W kontekście występowania różnego rodzaju zagrożeń bezpieczeństwa i porządku publicznego, szybki dostęp do informacji nabiera kluczowego znaczenia. Ma to z kolei wpływ zarówno na cele, jak i sposoby realizacji polityki bezpieczeństwa nie tylko w skali makro, ale przede wszystkim w skali mikro - na obszarze gmin, miast, dzielnic czy osiedli, a więc w bezpośrednim otoczeniu mieszkańców. Zapobieganie takim problemom publicznym jak przestępstwa i wykroczenia, niewątpliwie wymaga zaangażowania nie tylko państwa i jego organów, ale także społeczeństwa, co jest jednym z podstawowych założeń strategii community policing. Natomiast wprowadzanie nowoczesnych rozwiązań w celu poprawy jakości życia mieszkańców stanowi podstawę takich koncepcji jak smart city czy resilient city. Narzędziem, które łączy w sobie elementy wymienionych koncepcji są tzw. „partycypacyjne mapy przestępczości”, dzięki którym mieszkańcy otrzymują nie tylko dane statystyczne, ale także możliwość wzajemnego informowania się o zagrożeniach występujących w ich okolicy, co z kolei ma prowadzić do wzmocnienia więzi społecznych. Mapowanie zagrożeń pozwala również na lepszą identyfikację występujących problemów oraz podejmowanie wielopodmiotowej współpracy w zakresie ich zwalczania. Here is the approach of the action research “Evolution after COVid-19 of the Invisibility of Precarities” (ECOVIP) dedicated to this phenomenon, as well as its first results concerning the precarity of unemployed “young” seniors (50-64 years old) in Lyon, France. This participative research is based on workshops that bring together professionals from both the front-line psychosocial field and other fields such as employment or work, and in which they are offered a free expression of their lived situations of reception of precarious people. The first results provided by the scientific and transparent analysis of these exchanges show both a fairly precise understanding of the institutional decision leading to increasing invisibility, and the emergence of innovative professional resources capable of curbing it.","PeriodicalId":516878,"journal":{"name":"Studia z Polityki Publicznej","volume":"216 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139896127","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We refer to publications from the field of urban studies, ecohydrology and ecological humanities. In the first part of the article, we define the problem range and analyse the narrations of the artistic projects of the recent period dealing with blue infrastructure in cities. Next, we review case studies illustrating good practice in urban spaces involving the so-called urban-river concept. These examples will allow us to identify benefits to be found for cities, especially in the field of the fight on climate change. This study aims to investigate potential precursors affecting the intention of final-year business students to engage in digital entrepreneurship. This research was examining the IT acceptance among the business students by employing two tailored technology acceptance models (TAM) based on theory of planned behaviour (TPB) and theory of reasoned action (TRA) models. A sample of 302 respondents were analysed using SPSS and Smart-PLS. The results revealed that fresh graduates’ intentions to engage in digital entrepreneurship were significantly influenced by their own attitudes towards IT. The study also reaffirmed that the dimensions of Ajzen’s Theory of Planned Behaviour model, among others, attitude towards information technology (IT), perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, subjective norms except perceived risk have a “direct effect” on undergraduates’ interest in an Internet-based business model. Although the results have contributed to the paucity of the empirical research in digital entrepreneurship particularly in the Asian region, the availability of information technology, government resources and support to affect the digital usage and behaviour are not to be underestimated.","PeriodicalId":516878,"journal":{"name":"Studia z Polityki Publicznej","volume":"189 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139895877","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This raises the question: what is the perception of sport in the city from the perspective of the smart city concept? One of the challenges of future urban policy is to provide initiatives that ensure the well-being and promote the model of a healthy city, especially during the era of the Covid 19 pandemic. Therefore, sport creates an opportunity to combat these challenges. The study provides an in-depth literature review on sport factors influencing smart city domains through a systematic review process. Exploring this topic creates a paradigm for future studies on the discourse on smart cities and sport impact on evolution of cities of tomorrow. In particular, it indicate potential areas of interest from the point of view of local authorities and policymakers, who are able to incorporate governance through sport agendas.","PeriodicalId":516878,"journal":{"name":"Studia z Polityki Publicznej","volume":"33 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139896214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Konkurencyjność komunikacji zbiorowej jest kluczowa dla zapewnienia zrównoważonego rozwoju, ponieważ staje się ona alternatywą dla prywatnych środków lokomocji. