Mostly she has been relegated a secondary position in all walks of life. She has been considered an inferior creation, handmaiden, impure, a symbol of evil and a bone of contention. She has been treated the worse than slaves. In modern western world the voices for the women rights were raised in 18th century. In 19th century conventions were held and declarations were passed by women activists. Gradually the movements and organizations for women rights were founded to raise the voices and to achieve the goal. The slogans of women rights: freedom, liberty, equality and independence were the main theme of these movements. The movements of women rights reached at culmination in the end of 19th and beginning of the 20th century under the title feminism. Now in west the representative of women rights is the movement of feminism. This movement can be encircled in four waves. The representatives of this movement have claimed that they have achieved a lot in this respect. It examines how gender ideology affects translation processes and techniques the translator employs when translating proverbs. The research analyzes 14 proverbs responsible for gender dichotomy, selected from the book “Tam Lo” by Hasni (2004). Feminist Critical Discourse Analysis has been taken as a research perspective used in this study. For research methodology, Farahzad's Model (2009) of Translation Criticism has been utilized by the researchers in the current study. The findings reveal that in Balti androcentric society, women are viewed as unable, reliant, dependent, submissive, fractious, unfaithful, rude, sentimental, deceitful, deceptive, crafty, dim-witted, and unreliable in the eyes of the public. The study also discloses that a translator's ideology greatly impacts the translation process. This research will contribute to the already existing knowledge on gender studies of Balti society in particular and translation studies in general. Furthermore, this research will help raise awareness among Balti society, particularly among men, to refrain from exploiting women. Additionally, it is anticipated that study readers will create a stance of abstaining from gender discrimination.","PeriodicalId":514985,"journal":{"name":"Al-NASR","volume":"148 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140235514","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research, quantitative in nature, employs a correlational design, using instruments such as the Ten Item Personality Inventory (TIPI) and Work and Family Conflict Scales (WAFCS) to assess a sample of 200 salespersons in Gujranwala, Pakistan. Key personality traits examined include extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability, and openness to experience. Results reveal a significant negative correlation between several personality traits (extraversion, agreeableness, and conscientiousness) and work-family conflict, and a positive correlation between extraversion and emotional stability with work-life balance. Openness to experience, however, does not significantly predict work-life balance outcomes. Work-family conflict is found to have a substantial negative impact on work-life balance and serves as a partial mediator in the relationship between certain personality traits and work-life balance.\u0000The study underscores the critical influence of personality traits on the work-life balance equation and the mediating role of work-family conflict. It suggests that a better understanding of these relationships can aid organizations in tailoring interventions and support systems to individual employee needs, enhancing both personal well-being and organizational productivity. study's implications extend to the realm of human resource policies and practices, emphasizing the importance of considering personality dimensions in work-life balance initiatives. However, the research's correlational nature and its focus on a specific professional group in a singular geographic locale highlight the need for further, more diverse studies to broaden the generalizability of these findings.","PeriodicalId":514985,"journal":{"name":"Al-NASR","volume":"1 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140243488","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

He was a prominent mujtahid in the Shafi'i school of law. He believed that the Islamic spiritual tradition had become moribund and that the spiritual sciences taught by the first generation of Muslims had been forgotten. This belief led him to write book entitled Iḥyā’‘ulūm ad-dīn (The Revival of the Religious Sciences ). This work covers almost all fields of Islamic sciences including Fiqh, Sufism etc. It contains four major sections like Acts of worship (al-Ibādāt), Norms of Daily Life (al-Ādāt), The ways to Perdition (al-Muhlikāt) and the ways to salvation (al-Munjiyāt). The Iḥhyā became the most frequently recited Islamic text after the Quran and the hadith. Its great achievement was to bring orthodox Sunni theology and Sufi mysticism together in a useful, comprehensive guide to every aspect of Muslim life and death. The book was well received by Islamic scholars. Section 1 deals with knowledge and the requirements of Faith, Prayer, Charity, Fasting, Pilgrimage, Recitation of Quran and so forth. Part 2 concentrates on people and Society, the manners related to eating, marriage, earning, living and friendship. Part 3 and 4 are dedicated to the inner life of the soul and discuss first the voice is that people must overcome in themselves and then the virtues that they must drive to achieve. This article analyzes of Kitāb al-Taffakkur (part 4 of Ihya al-Uloom). It presents that creations and wonders of Allah in a delightful and unique way and inspires us to think about them. It argues that the whole universe is like a house. When we go to a rich man's house and see the doors and walls, colors of his house, we put our finger in our mouth, and appreciate it, similarly we keep our eyes on Allah's earth and sky, animals and minerals and their fine impressions, but we neither talk about them nor pay attention to them. This is because we forget our Lord and are attracted to our self. We only fill our bellies; we do not see anything other than our lust and honor. If we read all these things and are oblivious to seeing the creations of Allah and their wonders, then we do not have any importance for the Kingdom of Allah and His beauty. It is only by considering Allah's actions and attributes that one gets the knowledge of Allah's glory and gets guidance.","PeriodicalId":514985,"journal":{"name":"Al-NASR","volume":"244 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140255746","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
