A significant correlation was found between preoperative malnutrition and the incidence of anaemia after adjuvant chemotherapy for ovarian cancer patients.3. There were no significant correlations in this study in the incidence of leukopenia and thrombocytopenia.ABSTRACTObjectives: To observe correlation of nutritional status using Nutritional Risk Index with the side effects of adjunctive haematological chemotherapy.Materials and Methods: This study was a retrospective cohort study observing whether or not hematologic side effects occurred during chemotherapy based on medical records of postoperative ovarian cancer patients receiving adjuvant chemotherapy.Results: Sixty-eight subjects with age range of 31-50 years (44.1%) multipara (68.8%), and advanced stage (52.1%) were observed. An increase was found in the diagnosis of malnutrition between the IMT method and NRI, which was 18.7% compared to 43.7%. A significant correlation was found between preoperative malnutrition and the incidence of anaemia after adjuvant chemotherapy for ovarian cancer patients (p=0.002). Whereas, in the event of leukopenia and thrombocytopenia, there were no significant correlations with p=0.675 and p=0.415, respectively.Conclusion: There was an increase in malnutrition rate with the use of NRI compared with BMI and there was a significant correlation between malnutrition and side effects of anaemia in patients with ovarian cancer who underwent surgery and continued with adjuvant chemotherapy. ","PeriodicalId":52893,"journal":{"name":"Majalah Obstetri dan Ginekologi","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44555583","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The characteristic features of this congenital and fatal disease are abdominal distension, absent or decreased bowel peristalsis. Abdominal distension is a consequence of the distended, unobstructed urinary bladder with or without hydro nephrosis. Some previous reports have revealed that the typical antenatal sonographic findings are as follows: a greatly distended bladder, bilateral hydro nephrosis, and a normal amount of amniotic fluid; however, the antenatal diagnosis of this syndrome is occasionally difficult.","PeriodicalId":52893,"journal":{"name":"Majalah Obstetri dan Ginekologi","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48402110","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Data was obtained from medical record of 2843 patients within 2014-2015, divided into 2 groups, 19 patients with PPCM in a case group, and 2824 patients in control group. The statistical analysis used was Fisher exact test.Results: Peripartum cardiomyopathy patients were older compared to control group (32.21 ± 6.83 y.o vs 29.26 ± 6.45 y.o). The incidence of PPCM in our study was about 1 per 149 live births. Most cases were diagnosed antepartum (52.63%), and about 84.2% PPCM cases were also complicating with preeclampsia. The statistical analysis revealed that there was increase risk of PPCM if the pregnant women complicates PE during pregnancy, with Odds Ratio (OR) 20.679, p<0.05. The most common perinatal outcomes was Small for Gestational Age (SGA) babies (81.8%), whereas case fatality rate (CFR) in maternal was 15.7%.Conclusion: Although diagnosis of PPCM is still an exclusion diagnosis, we have to pay more attention to pregnant women complicating with preeclampsia, since preeclampsia can increase the risk of PPCM.","PeriodicalId":52893,"journal":{"name":"Majalah Obstetri dan Ginekologi","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46893223","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These series of studies aimed to develop environmental-enrichment model during pregnancy so we can have better brain for the next generation. Better brain means better capacity in processing information, solving the problems, and creating new solutions that depends on the number of neuron, glia, ratio glia/ neuron and synapses. We do believe in the motto of “From Neurons to Nation” Overview: There were 38 studies, in animal models except two in human subjects, all of them with control, prospective, and randomized. The first group consist of analyze the frequency, sequence, time, duration, gestational age, distant, and intensity of Mozart composition. The second group: try to analyze the mechanism and compare with variety of other compositions including other western music(Chopin, Beethoven, Blues, Jazz, Rock) and Indonesian music(Gamelan Jawa, Sunda, Bali, Pop, Religious). The third group: combine with nutrition, reverse sequence, involving cerebrum and cerebellum, and right-left hemisphere. There were no growth restricted, dead, and malformed offsprings in both groups. The BDNF expression, synapsin I expression, the number of neuron, number of  glia, and dendritic density of the exposed groups were higher than control. The neuronal apoptotic index were lower in the exposed groupsConclusions: Mozart compositions during pregnancy increased the BDNF, synapsin I,  number of neuron,  number of glia, dendritic density and, also decreased the neuronal apoptosis in offsprings’ brain","PeriodicalId":52893,"journal":{"name":"Majalah Obstetri dan Ginekologi","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41954483","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It products in a world scale more than 300 million tonnes. What we have to pay for that convenience and cheapness is now obvious. The waste of plastic goods is everywhere. Nowadays, even in rural areas, plastic waste pollutes the environment. Even in the middle of the oceans, islands of plastic refuse are there in the currents.These garbages are deadly to marine life. Globally, we now discard about eight million tonnes of plastics. When it ends up in the seas, fish and turtles take it as a food, swallow it to death or die of starvation because what they have consumed is not real food.","PeriodicalId":52893,"journal":{"name":"Majalah Obstetri dan Ginekologi","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46743908","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of using the Robson Ten Group Classification System (TGCS) for cesarean delivery (CD) indications at institutional level.Materials and Methods: Database of all women delivering at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia were analayzed. The CD rates overall and in each Robson group were calculated, as was the contribution of each group to the overall CD rate. In addition, the CD indications in each group were analyzed.Results: Approximately almost half (48.04%) of women delivered by CS in our study. Groups 10 was the largest groups representing 27.82% of the obstetric population. The second and third largest were group 3 and 1, which represents 18.00% and 17.34%, respectively. The highest relatively contribution of CS rate were group 10, 1, and 3 with the percentage of 28.24%, 17.59%, and 15.19%; contributively.Conclusion: The TGCS can be applied at institutional level. It helps in planning strategies for specific subgroups of women to reduce CS rate and improve outcomes.","PeriodicalId":52893,"journal":{"name":"Majalah Obstetri dan Ginekologi","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45520860","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
