This algorithm integrates the user's social trust into the similarity calculation formula. Then, the algorithm uses behavioral feature data driven by preferences, music tags, and popularity as the basis for recommendation calculation. It adopts user data testing on an online music teaching platform. The results showed that when the number of recommended music was eight, the recommended recall rates of XCF, CTR, TSR, and UB-CF recommendation models reached their maximum, reaching 97.82%, 95.26%, 93.95%, and 88.72%, respectively. The AUC and average computational time of the ROC curves for XCF, CTR, TSR, and UB-CF recommended models are 0.7, 0.68, 0.64, 0.57, and 160ms, 136ms, 114ms, and 88ms, respectively. The experimental data shows that the recommendation accuracy of the music recommendation model designed in this study is significantly higher than that of traditional recommendation models.","PeriodicalId":506438,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Web-Based Learning and Teaching Technologies","volume":"95 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139838080","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, how to cultivate students' ability to learn English independently in the current era remains to be studied. Under the background of big data, it is very important for today's education to make effective use of this technological advantage to explore scientific and reasonable strategies, stimulate college students' attention to English autonomous learning, and explore the learning process. Investigating the value of specific big data technology is also an important consideration in this study. At the same time, graduate students who are not English majors usually have fewer English courses, and students' English level is also very different. Therefore, we should also pay attention to improving students' oral English ability and pay special attention to the cultivation of students' self-discipline and autonomous learning ability.","PeriodicalId":506438,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Web-Based Learning and Teaching Technologies","volume":"55 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139779275","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Aiming to give an insight into learner engagement, motivation, and learning performance in MOOCs in the post-pandemic time, this study reviewed 52 articles through VOSviewer clustering and preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. It is concluded that learners' engagement in MOOCs is restricted by their own management strategy and psychological factors; in addition, learners in MOOCs are motivated by internal or external factors, thus making different responses; lastly, the study finds that in addition to engagement and motivation, the technical conditions of online learning can also affect learning performance to a large or small extent.
