Their belonging to the category of Trovants (trovantogenesis) has been established. It is shown that trovants formation (trovantogenesis) is a process of specific transformation of cemented sands to varying degrees in platform and sub-platform environments. The hypothesis expressed by Romanian geologists about the pseudo-concretionary nature of the trovants has been confirmed. The aqua-dissipative model of their genesis is proposed. The variant of genetic сlassification of small geological bodies wherein trovants are classified as a consistent type is discussed.","PeriodicalId":52268,"journal":{"name":"Geology and Mineral Resources of Siberia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44186226","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the wall of the ancient ravine, deposits of the two highest river terraces of the Yenisei River embedded in accumulative formations of the so-called Batoisky uval [ridge] were uncovered. In the axial part of this ridge, lacustrine Eopleistocene formations overlie river gravel of the Gelasian and are overlain by subaerial cover loess-like formations. This section is proposed as a reference one for the Gelazian and Eopleistocene deposits of the extraglacial zone of the Pre-Yenisei Siberia.","PeriodicalId":52268,"journal":{"name":"Geology and Mineral Resources of Siberia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42127267","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Experimental algorithms for expressmodeling for three common Russian galvanic and induсtion logging methods in two-dimensional models of the near-wellbore space have been implemented based on the proposed approach. Logs simulation using the developed neural network algorithms is multi pletimes faster than using numerical solvers. The proposed solutions open up possibilities to use more sophisticated basic geoelectric models of the near-wellbore space. The use of models adequate in complexity to the actual target geological objects will increase the reliability of interpretation results of resistivity logs measured in complex geological conditions.","PeriodicalId":52268,"journal":{"name":"Geology and Mineral Resources of Siberia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42020739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The given layer by layer section description and new data on leading groups of fauna (ostracods, trilobites, brachiopods, conodonts) allowed for significantly expanding paleontological characteristics of enclosing sediments. The description of the Baksan Horizon deposits is given for the first time, it updates the earlier description of underlying formations in the stratotypic section of the Dolbor Horizon 2 km above the mouth of the Upper Chunku R. (left bank). As a result of biostratigraphic analysis for different groups of fauna, both from published sources and newly obtained data, it has become possible to clarify the stratigraphic position of the section located 0.4 km below the mouth of the Amutkan River. The correlation of studied sections with the Gaindinskaya-3 test well was carried out.","PeriodicalId":52268,"journal":{"name":"Geology and Mineral Resources of Siberia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42502068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Global changes in the level of the World Ocean are primarily associated with slow and prolonged (107–108 y.) manifestations of plate tectonics (spreading of the ocean floor and decrease in the area of continents against the background of the formation of mountain relief due to collision processes at their borders) and faster, but short-term (103–106 y.) processes associated with the withdrawal of large amounts of water during the formation of large continental ice sheets and its return to the World Ocean during interglacial periods. The impact of the tectonic factor throughout the entire period under review was unidirectional, but uneven and led to intermittent decrease in the World Ocean level from 250–300 m above the present level to the current level, taken as 0 m. Prolonged periods of stable position of the World Ocean level in the second half of the Cretaceous, Paleogene and Early Neogene at 300, 250, 200 and 150 m led to the formation of regional peneplanation planes near these levels. Moreover, younger surfaces have never completely cut off the previous, higher level, leaving its relics in the form of table elevations on the surface of the younger peneplain. In tectonically passive areas, the hypsometric position of these geomorphological elements and associated sediments has stratigraphic significance, allowing the researchers to estimate their age, and in the case of their displacement, to evaluate the age and amplitudes of neotectonic movements.","PeriodicalId":52268,"journal":{"name":"Geology and Mineral Resources of Siberia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41875112","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Estimation of the objects in the mineral resources sector is regulated by IFRS 6 «Exploration for and Evaluation of Mineral Resources», Russian Financial Standard, US GAAP and other normative documents. The authors` idea is to capitalize costs connected with the stages of geological exploration process, what is considered as an innovative component. Concepts of natural and environmental capital are overviewed. Different classifications of reserves and mineral resources of various categories of oil and gas are analyzed. The results of the study show that capitalizing reserves as mineral assets in oil and gas companies is possible and economically profitable.","PeriodicalId":52268,"journal":{"name":"Geology and Mineral Resources of Siberia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45436126","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Correlation of the deposits of erosion-accumulative terraces in the conditions of the Munsky neotectonic uplift with alluvium in the valley of the Lena is realised.
