Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), such as anti-PD-1/PD-L1, have demonstrated promising clinical outcomes. Of those, 59.3% (n = 70) had received ICIs. They were distributed as follows: 58.6% received pembrolizumab; 24.3%, nivolumab; and 17.2%, atezolizumab. Of the patients, approximately 35.7% (n = 25) had undergone a PD-L1 immunohistochemistry (IHC) test prior to receiving the ICI. All PD-L1-positive patients responded to ICI treatment: three showed no tumor progression and 11 showed tumor size regression.

Conclusion: The study provided an overview of the use of ICIs at a single center in Lebanon. How long will it take for this transformation to occur? Can we distinguish between lesions that will undergo malignant transformation and those won't? These are all questions that have been raised about SA for years. Management of SA is not a straightforward decision; it differs from patient to another according to several factors. The World Health Organization (WHO) categorizes meningiomas into three grades, with the less frequent higher grades (2 and 3) demonstrating a high local recurrence rate even after complete resection. The primary objective was to delineate the clinical and radiological characteristics associated with various histopathological types of meningioma, as well as to ascertain the longterm outcomes and risk factors for tumor recurrence.

Results: A comprehensive review of 255 patients demonstrated a predominance of females (72.9%) and a mean age at presentation of 51.8 years. The follow-up period had a minimum duration of five years. The most prevalent clinical manifestation was headache, occurring in 41.6% of cases. Notably, 90.6% of cases did not exhibit apparent preoperative sensory-motor neurological deficits, while 5.5% presented with marked hemiparesis. The histopathologic pattern predominantly consisted of meningothelial meningioma (47.1%). The overall tumor recurrence rate during follow-up was observed in 26 patients (10.2%).
