These new platforms are widely used in Afghanistan for various purposes. Given Afghanistan's high vulnerability to climate change impacts, the country requires effective public awareness and communication strategies across both traditional and new media. To inform policymaking for collective climate action, there is a need to analyze the content of social media discourse on climate change. The primary aim of this study is to explore climate change communication on the X platform to develop effective policies and strategies for leveraging social media, particularly the X platform, to communicate about climate change impacts in Afghanistan. The study employed a descriptive research design combined with a content analysis approach. The results indicate that the social media discourse revolved around key themes, including climate change impacts, Afghanistan's vulnerability to droughts, flash floods, monsoon rains, and unexpected snowfall, the lack of funding for climate change communication and mitigation efforts, and the disproportionate impact on women. The analysis also found that the total user engagement during the five-month study period reached 424,522 interactions, including reposts, replies, likes, and views. The findings of this study can inform the development of targeted, evidence-based communication strategies and policies to raise public awareness and catalyze collective action on climate change in Afghanistan, leveraging the reach and engagement potential of social media platforms.","PeriodicalId":504831,"journal":{"name":"Sprin Journal of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"25 20","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141814514","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to its vast territorial reach from Kabul to Bengal, with natural boundaries such as the Arabian Sea and Himalayas, this dynasty was able to establish sophisticated formal institutions that surpassed those of other empires worldwide at that time. This study examines the complex governance system of The Mughal Empire, with a focus on the reigns of Babur, Humayun, Akbar, and Aurangzeb. Abul-Fazl Ibn Mubarak, a prominent historian during Akbar's reign, elucidated the Mughals' adoption of the dual strategies of 'JahanBani' (state maintenance) and 'Jahangiri' (imperial expansion). The article also examines Akbar's reforms in land revenue systems, which aimed to provide uniformity and economic stability in order to sustain the Empire's prosperity. The inclusion of women in the Mughal court is examined to highlight their cultural, political, and social achievements. This examination thoroughly explores the functioning of the Mughal administration and how it effectively maintained the empire's supremacy.","PeriodicalId":504831,"journal":{"name":"Sprin Journal of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"3 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141668144","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These individuals are referred to as juveniles because they are not yet deemed mature enough to be held accountable for their actions in committing a crime. This article examines the various aspects of juvenile delinquency in India, with a particular emphasis on the state of Uttar Pradesh. The study examines the laws, organizations, and social and economic elements that influence the development of juvenile justice in this heavily populated and diversified state. The research endeavours to illuminate the effectiveness of juvenile justice policies and procedures by employing a blend of legal analysis, empirical research, and case studies. The research utilizes a broad interdisciplinary approach to examine the underlying causes, prevalent patterns, and socio-economic factors that contribute to juvenile delinquency. The study seeks to reveal the distinct contextual elements that impact rates of adolescent delinquency. Furthermore, it examines the efficacy of current rehabilitation and intervention programs, doing a thorough evaluation of their influence on the rehabilitation of juvenile offenders. The paper aims to provide significant insights to the academic discussion and policy formulation about juvenile justice in India. In the fast-changing contemporary landscape, it is necessary to periodically update the rules pertaining to juvenile justice and the imperative of safeguarding and nurturing them. Although the 2021 Amendment law has been officially published in the gazette, it is still pending enforcement by the central authority. In theory, the process of identifying answers and making necessary changes to the law is one aspect. However, the crucial point that remains is the timing and the level of effectiveness at which these changes will be put into practice and considered successful.","PeriodicalId":504831,"journal":{"name":"Sprin Journal of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":" 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141671871","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Russians called it a \"shadow tournament,\" but the British invented the phrase \"Great Game.\" The ascent to prominence of Amir Dost Muhammad Khan was seen by the British as a danger to their interests in India. It was claimed that by using Amir, Russia was intruding on India's borders. Russia's ambitions for regional expansion coincided with the British invasion of Afghanistan. The British redirected their attention to Afghanistan as a result of this development. The British persevered even after they were unable to persuade Amir Dost Muhammad Khan to sign a treaty that would have ended Russian control. Russia continued to communicate with the Amir of Kabul during this time. Consequently, in 1839 the British launched an invasion of Afghanistan, which restored Shah Shuja to his former position. A long-lasting and deadly power battle between the Sadozais and the Barakzais, two sections of the Durrani tribe, took place in Afghanistan in the early 1800s. Dost Mohammad Khan was named the new Emir of Kabul after the Barakzais won the civil war. However, in the midst of the internal strife, Ranjit Singh, the ruler of the Sikh kingdom, took control of Peshawar. This led to a huge and irreversible conflict of interest between Afghanistan and the Sikh state. In addition to identifying the crucial person who made the choice that ultimately sparked hostilities, the essay aims to make clear how these factors interacted and contributed to the start of the conflict. This invasion was a major blow to the British, and it was a turning moment in modern history because it was the first time the Afghans and the British had faced off, which ultimately led to the British's defeat. For its inquiry and study, this article uses a descriptive research approach and technique.","PeriodicalId":504831,"journal":{"name":"Sprin Journal of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":" 13","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141367222","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For individuals who are acquiring knowledge of the English language, it serves as an exceptional method to enhance their skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Poetry is an excellent method for instructing English due to its authenticity, capacity to enable children to articulate their thoughts and emotions, its role as a remarkable cultural representative, and its ability to enhance their language proficiency. Poetry is sometimes regarded as the most intricate genre of literature, as it explores a broad spectrum of lyrical, dramatic, and narrative themes. When teaching English through poetry, teachers must consider various elements, including the students' proficiency level, the selected texts, and their teaching approach. Examining the definition of poetry and its core components in great detail is challenging, if not unachievable, due to the lack of prior exploration on the subject. Poets have characterized poetry as the harmonious manifestation that arises from the fusion of intellect and imagination. Authors have included intellectual concepts and notions into poetry, alongside the rhythmic and imaginative aspects of the belletrists.","PeriodicalId":504831,"journal":{"name":"Sprin Journal of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":" 31","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141370759","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
