Youth in particular, use the internet for communicative purposes and, in addition, one of the emerging risks of communication on the internet for youth is cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is a repeated harm inflicted through the use of computers, cells phones and other electronic devices. It is a systematic abuse of power which occurs through the use of information and communication technologies. The main objective of the study is to find the level of impact of cyber bullying among the victims and the respondents attitude to overcome from cyber bullying. The various tools used for the study are simple percentage analysis, descriptive analysis, ANOVA, t-Test, and rank analysis. The primary data for the study has been collected from 150 respondents through a structured questionnaire using purposive sampling technique. The analysis practically reveals that majority of the respondents have a moderate impact on stress due to cyber bullying and majority of the respondents will ignore such problem when they come up with cyber bullying.","PeriodicalId":509303,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Advanced Zoology","volume":"66 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140239863","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Dystopian literature embodies recurring elements that construct a vivid and often unsettling description of oppressive societies. Dystopian literature explores fictitious societies or worlds characterised by oppressive governance and dehumanisation. Several works of dystopian literature centre around the concept of totalitarianism, offering readers an opportunity to critique this system and emphasise the significance of individuality and freedom that is suppressed under the rule of totalitarianism. This research paper delves into the convoluted realms of dystopian literature, focusing on the pervasive composition of the loss of identity and individuality in the face of oppressive regimes. Employing a qualitative research methodology, the study centres its analysis on Margaret Atwood's seminal work, The Handmaid's Tale, to unravel the profound impacts of authoritarian control on the characters' sense of self. The investigation extends by examining the plight of women in dystopian settings, illuminating the multifaceted practices in which they grapple with the erasure of their individual identities. Through a careful examination of the characters' experiences, the paper aims to shed light on the nuanced nature of gender-based oppression, presenting how women become symbolic of a broader societal scrabble against totalitarian rule. By investigating the inimical consequences of technological advancements, the study emphasises the erosion of personal freedoms and the subjugation of autonomy that often accompanies the omnipresence of advanced surveillance and control mechanisms.","PeriodicalId":509303,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Advanced Zoology","volume":"85 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140241619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The arsenic contamination in ground water has caused serious health hazards in the exposed population. The typical symptoms of arsenicosis are observed in the exposed population mostly skin manifestations such as hyperkeratosis, melanosis, loss of appetite, neuro-behavioral disorders etc. Hence, the present study aims to develop novel drug discovery against arsenic induced toxicity in rat models. In the present study treatment groups received sodium arsenite orally at the dose of 8 mg/kg body weight daily for 90 days followed by administration of Ocimum sanctum (Tulsi) seed extract at the dose of 500 mg/ kg body weight daily by gavage method for 60 days. Their biochemical levels like liver and kidney function tests were assayed and were found with elevated levels. Furthermore, their free radical assessment such as lipid peroxidation levels were assayed which was also found to be many folds higher. Furthermore, the arsenic concentration in the tissue of liver and kidney was significantly very high. But, after the administration of ethanolic seed extract of Ocimum sanctum, there was significant restoration in the biochemical and lipid peroxidation levels. Moreover, there was also reduction in the arsenic content in the liver and kidney tissues of rats. The phytoremedial effect of this novel plant (Ocimum sanctum) denotes that it possesses antidote effect against arsenic induced toxicity.","PeriodicalId":509303,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Advanced Zoology","volume":"34 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140242082","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Shwitra (Vitiligo) is a condition that is referenced in the classic Kushta Roga Chikitsa and affects a significant section of the pediatric population as a result of poor dietary and lifestyle choices. Shwitra \"Shweta Bhava Michanti Shwitram\" is what the Kashyapa Samhita says. Kilasa, Daruna, Aruna, and Shweta Kushta are some more names for it. In contemporary medicine, vitiligo is referred to as an auto immune illness and manifests as a white patch on the skin. A widespread, progressive, chronic skin illness called vitiligo is characterized by patches of skin with sharp, frequently hyperpigmented edges caused by a lack of melanin pigments. Approximately 1% of people worldwide suffer from this illness. This condition is included under the general topic of Shwitra in Ayurveda. Every Acharya has the same opinion that the two primary therapeutic modalities mentioned in the classics—Samshodhan Karma and Samshaman Karma—should be used to treat Shwitra or Kushtha first. In their various Samhitas, Acharyas have specified a variety of internal and external uses, as well as sun exposure, for Shaman Chikitsa in the Shwitra Roga. Samhitas discuss a wide range of single and combination medications; among them, Shwitrahar Kashaya and lepa are mentioned in detail. One of them is chosen and shown to be useful for the investigation.","PeriodicalId":509303,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Advanced Zoology","volume":"70 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140242385","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The novel \"A Time to Kill\" by John Grisham serves as a source of inspiration for this investigation. The study employs a rigorous literary analysis methodology to investigate how Attorney Jake Brigance strategically employs the concept of temporary insanity to navigate the intricate mechanisms of justice. More precisely, the study focuses on how Attorney Brigance takes advantage of that concept. The purpose of this analysis is to dissect the intricate relationship that exists between an individual's psyche and the prejudices that are prevalent in society by delving into the psychological motivations that drive the characters. The purpose of this research is to shed light on the psychological impact of racial prejudice in challenging legal scenarios by examining the emotions that are evoked in both the audience and the characters. These emotions influence decision-making processes and the outcomes of legal cases. This investigation contributes to a deeper understanding of societal issues and the intricate psychological dynamics that are inherent in navigating the legal system in the face of prejudice and injustice. The research paper aims to be accomplished by conducting a comprehensive examination of the psychological themes and legal aspects that are present in Grisham's work.","PeriodicalId":509303,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Advanced Zoology","volume":"35 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140243053","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
