In this study, we have conducted systematically the zircon U-Pb chronology and zircon Hf isotopes, and genetic mineralogy of granite porphyry and granodiorite dikes in the Jiuling gold deposit. The results show that the emplacement ages of dikes are 128~130 Ma, and the magmatic materials of dikes were sourced mainly from the Archean crust and partly from the mantle. The morphological and typological characteristics of zircons indicate that the magmas of dikes in this area had undergone relatively long processes of differentiation and evolution, which are related to their high water contents. The evolution process of granite porphyry magma can be divided into three stages, and its","PeriodicalId":502214,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry","volume":"77 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139638791","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Several porphyry and skarn-type deposits have been newly discovered in this region, indicating the significant epithermal ore-forming potential in the deep subsurface of the area. However, the traditional mineral exploration methods currently being carried out have limited capabilities for exploring deep-seated concealed ore deposits within the area, which hinders further mineral discoveries. In recent years, three-dimensional ore prediction has emerged as a crucial tool for predicting concealed ore deposits in the deep subsurface. However, the lack of three-dimensional predictive information remains a bottleneck restricting its forecasting capabilities.Current research indicates that three-dimensional numerical simulation methods of ore-forming processes can offer new three-dimensional predictive information for mineralization prediction. However, the application of multi-variable numerical simulation information and its support for three-dimensional mineral prospectivity modeling require further research.
