive response to the problem of death which is uniquely human. These functions are politically relevant because human texts are the tools for the transformation of the subjective experience of life and death into the intersubjective sense of reality. To delegate these functions to advanced forms of computational technology is tempting but risky because the expurgation of subjectivity and, more broadly, the suppression of the dilemmas constituting the human conditions, weakens fundamental evolutionary competences, enhance the oppressive potential of instrumental reason and leads to the unfreedom of the post-political condition.","PeriodicalId":53242,"journal":{"name":"Hipertextnet","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69321307","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Con el surgimiento de los modelos de aprendizaje profundo (deep learning) e inteligencia artificial (IA), se abren nuevas posibilidades de exploración en el montaje cinematográfico, transformando significativamente los procesos de edición y proponiendo nuevas metodologías de trabajo. Este artículo analiza cómo la implementación de sistemas basados en IA puede automatizar procesos, mejorar la eficiencia en la producción cinematográfica y abrir nuevas vías de experimentación y creación artística. Se exploran casos de estudio en la comprensión y generación de contenido audiovisual, como el proyecto experimental Blink de Adobe, el proyecto de generación de vídeo destacado de momentos fotogénicos y la propuesta de edición en el espacio latente. Además, se discute cómo la incorporación de interfaces generosas puede permitir una interacción más intuitiva y natural con el material audiovisual en el ámbito del montaje cinematográfico. Por último, se examina el potencial de modelos de generación automática de videos, como Phenaki de Google y Gen de Runway, en la expansión de la lógica del montaje hacia prácticas generativas y la creación de contenidos faltantes o pertinentes para las obras audiovisuales.","PeriodicalId":53242,"journal":{"name":"Hipertextnet","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44417251","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The central concept is, in our opinion, that of originality and creativity, legal requirements for attributing authorship and setting in motion the mechanisms of legal protection for a work, be it simple or collaborative, or even composite. The type of work that raises most questions is the derivative work, obtained from the transformation of pre-existing work(s), whose rights of authorship and economic exploitation must be respected at all times. The practices of learning systems based on artificial intelligence, which explicitly recognise that they rely on a wide variety of works protected by copyright, pose many doubts, and are not clearly able to benefit from the fair use exception, which, moreover, is only applicable to works produced in Common law jurisdictions, but not in other countries with an authorial system of intellectual property protection.","PeriodicalId":53242,"journal":{"name":"Hipertextnet","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48165357","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A set of specific categories were developed: self-identification, uses and limitations, validation tests, additional experimentation and metrics, transparency, structuring, precision, variety and updating, all of which were used in the experiment to test the proposed methodology. Esta forma de relacionarse con las imágenes requiere una serie de competencias asociadas a la alfabetización visual. Este estudio analiza la competencia de las personas para detectar imágenes creadas por algoritmos mediante Stable Diffusion. Se ha realizado un estudio comparativo con 132 individuos, seleccionados mediante muestreo discrecional según su familiaridad con el universo transmedia de J.R.R. Tolkien, para determinar si su conocimiento previo del imaginario de una imagen condiciona su capacidad para detectar su origen. Los resultados muestran que los menores de 25 años poseen mejores habilidades de alfabetización visual, independientemente de su familiaridad con la imagen. Se concluye que es necesario mejorar la alfabetización visual de los mayores de 25 años para que puedan identificar y evaluar críticamente este tipo de imágenes, especialmente en los casos de uso indebido.","PeriodicalId":53242,"journal":{"name":"Hipertextnet","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43289029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Repasando ejemplos surgidos de plataformas de consumo audiovisual como YouTube y Twitch, y de redes sociales como Twitter, el objetivo es describir como las narrativas audiovisuales basadas en inteligencia artificial poseen un vínculo que se presenta paradójico, al ser reconocidas como pastiches que recrean la idea de la cancelación del futuro. Limitándose a la imitación intertextual de estilos visuales de décadas anteriores, consagrados en el cine y la televisión, los contenidos analizados no realizan innovaciones desde el lenguaje y la narración audiovisual, sino que se enmarcan en una combinación de estéticas que remiten un pasado cultural retro y nostálgico sin ningún tipo de finalidad crítica. Desde este curioso vínculo, basado únicamente en la copia de artefactos culturales precedentes, estas narrativas populares abandonan la promesa de innovación y novedad de la inteligencia artificial, instalándose en un espacio de significación que recurre a la imitación del pasado como estética de consumo digital actual. \u0000 ","PeriodicalId":53242,"journal":{"name":"Hipertextnet","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43297726","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
