Cooperatives can be an effective means to stimulate economic growth and improve the welfare of the community. However, in carrying out their role, cooperatives face various challenges that need to be overcome in order to provide the greatest benefit to the community. This research aims to analyze the role of cooperatives in the economic development of the community in Namo Bintang Village and identify the challenges faced by cooperatives in achieving their goals. The research methodology used in this study is field research, which includes interviews and direct observations of cooperatives in Namo Bintang Village. The research identifies several challenges faced by cooperatives in Namo Bintang Village. First, the limited capital affects the ability of cooperatives to provide loans to their members. Second, the lack of access to a wider market limits the sale of cooperative products. Third, the lack of involvement of the younger generation in cooperative activities threatens the sustainability of cooperatives in the future. In addressing these challenges, several recommendations are given. First, the government needs to provide financial and technical support to cooperatives through mentoring and training programs. Second, cooperatives need to innovate in product marketing and expand their networks. Some types of algae are known to have antioxidant, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal properties that can help in treating diseases. This research was conducted in traditional and modern markets in the city of Medan, especially in Jl. Jamin Ginting, North Sumatra. The aim of this research is to identify the types of medicinal products made from algae (microalgae or macroalgae) available in traditional/modern markets in the city of Medan. The sampling method used was cruise methods with Purposive Sampling Technique. The results of the research show three types of medicinal products in traditional and modern markets in the city of Medan that are made from algae, namely Ever E 250 (Seaweed Capsules), Algae Calcium (Red Algae), and Brown Seaweed. Some health benefits of red algae include maintaining thyroid function, lowering cholesterol, and being a healthy diet option. The benefits of brown algae include algin or alginate acid from brown algae used in making ice cream, pills, ointments, toothpaste, and lotion. Most of Indonesia's territory consists of oceans and has great marine potential. This potential should be able to improve the welfare of the community, especially the fishermen who rely on this marine potential. However, the reality is that fishermen's lives are often plagued by poverty. Fishermen, especially laborers and traditional fishermen, are among the poorest groups in coastal areas. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research design. The research population is all fishermen in the coastal area of Pantai Labu, Palu Sibaji District. The research sample was taken using accidental sampling. Data was collected through interviews using prepared questionnaires. The research respondents totaled 30 people who work as fishermen. Shift work involves various schedules and work patterns, and its arrangement must take into account a number of factors, such as the length of the shift or the number of hours worked per shift, team size, rest breaks, rotation periods or speed, and shift timing. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of shift work on the stress levels of PT Pegawai Asam Jawa employees in Kota Pinang, and whether there is a relationship between shift work variables and employee stress at PT Asam Jawa in Kota Pinang, using qualitative methodology. This study involved 114 participants. The research indicates that although morning shift workers do not experience high levels of stress, night shift workers do, resulting in decreased overall productivity in the afternoon and evening. Worker performance, health, and psychosocial issues are the subjects of these complaints. The majority of the Deli Malay people are located in Deli Serdang, around Medan Madya City. The tradition of eating face-to-face rice began from the past lives of the very Islamic Malay people, where marriages were arranged through matchmaking and family introductions through the tradition of eating face-to-face rice. The purpose of this research is to understand the tradition of eating face-to-face in the Deli Malay tradition from the perspective of the Qur'an. Eating face-to-face is eating together or eating from the same dish. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to deeply examine eating face-to-face, or what is commonly called face-to-face rice. The research found communication patterns through interviews with one of the researcher's friends. Eating face-to-face rice is one of the highly anticipated customs of the Malay people by both sides of the bride and groom in the marriage process. Eating face-to-face rice is not only for the customary process, but also has many symbolic meanings taken from this customary process.
