The new genus is similar to Humphaplotropis Xiao, Yin et Yin, 2013, but differs from the latter by the hump-formed pronotum along the median keel being deeply cut by hind sulcus and hence divided in two waves in lateral view, the anterior margin being acutely angular in the middle, the apex not reaching the hindmargin of the eyes, the frontal ridge being widened at the median ocellus, and the abdomen having large teeth along the median keel in lateral view. A key to the three genera of this Chinese tribe is given. The known fauna of the Lepidoptera of the Arkhangelsk oblast now includes 1,140 species (604 species of microlepidoptera and 536 species of macrolepidoptera), which we presume to represent slightly more than a half of the potential diversity of Lepidoptera of the oblast.","PeriodicalId":50520,"journal":{"name":"Entomologica Fennica","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44193811","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Secondary hosts of this aphid are different plant species from the family Poaceae, including Zea L. Considering the steady increase in maize cultivation area in Europe, the species can become a potential threat to this cereal. We present the morphological characteristics of winged morphs developing in galls on trees from the genus Ulmus L. Those characteristics enable to distinguish this species from Tetraneura (Tetraneura) ulmi (Linnaeus, 1758), which dominates on elms in northwestern Europe. The data on the distribution of T. (T.) nigriabdominalis in Europe are also provided.","PeriodicalId":50520,"journal":{"name":"Entomologica Fennica","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41928508","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Alloxysta hendrickxi (Benoit, 1956) and Alloxysta pilosa Ferrer-Suay & Pujade-Villar, 2013, are recorded from Europe for the first time. All the other species identified are recorded for the first time from central Europe, mostly from the Czech and Slovak Republics but also from Slovenia and Poland. Soil skeleton and size of the particles were significant environmental factors, with Lithobius austriacus, Lithobius erythrocephalus and Lithobius nodulipes preferring stony soils. The isopods Ligidium hypnorum and Hyloniscus riparius were closely bound to heavy soils with a high clay content, which was related to increased soil moisture and indication ofwaterlogged soils. Soil reaction (pH/KCl) was less associated with the occurrence of the studied invertebrates. The soils with higher skeleton content and a favourable moisture regime containing more Ca2+ and Mg2+ were more attractive to some centipedes (Strigamia acuminata, Lithobius microps) and isopods (Trachelipus ratzebargii, Oniscus asellus, Porcellio scaber).","PeriodicalId":50520,"journal":{"name":"Entomologica Fennica","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45405723","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The bumblebee fauna comprised 12 species, which is a large number when compared to other native tundra ecosystems. Most of the species recorded were ubiquitous, 3 were forest species and 2 were typical tundra species. The presence of the ubiquitous and forest species in the bumblebee community appears to be due to the landscape features and the perennial impact of the hot springs, under the influence of which specific extrazonal ecosystems arise that are different from those typical of the tundra zone.","PeriodicalId":50520,"journal":{"name":"Entomologica Fennica","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45498291","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
