Ao encapsular as células em microcápsulas, cria-se uma matriz tridimensional que proporciona retenção celular prolongada. Com base nesse contexto, objetivou-se avaliar a imobilização de isolados de Trichoderma em alginato de cálcio e avaliar a viabilidade e determinar a temperatura ideal para armazenar os fungos imobilizados. Para produção dos grânulos foram utilizados amido e alginato de sódio, que juntamente com cada isolado foi gotejado em solução de cloreto de cálcio. Para avaliar a viabilidade dos fungos encapsulados e a melhor condição de armazenamento, foram realizados testes com os grânulos armazenados nas temperaturas ambiente, geladeira e freezer. Foi possível obter cápsulas de alginato íntegras, e a avaliação da concentração dos conídios durante 21 dias de armazenamento em diferentes ambientes mostrou que os mesmos se mantiveram viáveis (107 conídios g-1).","PeriodicalId":504826,"journal":{"name":"Diversitas Journal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140436080","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Beneficiaries were asked about changes that resulted from their participation in the program. Themes were identified from these changes. Bennett’s hierarchy of program outcomes served as basis in determining levels to which collected changes correspond. There were 105 stories in total. These referred to changes economically, socially as well as changes in beneficiaries’ knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Results revealed that the OAP Training Program brought about changes at higher levels that were in line with Bennett’s hierarchy. The OAP Training Program brought impacts to beneficiaries economic and social circumstances as well as knowledge, attitudes, and skills.","PeriodicalId":504826,"journal":{"name":"Diversitas Journal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140441581","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study concentrated on the online shopping experiences and reactions of selected faculty members by identifying key observations, and consumer experiences on the web that emphasize browsing, purchasing, and online flow. The researchers used phenomenology as a qualitative research method to collect responses from twenty buyers who varied in consumer experience, gender, and age. The interview was tailored to each participant based on online information and a guide question. Results of the interviews revealed that some faculty members at a local university in Manila find online businesses to be both popular and convenient, while they can readily access online marketplaces. In addition, they purchase frequently using this platform due to the low prices, which is advantageous for them as consumers, although they are wary of con artists and fake buyers/sellers. Meanwhile, the challenges encountered by buyers include product complexities and meet-up changes, as well as the central issues of online trust and social connection. Despite the fact that some product acquisitions are difficult, the study found that appropriateness, price setting, and seller connections kept customers purchasing on the online market. Despite offering valuable insights into the faculty members’ online purchasing experience, this research has a number of limitations. The study is predicated on a twenty-participant qualitative investigation that was conducted primarily in Manila. Consequently, future research should involve populations from different regions. Numerous opportunities exist for future research to build on these findings. The development of a typology of online encounters and circumstances is one of the suggested areas for future study. \u0000","PeriodicalId":504826,"journal":{"name":"Diversitas Journal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140441524","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The modification of mangrove pens was done by adding excavations inside the pen. The water quality parameters (dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, salinity, and temperature) were monitored, and the recovery and production rates in each pen were evaluated. The experiment was conducted for a rearing period of 143 days in nine mangrove pens, each having an area of 32 m2 and an average net enclosure height of 3 m from the soil surface. The three different pens constructed (existing design: canal only, 43% excavation by area, and 54% excavation by area) were designated as T1, T2, and T3, respectively. The water quality parameters recorded in the pens were favorable for the growth and recovery of the mud crab and milkfish, except for DO. For mud crab, the highest mean recovery was recorded in T2, followed by T3, and the lowest in T1. The production rate followed the same pattern as the recovery, with T2 having the highest, followed by T3, and T1 having the lowest. The statistical analysis revealed that the variations in mud crab recovery were not significant, while in terms of production rate, modified mangrove pens were found to be more effective than the existing design. Due to the total mortality of the cultured milkfish, the current set-up of modified mangrove pens was found to be unsuitable for the polyculture system of milkfish and mud crab production.","PeriodicalId":504826,"journal":{"name":"Diversitas Journal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139789052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo relatar uma experiência referente a realização do estágio supervisionado II, visando observar e analisar a sua contribuição para a formação do professor de ciências. O estágio foi desenvolvido por acadêmica do curso de Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Estadual de Alagoas – UNEAL, em uma escola de ensino fundamental II localizada em Coité do Nóia – AL, onde o estágio foi realizado durante o período de março à maio do corrente ano, às segundas-feiras, em uma turma do 6° ano. A experiência do estágio supervisionado proporciona para o professor de ciências a oportunidade de analisar como é a vivência do professor em sala de aula e, além disso, torna possível a construção e elaboração das atividades docentes de maneira que sejam enriquecedoras tanto para os alunos quanto para o professor. O estágio curricular supervisionado II conduz o aluno estagiário a refletir e perceber que o professor deve ter uma visão ampla, compreendendo todas as situações vivenciadas em sala de aula, estando preparado para lidar com diversas particularidades, elaborando e utilizando instrumentos que facilitem a compreensão acerca dos conteúdos, despertando o interesse dos alunos. Sendo assim, a relevância deste componente curricular é indiscutível, pois visa a construção do profissional docente.","PeriodicalId":504826,"journal":{"name":"Diversitas Journal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140472461","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
