The study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how parenting styles can contribute to the risk or resilience of individuals towards eating disorders. Through an extensive review of existing literature, the findings of this research indicate that parenting styles significantly impact the occurrence and severity of eating disorders. The authoritative parenting style, characterised by high levels of warmth, support, and reasonable control, emerges as a protective factor against the development of eating disorders. Individuals raised in authoritative households tend to exhibit lower levels of disordered eating behaviours, higher self-esteem, and a healthier body image perception. Conversely, the authoritarian parenting style, characterised by strict rules, high expectations, and low warmth, is associated with an increased risk of developing eating disorders. Individuals raised in authoritarian households are more likely to display higher levels of disordered eating patterns, experience greater body dissatisfaction, and struggle with low self-esteem. Similarly, the permissive parenting style, characterised by low control and few rules, is also linked to a higher risk of eating disorders. Individuals raised in permissive households tend to demonstrate higher levels of impulsivity, reduced self-control, and increased vulnerability to societal pressures regarding body image. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of parenting styles in shaping individuals' vulnerability to eating disorders. The findings underscore the importance of promoting authoritative parenting practices to reduce the risk of eating disorders and emphasise the need for parental education programs and interventions. Such interventions can","PeriodicalId":500023,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science and economic research","volume":"118 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135650275","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The importance of including social networking sites (SNSs) in everyday life transactions cannot be overstated in the modern world, as more and more retailers utilize social media to attract teens and young adults. In order to understand the factors that affect the amount of adoption of SNS by Indian customers, multiple extended TAM variables have been investigated for their effects. Perceptions of utility had positive and significant advantages, whereas perceptions of risk had an adverse effect. Digital marketing is quite popular, and in today's fiercely competitive market, it involves investigating business models that make use of digital technology to save costs and grow operations internationally. Customers are happier while purchasing online and believe that digital marketing is safer than conventional marketing, digital marketing has a stronger chance of growing its business in the future. Digital marketing gives customers the chance to look at the details of the products offered by the business and make comparisons as necessary, allowing them to exercise their right of choice and submit orders whenever they want, anywhere, and 24 hours a day. Consumer behavior is the study of people, groups, or organizations, along with all the actions related to the acquisition, consumption, and disposal of products and services, as well as how the consumer's feelings, attitudes, and preferences influence their purchasing decisions. Consumer behavior first developed as a separate marketing subdiscipline in the 1940s and 1950s, but it has since evolved into an interdisciplinary social science that incorporates aspects of sociology, psychology, and social anthropology.","PeriodicalId":500023,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science and economic research","volume":"85 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135650268","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article constructs an evaluation index system for the development level of the digital economy from three dimensions: digital infrastructure construction, digital application development, and digital industrialization development. The vertical and horizontal leveling method was used to measure the level of digital economy development in 33 provinces and cities in China from 2013 to 2021. Analyze the influencing factors of China's digital economy development level using the spatiotemporal geographic weighted regression (GTWR) model. The results indicate that the development level of digital economy in various provinces and cities in China is uneven, showing obvious spatial agglomeration characteristics in the east, with a pattern of high in the east and low in the west. The penetration rate of mobile internet and the proportion of software business revenue to GDP have the greatest impact on the development level index of the digital economy. Suggest increasing the penetration rate of mobile internet and increasing software business revenue to promote the development of China's digital economy.","PeriodicalId":500023,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science and economic research","volume":"92 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135652486","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While the adoption of legislation on access to information has been widespread, there is a lack of conclusive research on the factors contributing to the success of FOI laws. The paper emphasizes that policies alone cannot guarantee success and examines various collective factors that influence implementation, such as policy objectives, resources, capacity of implementers, administrative culture, and inter-organizational coordination. It specifically focuses on the context of Bangladesh, where poor implementation is often attributed to factors like limited capacity, administrative culture characterized by poor governance, and lack of coordination. The paper highlights the importance of citizen engagement in effectively utilizing FOI laws, driving awareness, advocating for services, ensuring compliance, and holding public bodies accountable. The role of citizen involvement in the success of FOI laws in Bangladesh is emphasized throughout the paper.","PeriodicalId":500023,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science and economic research","volume":"2016 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135841175","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
