Nurses have a great responsibility in providing health care to clients, which often involves emotional, complex, and high-risk situations. Social support is emotional, informational and practical assistance provided by individuals or groups to others in certain situations. Burnout syndrome is a chronic stress condition that affects many individuals including nurses. This condition often arises as a result of excessive workload, high physical and emotional demands and imbalance between work and personal life plus the occurrence of a global pandemic.

With a focus on the philosophy of nursing science, the study is a literature review that follows the PRISMA (2017-2023) guidelines with keyword searches for "discharge planning," "stroke," "patients," and "RCT" in Scopus, Science Direct, and ProQuest databases. Of the 281 articles identified, the inclusion criteria involved quantitative research design, publications in English, studies in adult patients with strokes, intervention discharge planning, and analysis supporting discharge planning in stroke patients. The selection process uses the Rayyan application and selects 22 relevant studies. The analysis was done with PICO synthesis and grouping based on the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Review. Methodological quality assessment using the Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Assessment tool shows that a multidisciplinary approach through ontological, epistemological, and axiological studies provides a strong foundation for improving clinical practice and health information systems. Close collaboration between care teams, patients, and families in discharge planning is emphasized for optimal treatment of stroke patients and the development of efficient health information systems. The practical implications of this research include integrating ontological concepts, deep understanding of knowledge, applying ethical values, and improving discharge planning processes to improve care for stroke patients.

One method of managing blood pressure is through adopting a healthy lifestyle and implementing blood pressure control measures, with or without the use of medication. The objective of the review paper is to elucidate the impact of mindfulness therapies on both blood pressure and stress levels in individuals diagnosed with hypertension. Method:\u0000The research approach employed is literature observation, wherein relevant papers published between January 2019 and December 2023 are sought by conducting searches in four databases: Scopus and Science Direct. The search criteria include publications written in English, available in open access, and with full text. The study investigates the impact of mindfulness therapies on blood pressure and stress levels in individuals with hypertension, using Proquest and CINAHL as research databases\u0000Results: A total of 14 papers have undergone evaluation. The primary emphasis lies in mindfulness techniques aimed at lowering blood pressure and alleviating stress. A mindfulness intervention was administered in group settings, with a duration of 2 hours per week for a period of 8 weeks. Subsequently, participants engage in physical activity inside the confines of their own homes, dedicating a minimum of 45 minutes per day for a duration of 6 to 10 days per week. They also monitor their blood pressure and stress levels. Blood pressure measurements are derived from the mean of three measurements done thrice day. Following the implementation of the mindfulness intervention, there was a notable reduction in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure among the intervention group, as compared to the first measurement. The investigation revealed substantial disparities between the experimental and control groups in the mean scores of positive stress (P = 0.001) and negative stress (P = 0.001).\u0000Conclusion: Mindfulness can be a straightforward and cost-effective method for enhancing blood pressure and reducing stress. Surgery is recognized as a risk factor contributing to the onset of pressure injuries, which can manifest shortly after the operation, within a few hours, or up to 72 hours post-surgery. Bibliometric analysis has been carried out to assess publication patterns, rank research studies, and uncover emerging themes in perioperative pressure injury research. Method Data covering the period from 2015 to 2023 were extracted through the indexing metadata of Scopus and CINAHL using the keywords "pressure injury" OR "pressure ulcer" AND "perioperative." Bibliometric parameters were extracted, and VOSviewer was employed to obtain bibliometric network and overlay visualization results. Result The mapping and clustering results from the VOSviewer network and overlay visualization identified various factors, including risk factors, postoperative complications, Electronic Health Record (EHR), prediction models, perioperative leadership, perioperative hypotension, responsibility, skin lesions, positioning, infection, risk assessment, attitude, peripheral nerve injury, and interface injury. Conclusion The outcomes of mapping, clustering, ranking, and citation analysis of pressure injury in perioperative patients indicate that patient safety is the primary focus. From this main issue, indicators can be developed and transformed into variables that need analysis related to risk assessment, knowledge and attitude, policies, and referrals. However, there were medical institutions with low participation and where services were not provided. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the progress of, satisfaction with, and needs of nurses’ regarding a pilot program for home care of cancer patients with a stoma. Data were collected through a survey administered to nurses from November 13, 2022, to January 19, 2023; a total of 207 nurses responded. After excluding non-answers, 196 nurses were included in the final study population. The questionnaire sought information on the characteristics of the respondent, status of management of stoma patients, status of the home-care pilot program, satisfaction with the program, and needs of the nurses. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. A total of 196 nurses participated in the survey, of whom 42 nurses (21.4%) participated in the home-care pilot program. Thirty-five nurses (85.4 %) were satisfied with the home-care pilot program. Thirty nurses (71.4%) reported that implementation of home care had to be expanded and standards of care improved. To vitalize and expand the pilot program for home care for cancer patients with a stoma, better medical services must be provided by improving the medical fee standard. This will enable more patients and medical institutions to participate in the pilot program.

Demographic data, including age, gender, height, weight, exercise habits, staying-up-late habits, smoking history, education level, mental status, working posture, menstrual pain, and other basic information were collected, and the number of interns experiencing low back pain in the past 1 month and 3 months was recorded to investigate the incidence of low back pain among nursing students. Relevant risk factors were also analyzed.\u0000Results: The incidence of low back pain among nursing students was 19.2% within 1 month and 25.6% within 3 months. Factors such as gender, age, height, weight, smoking history, exercise habits, staying-up-late habits, education level, mental status, working posture correctness, and menstrual pain showed no statistical significance between the pain and non-pain groups (P > 0.05), while BMI and exercise habits showed statistical differences between the two groups (P < 0.05). BMI (OR = 1.530; 95% confidence interval = 1.16 - 2.02; P = 0.003) was identified as a risk factor for low back pain. Exercise habits (OR = 0.232; 95% confidence interval = 0.07 - 0.81; P = 0.022) were identified as protective factors for low back pain.\u0000Conclusion: The incidence of low back pain among nursing students remains relatively high, and low back pain is associated with high BMI and lack of exercise. It is one of the most immediate devastating consequences of rape and remains poorly understood. While controversies over its definition persist among researchers, this also reflects the care for and support to victims. The study aimed to explore and describe the onset of TI and the meaning attached to the experience among women raped victims in Nigeria. The study design was the qualitative narrative inquiry approach. Criterion and purposive sampling were conducted across four post-rape care facilities in Lagos, Nigeria, to recruit 13 participants. In-depth face-to-face interviews were conducted using a semi-structured interview guide to generate data that were thematically analysed. The findings of the study reveal five themes relating to the onset of TI as follows: the first two focused on the experience of TI: (1) the onset of TI prior to rape due to perceived imminent danger, (2) the onset of TI as a self-protection mechanism from further harm) while the last three relate to the meaning-making of the experience of TI (3) self-loathing as a meaning attached to TI, (4) suicidal ideations as a meaning attached to TI, and (5) divine intervention as a meaning attached to TI.\u0000Conclusion: The findings underscore the experiences and meanings that participants attach to TI following rape. There is a strong likelihood that tonic-immobility is not an uncommon experience for rape victims, but that in the absence of research, specialized care on the condition, and considering its associated consequences will haunt many women, affect their psychological well-being and their entire quality of life. Describing the phenomenon as it is experienced by the participants is critical because understanding the situation is the first step toward effective appropriate management.
