In this study, Copper as nanoparticle with water as its base fluid has been considered. The governing partial differential equations subjected to appropriate boundary conditions were derived and solved semi-analytically with homotopy perturbation method (HPM). The effects of physical parameters are graphically presented for varies values such as, the nanofluid volume fraction, Hartmann number and Reynolds number on non-dimensional velocity and temperature profile are considered. The results show that, increase in nanoparticle volume fraction increase the amount of heat transfer to the nanofluid and hence its temperature increases.","PeriodicalId":505017,"journal":{"name":"Engineering Research Journal","volume":"35 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141398395","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, these commercial streets containing those large group of values, must be preserved. The research problem arises from the fact there has been transformations occurring in the commercial activities occupying those commercial streets. Those transformation could be presented through the emergence of some new activities with that aren’t matching to the heritage areas, the disappearance of other activities and the change in existing ones. This can affect the heritage values of those areas. Therefore, this paper aims to study the heritage areas, the types of their commercial streets, and the types of commercial activities occupying them, especially within Heliopolis area. After analyzing the case study, a group of transformations that occurred in commercial activities, could be observed. By studying the transformations, and their causes, the impact of transformation on the heritage areas could be deduced.","PeriodicalId":505017,"journal":{"name":"Engineering Research Journal","volume":"28 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141402851","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the model faced limitations in predicting volatile fatty acid (VFA) dynamics, especially at high OLRs, due to the presence of excess organic matter.In a 37-day experiment of maize silage digestion in a 50-liter anaerobic reactor, it was shown that the AM2 model accurately estimates biogas production, with feeding intervals of fifteen minutes and a pause during weekends.The extended AM2 model was calibrated to ADM1 for grass silage simulation in 2015b. The ADM1 simulation was unsteady initially, with inconsistent biogas flow and alkalinity output profiles, which were stabilized by increasing the disintegration process parameter, , to 0.266 based on a literature review. The profiles demonstrated stability, and an identical initial parameter was suggested for .The organic loading rate (OLR) and hydraulic retention time (HRT) were set at 3.58 kg ODM and 33.09 days, respectively. The extended AM2 model successfully simulated biogas and methane flow rate profiles, indicating better performance than ADM1 for grass silage digestion simulation.Cattle manure digestion is simulated using an extended AM2 model calibrated to ADM1, based on literature parameters. Manure composition analysis determines the influent composition of organic fractions. Manure is valuable for agriculture, enhancing soil structure and nutrient availability, with some nutrients persisting despite cow digestion. A heat pipe is designed, constructed, and tested for the investigation. The experiments are conducted on a heat pipe rotating at speeds of 250-1500rpm , with Taylor numbers ranging from 3.0×10 7 to 1.1×10 9 , and heat fluxes from 2090 to 16700W/m 2 . The heat pipe is charged with water as a working fluid, filling 100% of the evaporator volume. The effect of liquid charging is also examined, varying between 5 and 55% of the heat pipe’s inner volume. The results demonstrate that rotation significantly enhances the heat pipe’s performance. The effective thermal conductivity of heat pipes increases by 30-40% for heat flux ranging from 2090 to 8350 W/m 2 , and approximately 20% for higher heat fluxes as the Taylor number increases from 3.0×10 7 to 1.1×10 9 . The best performance of the rotating heat pipe is achieved at the highest Taylor number of 1.1x10 9 and the lowest heat flux of 2090 W/m 2 , resulting in a remarkable 9.47-fold increase in effective thermal conductivity compared to copper. The study also identifies the optimum liquid charge for the heat pipe, which is found to be about 35% of the inner pipe volume.","PeriodicalId":505017,"journal":{"name":"Engineering Research Journal","volume":"1 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141398736","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main design objective of such a frame is driver safety while enhancing structure rigidity. Explicit dynamics analysis provides the designer with the effects of the impact on the structure frame members regarding energy, dynamic stress, and acceleration. The tubular frame 3D model is introduced in SolidWorks considering the powertrain system and driver weights. Then, the frame is subjected to a frontal crash scenario to a fixed full-width rigid barrier in the ANSYS workbench. The explicit dynamics model improves the accuracy and computational efficiency of the analysis, however, a validation was used the lumped mass-spring (LMS) system is executed in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment as an alternative computation technique to ensure FEA simulation results. A 3 DOF dynamic model is utilized to investigate the system's equations of motion in the forward direction. Three main zones are considered including the front bulkhead, roll-cage, and rear engine compartment to represent the mass model accelerations. The deflection values of the vehicle frame according to the frontal crash loading condition are studied, however, the frame members' stiffness was measured experimentally. Finally, the two analysis methods were compared for vehicle frame safety evaluation. The results of the explicit dynamics simulation along with the calculated lumped-mass spring system results indicate that the designed space frame achieves the requirements of structure rigidity regarding the frontal crash scenario condition, and the results of the two models satisfy the model rigidity in terms of deflection, energy absorption and vehicle acceleration.","PeriodicalId":505017,"journal":{"name":"Engineering Research Journal","volume":"38 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141402330","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
