In this context, data were collected from 832 participants using an online survey. Exploratory factor and correlation analyses were performed on the collected data, and the research model was tested using structural equation modelling. According to the results of the analysis, both coping strategies and defence mechanisms have an effect on risky investment intention, and self-confidence has a mediating role in this relationship. This study is unique because it explores the effects of both conscious and unconscious processes on financial decisions.","PeriodicalId":53215,"journal":{"name":"FIIB Business Review","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.6,"publicationDate":"2023-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41614173","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

And, to achieve this objective, proactive personality of an employee characterized by ability to voice and ability to take initiative can prove fruitful in stimulating the engagement level. Based on the premise, this study aims to examine the relationship between proactive personality and employee engagement. Also, it intends to find novel progress in this area by investigating the mediating role of employee voice between proactive personality and employee engagement. For this, data were collected from 220 Indian service sector employees, which were then analysed using the SPSS (Version 20) and the Jamovi (Version 1.8.4.0) software. Particularly, the analysis comprised confirmatory factor analysis, followed by multiple regression and mediation analysis. The results revealed that proactive personality and employee engagement were significantly related, with employee voice partially mediating this relationship. These findings imply that as proactive employees are more like to raise their voice and provide valuable suggestions and ideas, and such proactive nature of theirs ultimately helps in augmenting their engagement towards their work.","PeriodicalId":53215,"journal":{"name":"FIIB Business Review","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.6,"publicationDate":"2023-07-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47892327","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Simulating a business model in a laboratory helps one to understand the operational and strategic aspects of firms quickly, reliably and cost-effectively, enabling them to develop new financial and operational strategies. Not many studies have focused on antecedents of the business model simulation and their consequences. Therefore, the aim of this study is to determine the antecedents and consequences of business model simulation and to further analyse the moderating effects of leadership support. A theoretical model is proposed that takes inputs from the literature and resource-based view and dynamic capability theories. The partial least squares–structural equation modelling technique tested the model by analysing the quantified responses of 327 respondents. This study finds that business model simulation is significantly impacted by firms’ competitive intensity, innovative activities and technology strategy. The study also demonstrates that leadership support moderates the relationship between business model simulation and actual business practices. The study contributes that business model simulation, which is affected by salient predictors, can impact firm performance when mediated through actual business process and practices and with the moderating effects of leadership support.","PeriodicalId":53215,"journal":{"name":"FIIB Business Review","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.6,"publicationDate":"2023-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43292289","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our research aims to develop a systematic literature review, in which we will study the relationship between entrepreneurial ecosystems and digital transformation, at the micro, meso and macro levels. For this, we used the Web of Science to collect our database, and we analysed 73 articles that were included in our study for their purpose. In our analysis, we were able to identify the characteristics of the environments of entrepreneurial ecosystems, the actions of digital technology approaches to digital transformation and the necessary skills in the scenario of entrepreneurship. Thus, we proposed a conceptual model with the presentation of the relationship between entrepreneurial ecosystems and digital transformation, which may be useful in future studies. The greatest contribution of our investigation is the offer of this systematization to this field of study, allowing us to see the different paths of investigation.","PeriodicalId":53215,"journal":{"name":"FIIB Business Review","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.6,"publicationDate":"2023-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42188139","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hence there is a need to comprehend the underlying critical success factors that play a crucial role in the mass adoption of Payments bank. Further, to make Payments bank a standard digital payment option, converting imprecise information acquired from the respondents into key business insights is required. Hence, the present study aims to explore and prioritize the key factors responsible for the adoption of Payments bank. The study used the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process on the sample obtained from the northern region of India to identify the structure of the pertinent concerns and determine the criteria and sub-criteria of Payments bank services. Results of the study postulated that ease of use and facilitating conditions are the most prioritized factors. At the same time, personalization is ranked as the least preferred factor among all the factors. The present study sample is limited to a few parts of India, so generalizations of results should be made with caution. However, the current study strengthens the literature on Payments bank as it is one of the early studies in this area. Further, the insights generated by the study will help marketers and policymakers to pay broader attention to key parameters responsible for the success of Payments bank.","PeriodicalId":53215,"journal":{"name":"FIIB Business Review","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.6,"publicationDate":"2023-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42797753","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They enable banks to boost customer engagement and improve operational efficiency by lowering the traditional cost of customer support. This study analyses the impact of perceived service quality dimensions on user confirmation, satisfaction and use continuance. The present study also analyses the moderating effect of perceived risk on the relationship between user confirmation, satisfaction and chatbots use continuance. A total of 447 customers, all residing in the Indian city of Bengaluru and having recently used banking chatbot services, were surveyed. Partial least squares structural equation modelling is used to examine the relationships between the variables used in the study. Findings from the study show that all five chatbot service quality dimensions (reliability, interactivity, assurance, responsiveness and understandability) significantly impact the user’s post-use confirmation, influencing their satisfaction and continuance behaviour. Perceived risk negatively moderates the relationship between user confirmation and user satisfaction. Chatbot service developers and e-service providers can leverage these findings to understand user expectations from chatbots. They will also be helpful to other service sectors, such as insurance, travel and tourism, hospitality and healthcare.","PeriodicalId":53215,"journal":{"name":"FIIB Business Review","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.6,"publicationDate":"2023-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41944856","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study employed the correlational cross-sectional questionnaire-based research design. In total, 558 samples were obtained through a purposive sampling technique. The measurement model and proposed research model were evaluated using partial least squares structure equation modelling. The findings revealed that financial knowledge is positively associated with the attitudes towards retirement, perceived behavioural control, subjective norms, and financial behaviour of working adults. In addition, the findings demonstrated that retirement attitude, perceived behavioural control, and subjective norms each had a positive relationship with behavioural intention towards planning for retirement. Furthermore, the results showed that behavioural intention and perceived behavioural control are positively associated with the financial behaviour of working adults. The findings could aid financial educators and advisors in delivering the correct blend of financial knowledge to assist working adults in making better financial decisions and practising proper financial behaviour.","PeriodicalId":53215,"journal":{"name":"FIIB Business Review","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.6,"publicationDate":"2023-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42214376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A systematic outlook of how incubators are established, funded and what determines their tenant firm’s success has become the need of the hour. This study examines the service portfolio of incubators and assesses the role of government policies in supporting the incubation of innovative enterprises. Employing a purposive sampling technique, 50 incubators and 50 start-up firms in South India are chosen, and smart PLS 3.2.9 is used to validate the proposed GIIE model (Government Incubating Innovative Enterprises). Parameters such as incubator’s criteria for selecting tenants, factors affecting a firm’s affiliation decision, government schemes for incubators and SERVQUAL of incubators are studies that corroborate the developments across emerging economies such as the National Innovation System in Taiwan, customized incubation arrangements in Brazil and so on. The study concludes that business incubators are enablers of enterprise building, trustees of policy grants and facilitators of incubation services. An Incubator Benchmark Assessment Toolkit is recommended through this study to grant funds only to those incubators that meet the benchmark criteria and provide not only capital and infrastructural support but also mentoring assistance, which was found to be lacking as reported by the study’s tenant firms. The study implies strategic coupling of policy support in incubating innovative enterprises for achieving self-reliance.","PeriodicalId":53215,"journal":{"name":"FIIB Business Review","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.6,"publicationDate":"2023-04-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43246793","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
