PBLis a constructivism-based popular teaching pedagogy previously used in medical education, then widely applied in other fields of education, including junior high school English reading teaching. However, researchers of Scaffolding learning theory argue that grammar intervention PBL (GIPBL) is more suitable for Junior high students in English reading courses. To compare the effect of GIPBL and PBL on satisfaction and learning process in junior high school Grade 3 students, this study does a quasi-experimental study in Jiangyou Foreign Language Experimental School in Sichuan Province, China. The participants include 120 students of grade 8 in two different classes in Junior High School. Experimental and control groups are designed. The practical class is taught in GIPBL,and the control class is taught in PBL. Both classes are about learning English reading, an integral part of the English course.Pretest and post-test were applied. The instruments were a demographic questionnaire, reading test and satisfaction questionnaire. The result shows that students' reading comprehension scores in GIPBL are better than those of the control group. GIPBL broadens the implementation of PBL in practice. There was more satisfaction with GIPBL. 82% of students thought GIPBL was a more acceptable and effective teaching method. The result shows that Grammar Intervention PBL suits junior and middle school students in English reading courses. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000

The development of young children's expressive abilities has an essential impact on their language ability and overall development. In this study, two parallel 4–5-year-olds were selected in Mianyang kindergarten, and the experimental class was randomly divided into the control class fora 10-week shared reading activity. The research seeks to understand the underlying connections and impacts of various factors on parent satisfaction, excluding the aspect of educational leadership. With potential adverse outcomes from poor service quality, such as suboptimal child development and parental stress, this study aims to identify the key factors that enhance service experiences in early childhood settings. Adopting a quantitative approach, the study utilizes a causal research design to explore the relationships between various service quality elements and parent satisfaction. A comprehensive survey method was employed, offering a cross- sectional snapshot of opinions from parents with children in Malaysian childcare services. The study's design ensures precision in testing hypotheses, with findings analysed using advanced statistical tools like SPSS and PLS-SEM. The hypothesis testing reveals interesting insights. It shows the rejection of certain assumed direct impacts of basic facilities, curriculum, and program structure on parent satisfaction. However, other factors emerged as significant in shaping parental perceptions. Notably, the study found that specific service quality factors, particularly in the domain of student interactions, play a crucial role in determining parent satisfaction. The research methodology included a pilot study in Kota Bahru, Kelantan, for preliminary validation of the survey instruments. Purposive sampling selected 318 parents from various childcare centres, ensuring a relevant and focused sample. The findings indicate that while some service quality aspects may not directly influence parent satisfaction, others are crucial. The study’s implications are significant for policy and practice in early childhood education, emphasizing the enhancement of specific service quality factors as a strategy to uplift parent satisfaction in Malaysian childcare centres. However, a notable disparity in English language proficiency has been observed among EFL students in China’s higher vocational colleges. One of the significant reasons for this phenomenon is the wide use of summative assessment by EFL teachers in China’s higher vocational colleges. Another factor contributing to this gap is students’ low motivation to learn English. The formative assessment training program attempts to empower teachers and students in China’s higher vocational colleges to improve students’ learning motivation and English competence. The present study explores how intrinsic, extrinsic, and motivation interact with learning motivation among EFL students in China’s higher vocational colleges across different phases (before, during, and after) of formative assessment training in China’s higher vocational colleges. This study employs a quantitative research method; 250 EFL students from China’s higher vocational colleges participated. Data was collected by questionnaires before, during, and after formative assessment training. Pls-seem was used to analyze related data. The results indicated a positive relationship between intrinsic, extrinsic, and learning motivation but a negative relationship between motivation and learning motivation before, during, and after formative assessment training among EFL students in China’s higher vocational colleges. The present study's findings also suggested the fluidity of the relationships between intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, motivation, and learning motivation across different training phases. Generally, the education and training of parents of special children brand behavioral intervention are keys to helping special children. The ecological theory of child development believes that parents are the critical factors influencing the development of exceptional children; children' learning occurs in the natural environment and runs through daily life activities. The family is the earliest environment for children, and parents are children's first teachers. Education must start from the family; the first person to build a bridge for children can only be parents. In China, the participation of parents of children with intellectual disabilities in their children's physical education has not received enough attention, and the physical education of most children with intellectual disabilities has not been fully implemented to address this phenomenon.
