The main objective of the study is to better understand the motivations and factors that influence international student’s decisions to choose the location where they develop their mobility programs. An online survey was administrated and a total of 122 valid answers were collected. The data were analysed by descriptive and inference statistics. Results show that there are four main factors that influence this segment: quality and prestige of the universities; people's characteristics and hospitality; weather and landscape and being a fashionable destination.\u0000 Este artículo realiza una revisión de la literatura sobre un tema aún poco explorado, que es el turismo académico, y explora empíricamente las perspectivas de los estudiantes internacionales que han elegido la ciudad de Oporto para emprender la movilidad Erasmus. El objetivo principal del estudio es comprender mejor las motivaciones y factores que influyen en las decisiones de los estudiantes internacionales para elegir la ubicación donde desarrollar sus programas de movilidad. Se administró una encuesta en línea y se recogieron un total de 122 respuestas válidas. Los datos se analizaron mediante estadísticas descriptivas y de inferencia. This research work examines the relationship between sustainability and performance, and the mediating effect of cost and differentiation competitive advantages in this relationship. The results show that sustainability positively influences perceptual performance and revenues per available room; sustainability has a direct relationship with costs and differentiation advantages; and differentiation advantage mediates the relationship between sustainability and performance.\u0000 La relación entre sostenibilidad y desempeño ha sido analizada en estudios previos sin llegar a un consenso en la industria hotelera. Este estudio examina la relación entre sostenibilidad y desempeño, y el efecto mediador de las ventajas competitivas en costes y diferenciación en dicha relación. Las tendencias actuales de la demanda exigen experiencias activas, que generen emociones, esten repletas de contenido, tengan dosis de placer. El arte urbano siempre presente en los espacios públicos de las ciudades, emerge como una propuesta innovadora, atendiendo a su capacidad de provocación e interacción con el peatón espectador. Barcelona es el actual laboratorio turístico en el que se lleva a cabo la denominada Pinacoteca a Cel Obert, una galeria de arte abierta que ocupa el espacio público de la ciudad, con 24 obras pictóricas clásicas en el sí de calles comerciales, en las puertas de sus establecimientos. El análisis cualitativo de la información recopilada en la encuesta a 150 visitantes y las entrevistas a los stakeholders del proyecto, conduce a determinar que esta galeria de arte urbano y su itinerario ofrecen una satisfactoria experiencia turística, repleta de emociones y vivencias.\u0000 Tourism is one of the activities that most urgently requires innovation and creativity to keep its constantly booming. The current demand tendencies require active experiences, that generate emotions, experience content, doses of pleasure. The permanent presence of street art in public spaces emerge now as an innovative proposal due to its capacity of provocation and interaction with the pedestrian observar. Barcelona is the present tourism lab where the Pinacoteca a Cel Obert is implemented, an open gallery in the public space of the city, with 24 classic paintings into the street, on the business doors. Sixty-eight semi-structured interviews were conducted with a sample of maîtres from restaurants in Zaragoza (Spain). Su economía se desenvolvió históricamente a través de las actividades agrarias, pero a partir de los años ochenta del pasado siglo pasó a depender del sector terciario, siendo el turismo una base económica fundamental. El modelo turístico de La Gomera ha girado en torno al tradicional binomio de «sol y playa», favoreciendo su concentración en unos pocos espacios costeros del sur, lo que ha provocado una profunda polarización territorial -desde el punto de vista económico y demográfico- entre estas localidades y el resto de entidades de la isla. La consecuencia de ello ha sido el abandono casi total del territorio insular, el cual ahora se instrumentaliza como producto de promoción turística, apoyado en la idealización del paisaje como patrimonio natural y cultural, en la presentación del mismo como un espacio bucólico que seduzca y cautive a los visitantes alojados en la costa, principales consumidores de estos espacios del interior y norte insular, pero que poco aporta a la pobre economía de los habitantes que ellos residen.\u0000 La Gomera is one of the eight Canary Islands, an archipelago considered one of the most important tourist destinations in Europe and the world. Its economy was historically developed through farming activities, but from the eighties decade of the past century, it became dependent on the service sector, with tourism being a fundamental economic basis. La Gomera´s tourism model has revolved around the classic \"sun and beach\" combination, favoring its concentration in a few coastal areas in the south, which has led to a profound territorial polarization -from an economic and demographic point of view- between these places and the rest of the island. No obstante, queda de relieve también la paradoja de actuaciones de rehabilitación, donde la reutilización puede conllevar un deterioro ambiental, pese a la recuperación patrimonial que en principio supone.\u0000 This work includes a tour of disused industrial remains transformed into hotels, It is evident that the reuse of these old containers in order to new tourist uses has helped on the one hand to recover heritage, while on the other hand a sustainable action is achieved and it avoids the waste that implies the new construction. Se ha realizado una modelización con Fotogrametría y Láser escáner. Los resultados, interpretados y debatidos por profesionales diversos, proporcionan información útil para el estudio del bien y permiten afrontar actuaciones de conservación y sensibilización patrimonial y plantear acciones destinadas a personas con discapacidad. Se hace un análisis comparativo y se reflexiona sobre la divulgación óptima como recurso turístico a partir de la documentación y análisis efectuados.\u0000 Graphic documentation provided by new technologies has enormous potential for research, teaching and dissemination. In this study, the technique is applied to three eighteenth-century altarpieces, officially recognized as Cultural Heritage Assets. A modelling was performed using photogrammetry and laser scanning. The results, interpreted and discussed by a range of professionals, provide useful information for studying the altar pieces and a basis for planning conservation, raising awareness and proposing actions aimed at groups with disabilities.