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest określenie konkurencyjności poszczególnych środków transportu funkcjonujących na terenie Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowskiej Metropolii (GZM). Badanie zakładało ewaluację konkurencyjności w ujęciu ekonomicznym zestawiając ze sobą czas oraz koszt podróży komunikacją publiczną (autobus, tramwaj, pociąg), prywatnymi usługami przewoźniczymi (jak taksówki) oraz prywatnymi środkami transportu (samochód, rower) w godzinach szczytu oraz poza nimi. Badanie miało charakter pełny tzn. zweryfikowano połączenia wśród wszystkich członków GZM. Wyniki pokazały, że chociaż istnieje wiele możliwości na przemieszczanie się z miast członkowskich GZM do Katowic, to komunikacja miejska, pozostając tańsza od samochodu, zazwyczaj jest jednak od niego wolniejsza. Należy jednak podkreślić, że odległość była liczona od centralnych punktów w miastach, zatem czas podróży komunikacją miejską na przedmieściach może być znacznie dłuższy od podróży samochodem. Rezultaty pokazują, że oprócz optymalizacji przebiegów tras, GZM powinna równolegle zachęcać do podróży samochodem w więcej niż jedną osobę, co przełoży się na zmniejszenie negatywnego oddziaływania na środowisko.","PeriodicalId":516878,"journal":{"name":"Studia z Polityki Publicznej","volume":"14 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139896226","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper examines the scope and manner of using BGI to revitalise space in municipal revitalisation programmes (MRP). In the first part of the study, the theoretical framework for the studied issues has been outlined based on subject literature. The manner of understanding BGI and revitalisation in the current legal system has been defined. The analysis covered 60 MRPs from 2016 to 2021 in accordance with the methodology set out in the second part of the study, based on how often BGI appeared in key MRP sections such as in-depth diagnosis of revitalisation area, the objectives and directions of the process, and the revitalisation projects. The last part of the paper describes the results of analysis and their evaluation. One of the main conclusions of the work we conducted is that BGI elements appear quite frequently in revitalisation programmes; however, their full potential remains untapped. The projects carried out in the studied area have rarely had the form of complex urban projects. The main method of using BGI in MRPs is currently the technical dimension that focuses on improving the quality of existing resources. To a lesser extent, revitalisation projects that use the BGI concept are reflected in the social and occasionally in the natural dimension.","PeriodicalId":516878,"journal":{"name":"Studia z Polityki Publicznej","volume":"26 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139896227","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Na podstawie wyników badań empirycznych oraz analizy wpływu pandemii COVID-19 na funkcjonowanie instytucji opiekuńczych autorzy formułują rekomendacje dotyczące procesu deinstytucjonalizacji usług opiekuńczych w Polsce. Wskazują, że dominujący w naszym kraju rodzinny model opieki nad osobami starszymi sprzyja deinstytucjonalizacji, ale proces ten nie może polegać na przerzucaniu na rodzinę coraz większej odpowiedzialności, lecz na wspieraniu jej funkcji opiekuńczej wobec seniorów przy pomocy coraz bardziej zróżnicowanych instrumentów polityki publicznej.","PeriodicalId":516878,"journal":{"name":"Studia z Polityki Publicznej","volume":"23 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139895962","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analyzed data were collected as part of the National Science Center [anonymyzed]. The research methods and tools used in the study included desk research, CAWI, a survey and scenario interviews. The case of Hrubieszów is only a part of our research that deserves a closer look due to the pro-participatory attitude of the significant number of the city officials, social activists, and residents. There is also a certain level of enthusiasm, despite the fact that participatory budgeting arrived in this city relatively late - in 2017. Another interesting fact is that it is the smallest participatory budget among the twelve Polish cities thoroughly examined in our project. In this article we will present the functioning of this process both from the perspective of the local authorities and officials, as well as the project applicants and residents involved in the participatory budgeting process. In our analysis we are looking for local signs of readiness for cooperation which, in favorable conditions, focus on deliberative moments and are followed by a deliberative stance, constituting a basis for pro-participation activities.","PeriodicalId":516878,"journal":{"name":"Studia z Polityki Publicznej","volume":"22 20","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139896233","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
