Comfortable lobby conditions can reduce anxiety when patients have to wait their turn to be examined or wait for medicine from the pharmacy. Apart from that, the comfortable lobby creates optimism for recovery for patients and their families, including medical personnel who work at the hospital. This research aims to measure how significant the influence of room comfort, thermal comfort, visual comfort and audio comfort is on the comfort of the lobby room seen from the architectural design of the room. The benefits of the research enrich the results of previous research that building comfort variables influence the dynamics of perceptions of physical comfort. The research uses quantitative methods and data collection techniques are carried out by direct observation and questionnaires that are distributed to hospital visitors, managers, medical teams and patients. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods to assess the comfort level of the hospital lobby. From the results of this research, it is concluded that the aspect of freedom of movement has the greatest influence on the comfort level of the lobby space, so it must be taken into consideration when designing a hospital lobby that is comfortable for visitors.","PeriodicalId":505583,"journal":{"name":"Devotion : Journal of Research and Community Service","volume":"610 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140446810","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In its production, supportive instruments are needed to enhance both quality and economic aspects. Formwork, or shuttering, is a crucial factor in the casting and hardening of concrete. The subject of this research is wooden formwork and its alternatives, analyzed in terms of cost, quality, time, and convenience using the Value Engineering Job Plan analysis. In terms of cost, there is a cost savings of 8.88% for DUO polymer formwork compared to the conventional plywood method. The resulting surface quality of the concrete of this method has a average roughness of 3.492. The total duration of the work is 16.54791 days. The total value index obtained for the use of DUO polymer formwork is 98.99, for the plywood film formwork is 48.17, and for conventional plywood formwork is 0.00. Thus, in terms of value, the DUO polymer plastic formwork can be recommended as the best formwork method for multi-story building construction. Considering the advantages and disadvantages of this method, along with the benefits obtained, it would be even more beneficial on a larger construction scale.","PeriodicalId":505583,"journal":{"name":"Devotion : Journal of Research and Community Service","volume":"37 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140447731","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research uses quantitative methods with causality and the data methods used in this research are descriptive statistics, panel data regression, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests and coefficient of determination using Eviews 12. The population of this research is mining sector companies listed on the Stock Exchange Indonesia from 2019 to 2022. The sample was determined based on the purposive sampling method, with a sample size of 20 so that the total observations in this study were 78 observations. The data used in this research is secondary data. The data collection method uses the documentation method via the official website www.bei.co.id Hypothesis testing uses the t test. Based on the results of panel data linear regression, it shows that the influence of environmental performance with carbon emission disclosure explains that environmental performance is the company's ability to create a green and clean environment. In accordance with legitimacy theory, social relations between companies and society require companies to comply with norms that apply in society, one of which is by protecting the environment, if the company wants to gain legitimacy from society. Then company size can moderate the influence of environmental performance and emission volume on carbon disclosure. The reason company size moderates environmental performance on the disclosure of carbon emissions is that the higher the level of assets of a company, the greater or greater the disclosure of social information made by the company. So it provides a commitment to the interests of the company but must provide benefits to its stakeholders. So that partial profitability has no effect on carbon emissions disclosure, while the volume of carbon emissions has an effect on carbon disclosure.","PeriodicalId":505583,"journal":{"name":"Devotion : Journal of Research and Community Service","volume":"28 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139610534","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
