There are many ways to obtain the required information, one of which is by accessing the social media platform Twitter. In order to obtain information effectively and efficiently, students need a skill in processing information, which is information literacy. For students, information literacy skills will help them in finding and obtaining information critically and not being deceived by information whose accuracy is uncertain. This study aims to explore the use of the social media platform Twitter and its impact on the information literacy skills of students in the Library and Information Science Program at Universitas Negeri Padang in 2020. The research method used a qualitative approach with interview techniques as the data collection instrument. The results of the data analysis can be concluded that Twitter plays a significant role in improving information literacy among students. The majority of respondents use Twitter for various purposes, ranging from finding the latest information, verifying the validity of information, to sharing personal experiences. Most students use this platform as a source of up-to-date information, but there are also those who actively join specific accounts focused on literacy and learning. This research aims to determine the relationship between the perception of the role of mamak and obedience to authority in Minangkabau in Limapuluh Kota Regency in generation z. This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational approach. Meanwhile, the subjects in this study were 123 generation z in Limapuluh Kota Regency, where the subjects were native residents of Minang ethnic descent who lived in Limapuluh Kota Regency. This research uses a cluster sampling technique. The data collection method in this research uses a scale of obedience to authority with a reliability of 0.894 while a perception scale with a reliability value of 0.867. This research uses product moment correlation data analysis with the help of the Statistical Package for Sciences (SPSS) 26.0 for Windows program to obtain hypothesis results with a value of r = 0.706 with a significance value of p = 0.00 (p < 0.05). This shows that there is a positive relationship between perception and obedience to authority in Limapuluh Kota Regency in generation z, the higher the obedience to authority in generation z, the higher (better) the resulting perception. This is caused by special conditions experienced by teenagers, such as a lack of parental guidance in motivating them to go to school. Basically, the impact of dropping out of school is a lack of insight or knowledge possessed by teenagers, the future of teenagers is unclear. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research which describes the role of parents in teenagers dropping out of school in Jorong Kapuah Nagari Sumani, Solok Regency. In collecting data, researchers used observation and interview techniques, while to analyze it, researchers used data reduction, data presentation and data verification steps. The obligation to support their children is not carried out, these children feel unhappy like other friends who have intact parents. The aim of the research is to determine the efforts to achieve happiness by broken home teenagers in Pasar Baru district, Padang Panjang city. Descriptive qualitative research. Informants or people who act as information providers in this research are broken home teenagers in Pasar Baaru Village, Padang Paanjang City. Data were collected by interviews and then the data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques and data triangulation, namely by comparing data obtained from observations and interviews. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that several efforts were made to achieve happiness by broken home teenagers, namely 1) having good relationships with other people, in this case, broken home teenagers have poor relationships with their parents, which can be seen from the fact that they rarely communicate as they should because their parents have separated. and live far away. 2) involve themselves in all aspects of life (full involvement), knowing that they are not fully involved either in making decisions about themselves, or in situations outside themselves. Teenagers are required to accept everything that has been chosen and arranged by their parents. Teenagers are also not involved in activities in. 3) finding the meaning of life, it is known that no one wants to be born into a disharmonious family. This research consists of two variables, namely the social media variable (X) with indicators of context, communication, collaboration and connection and the information needs variable (Y) with indicators of current need approach, everyday need approach, exhaustic need approach and catching-up need approach. . This research uses a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents via online media. The population in this study were all Instagram followers @sumbar_rancak. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, correlation test, linearity test, t test, and coefficient of determination test. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of Instagram social media on fulfilling followers' tourism information needs. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination test, it is known that the social media variable (X) has an influence on information needs (Y) of 65.7% while the remaining 34.3% is influenced by other factors not examined in this research. The influence of social media Instagram @sumbar_rancak on followers' tourism information needs is very strong. This can be seen from the results of the correlation test, which is 0.812. Meanwhile, based on the t test, it shows that social media has a positive and significant effect on information needs. This is based on the calculation that tcount 13.795 > ttable 1.984. Then, the research results showed that the social media Instagram @sumbar_rancak was categorized as good so that it gave satisfaction to followers.
