The hybrid test method was used in the research process. The experimental and control groups are the first factors in the model used. The second factor is the preliminary test, the final test, and the follow-up research. A total of 24 undergraduate students participated in the research, including 12 students in the experimental group and 12 students in the control group. The independent variable of the research is the Psychological Counseling Program with Positive Psychology and Positive Psychotherapy Oriented Group. The dependent variable of the research is the levels of “Internet Addiction,”,” “Emotional Intelligence,” and “Happiness Increasing Strategies” of the individuals participating in the study. Ethics committee approval was obtained from “Yıldız Technical University” for the study. The analysis of the data was carried out with the SPSS Statistical 26 version. It was carried out with the Two-Factor ANOVA Test for Mixed Measurements of whether there is a difference between the scale pre-test, post-test, and follow-up test scores of the students in the control or experimental group. Post Hoc Tests were used to specify differences between the groups. Their importance can vary from person to person. Schwartz's concept of value is defined as guiding principles in the lives of people or other social formations. These include freedom, equality, and environmental protection. Schwartz created 10 basic value groups that are thought to have universal characteristics. The aforementioned values are divided into the following groups: self-direction, universality, benevolence, stimulation, hedonism, achievement, power, security, conformity, and tradition. According to Schwartz, spiritual values in individuals are associated with the dimensions of universality, benevolence, self-direction, and self-transcendence. At the same time, it seems that spirituality overlaps with the values of tradition and conformity, which are closely related to religiosity. In contrast, personality refers to a set of unique, consistent, and enduring characteristics in individuals, encompassing their emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. McCrae and Costa posit that personality traits are grouped under five dimensions: extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism, conscientiousness, and openness to experience. Some personality theories posit that spirituality is a part of personality. In this respect, personality and spirituality are closely related. The principal objective of this research is to ascertain whether the personality dimensions of extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism, conscientiousness, and openness to experience are predictive of values pertaining to security, power, benevolence, stimulation, traditionalism, hedonism, universalism, self-direction, achievement, and conformity. To this end, a multiple regression model incorporating these variables was constructed and subjected to testing in the study. The study group consisted of 308 high school students studying in Niğde in the 2021-2022 academic year. The study group comprised 173 women (56.2%) and 135 men (43.8%). The ages of the study group ranged between 14 and 18 years (mean age = 16.39; standard deviation = 0.87). The results of the regression analysis indicated that personality dimensions predicted the values. In order to create the necessary item pool for the scale, the literature was reviewed and in this context, a question pool of 44 items was created and expert opinions were taken. After the revisions in the items, Lawshe Technique was used to determine the content validity. 300 faculty members were administered the scale and a data set was obtained, which was analyzed for validity and reliability. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was used to reveal the construct validity of the scale, Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient, item-total score correlation and two-half test reliability methods were used to ensure the reliability of the scale, and lower 27%-upper 27% independent groups t-test was used for the discrimination of the scale. As a result of EFA, a 26-item, 3-factor structure emerged. This structure explains 59.647% of the total variance of the scale. Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient for the reliability of the scale was found to be 0.952. It was observed that the item total correlation values were high and positive above 0.5 and the correlation values of all items were above 0.30, which is recommended as the lower limit. According to the results of the two-half test reliability analysis, the correlation coefficient between the equivalent halves was found to be 0.942.
