There is a lack of studies on health profile in street vendors in big cities. This study was conducted with as objective to know the socio demographic profile, health status in relation to their working pattern and habits among the street vendors. Material and Methods: This is a cross sectional and descriptive study. The data was collected by direct interviewing the subjects in their own language at their workplace in Bangalore city using pre tested semi open ended questionnaire. Sample size was determined based on the pilot study. The data included socio demographic, type of business, earning, working years, preexisting health status, body weight and height, habits etc. Subjects who were doing service or selling on mobile carts but not at fixed point and street vendors serving ready to eat foods were excluded. Body Mass Index was estimated as anthropometric nutritional status assessment. Data was analysed in SPSS software version. Results: The study subjects were 275 in the age group of 20 to 70 years and males accounted for 62.5 percentage. The proportion of subjects in the age of 41 years and above was 52.3%. Majority did not have formal schooling and common business was fruits and vegetables selling. Their working hours varying from 4 to 10, and doing business since 2 to 30 years with median of 20 years. The habit of smoking, tobacco chewing and alcohol was present in 30.2%, 14.5% and 14.2% the total. Overweight and obesity accounted for 78.9 % among the total where 19.8% and 25.2% were obese in males and females. The overall prevalence of Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus and other conditions were 30.5%, 23.6% and 7.2% irrespective of their age, sex, type of business, working hours and habits. Carica papaya leaves juice is said to be increase platelet count and improve haematocrit. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of Carica papaya leaf juice on plasma leakage and platelet count in child patients with DF and DHF. Methods: This randomized controlled trial was conducted among 77 children with DF and DHF. Patients were purposively selected from the inpatient department of Dhaka Shishu hospital from July 2018 to December 2019. Patients were randomly allocated in group A and group B. Group A patients received standard treatment along with a bottle containing C. papaya leaves juice 10 ml single morning dose 15 minutes after breakfast for three consecutive days and group B patients received only standard management as per the National Guideline for Clinical Management of Dengue Syndrome, 2018. Three patients in group A and two patients in group B dropped out from the study. Results: There was no significant difference between the groups regarding age, sex, mean duration, type and severity of fever between the groups (p>.05). In group A, the mean platelet count increased from 105000.00/ mL to 152428.57/mL after 48 hours and it reached to 212228.57/mL at 72hrs. In group B, the mean platelet count initially decreased from 129485.71/ mL to 91114.28/mL after 48 hours and then it increased to 96142.85/mL at 72 hours. There was highly significant statistical difference between group A and group B at 48 hours and at 72 hours regarding mean platelet count as p<.001. Haematocrit values become significantly normal in group A then group B by 72 hours and p˂.05. Additionally, the challenge arises when dealing with patients on antiplatelet or anticoagulant medications due to the associated risk of bleeding, hence the significance of RTUP-b. The objective of our study is to compare the functional outcomes and immediate postoperative complications between these two techniques and to identify predictive factors for complications. Methods: This is a prospective randomized study conducted between January 2022 and September 2022. The variables age, BMI, surgical indication, transrectal prostate volume, ASA classification (American Society of Anesthesiologists), previous pharmacological treatments, IPSS score, quality of life index (QLI), maximum flow rate (Qmax) and postoperative complications were collected. The Chi2 test and Student's t-test were used for statistical analysis. Results: Sixty-nine consecutive patients were included, 38 patients in the monopolar TURP group and 31 in the bipolar TURP group. Both groups were homogeneous in their baseline characteristics. The overall pre-surgical IPSS/QLI/Qmax score was 24,03/4,73/9,47. Functional results at 1st and 3rd month are shown in Table 1. For complications, see Table 2 and 3. These differences were not statistically significant (p = 0,427): the most frequent were hematuria (9,4%) and febrile urinary tract infections (9,4%). Only one patient presented hyponatremia due to glycocol reabsorption in the monopolar group. All complications were Clavien 1 or 2. The different anatomical varieties of the lower calcific group can vary the results of treatment at this site. The objective of the study is to analyze the influence of the anatomy of the lower calyceal group (LCG) on the results of ESWL. Materials: A prospective observational study involving 57 patients with LCG stones who were treated by ESWL in our department between January 2021 December 2022 according to the French recommendations of the AFU lithiasis committee. Unfavorable LCG anatomy was defined according to Sampaio's criteria: a length of the inferior stem caliceal lower >10 mm, a width<5 mm and an infundibulo-pelvic angle < 90º. Fragment-free rate was assessed 3 months after ESWL with tomography urography (CTU). Failure was considered as the existence of fragments ≥ 3mm, the need for ancillary procedures after ESWL (ureterscopy, RIRS, PCNL or new ESWL), complications and risk factors associated with the development of perirenal hematoma were analyzed. Results: The median age was 48,5 years (range: 22-68), with 66,66% of the participants being men (38 men and 19 women). Approximately 14,03 % (n=8) of the patients were taking antiplatelet/anticoagulant drugs, and 8,77 % (n= 5) had High blood pressure. The median size of the lithiasis was 10 mm (range: 5-20 mm), with favorable LCG anatomy observed in 45,61 % (n= 26/57) of patients, including 34,61 % (n= 9/26) who required ancillary procedures after ESWL, compared to 64,51% (n= 20/31) in patients with unfavorable anatomy (54,39 % = 31/57). The stone-free after ESWL for both groups combined was 54,38 % (n= 31/57). Auxiliary procedures included ureteroscopy or RIRS.
