We study on the atomic soliton Josephson junctions (SJJs) device and subsequently compare and analyze it with atomic bosonic Josephson junctions (BJJs). Moreover, we use higher-order expressions of the auxiliary equations to optimize the results and weaken the detrimental effect of the sloshing amplitude. We find that in the adiabatic shortcut evolution of two systems with time-containing tunnelling rates, the SJJs system is more robust over a rather short time evolution. In comparison with linear ramping, the STA technique is easier to achieve with the precise modulation of the quantum state in the SJJs system.","PeriodicalId":508917,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Theoretical Physics","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141686809","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analysis focused on the relic density of Dirac-type fermion DM and highlighted the complementary role of direct detection (DD) in constraining the DM model. Notably, in instances when DM mass is small, the tree-level two-body annihilation process experiences suppression. In such scenarios, the contributions of the three-body process and the one-loop process dominate the relic abundance. Concerning DD, calculations were performed for the two-loop contribution to the DM-gluon interaction, yielding the corresponding spin-independent scattering cross-section.","PeriodicalId":508917,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Theoretical Physics","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140962705","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two types of thin illumination conditions are studied, named spherical accretion and disk accretion. As the hairy parameter increases, the size of the photon sphere and photon rings in both models decreases, and the overall luminosity attenuation becomes more pronounced. In spherical accretion, the luminosity of infalling accretion is significantly lower than that of stationary accretion. In disk accretion the luminosity of the black hole is contributed by direct emission, lensing ring and photon ring. With four types of astrophysical disk luminosity model employed, we investigate the appearance of halos and note that the luminosity of them do not superimpose when the source is on and beyond the innermost stable circular orbit.","PeriodicalId":508917,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Theoretical Physics","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140964874","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our primary goal is to explore quasi-exactly solvable problems by introducing an extended ring-shaped potential. We utilize the Bethe ansatz method to determine the angular solutions, while the radial solutions are obtained using special functions. Our findings demonstrate that the eigenvalue solutions of quantum particles are intricately influenced by the presence of the topological defect of the cosmic string, resulting in significant modifications compared to those in a flat space background. The existence of the topological defect induces alterations in the energy spectra, disrupting degeneracy. Afterwards, we extend our analysis to study the same problem in the presence of a ring-shaped potential against the background of another topological defect geometry known as a point-like global monopole. Following a similar procedure, we obtain the eigenvalue solutions and analyze the results. Remarkably, we observe that the presence of a global monopole leads to a decrease in the energy levels compared to the flat space results. In both cases, we conduct a thorough numerical analysis to validate our findings.","PeriodicalId":508917,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Theoretical Physics","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140967158","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Considering the scalar field modifications through monopole and dipole radiations, we find additional contributions to the phase evolution in the emitted gravitational waveform. After effectively calculating such effect in the post-Newtonian order, we are in a position to measure the scalar field and give bounds on the BD coupling parameter $omega_{BD}$. We derive the analytical expression for the phase modification due to the orbital eccentricity of eccentric binaries in both general relativity and BD theory. Employing the Bayesian analysis, we obtain the constraints on $omega_{BD}$ from the GW events GW200105 and GW200115.","PeriodicalId":508917,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Theoretical Physics","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140976916","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The stationary-state Schrodinger equation for quantum scattering process is obtained for such systems. Then, using partial wave analysis, we introduce new form of entanglement fidelity considering effect of high-intensity laser beam fields. The effective potential of hot quantum plasma including plasmon and quantum screening effects is used to obtain the entanglement fidelity ratio as a function of the laser amplitude, plasmon and Debye length parameters for the elastic electron-ion collisions. It is shown that the plasma free electrons oscillations under interaction with laser beam fields improve the correlations between charged particles and consequently leads to the increase in the system entanglement.","PeriodicalId":508917,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Theoretical Physics","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140972673","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many solute elements are added to superalloys for strengthening. However, the relationship between the clustering behavior of solute atoms and the properties of nickel-based single-crystal superalloys is still unclear. Herein, we conduct first-principles calculations on γ phases with Mo−Mo and Mo−Mo−Ru clusters to reveal the possibility and stabilizing mechanism of solute clusters. Introducing Mo lowers the total energy, binding energy, and formation energy of the γ phase due to the replacement of weak Ni−Ni interaction with strong Mo−Ni bonding. Note that the γ phase containing the Mo−Mo cluster is more stable than that containing Mo single atom, possibly owing to a wide affecting range. Ru atom added to γ phase can further boost system stability, and it tends to form a Mo−Mo−Ru cluster. The stabilizing impact of the Mo−Mo−Ru cluster is demonstrated to be the replacement of weak Ni−Mo interaction by the strong Ru−Mo interaction, which may be derived from the enhanced d-orbital hybridization.","PeriodicalId":508917,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Theoretical Physics","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140975839","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While multicaloric effects are main focus of experimental endeavors, theoretical considerations fall short of providing a thorough understanding. This paper introduces a comprehensive presentation on multicaloric effects, employing the method and theory of exterior derivative formations. It addresses every aspects of thermodynamic systems, showcasing its applicability to multicaloric materials (both single-phase and multi-phase materials), and its adaptability to different scenarios (either a single or multiple force fields). The formulation of Maxwell relationships, characterized by their generality and universality, enables a clear prediction in entropy and temperature, facilitating a distinct identification between independent and interdependent contributions from multicaloric effects.These insights hold significant importance in designing and developing specialized thermodynamic materials, optimizing functional performances and exploring innovative mechanisms.","PeriodicalId":508917,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Theoretical Physics","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140979187","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we propose two quantum support vector machine algorithms for multi classification. One is the quantum version of directed acyclic graph support vector machine. The other one is to use the Grover search algorithm before measurement, which amplifies the amplitude of the phase stored in the classification result. For $k$ classification, the former provides quadratic reduction in computational complexity when classifying. The latter accelerates the training speed significantly and more importantly, the classification result can be read out with a probability of at least 50% using only one measurement. We conduct numerical simulations on two algorithms, and their classification success rates are 96% and 88.7%, respectively.","PeriodicalId":508917,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Theoretical Physics","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140996880","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The interaction is caused by surface-induced polarization of the liquid crystal molecules in the vicinity of the particles. We found that the interaction is short-ranged in both 2D and 3D geometry. Under symmetric homeotropic anchoring conditions, the interaction is repulsive. While under anti-symmetric homeotropic anchoring conditions, the interaction is repulsive at short distances but attractive at intermediate distances.
