The study adopted the descriptive survey design and questionnaire was distributed to 50 users of the library that were selected for the study. The responses to the items in the questionnaire were analysed by means of relevant descriptive statistical tools. The results were further presented by means of tables and discussed. Based on the analysis, the study found that apart from reprographic services, the Prof. Festus Aghagbo Nwako Library renders significant reference services to users of the library. Several problems associated with the delivery and patronage of the reference services were identified and solutions proffered. Given the research outcome, this study recommended that the library should educate students and other users about the reference and information services that are available at the library and efforts should be made by the Librarians to routinely update available reference sources in the Library.

To reverse the situation, in Ghana, the police have been charged with the primary responsibility of maintaining domestic security. The emerging development in the country, however, has been the blame game between the police and the public in respect of the perceived failure in security governance for the citizenry. This study examined this blame game using Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District of Savannah Region as a case study. To be able to achieve the intended objective, 102 respondents were selected through both probability and non-probability sampling techniques in a convergent sequential mixed method design. Expert administered questionnaire and interviews were employed as the main methods of data collection. The study found that non-prosecution of criminals, bribery and corruption, police-criminal relationship, inadequate logistics and police personnel and stakeholders’ interference in security management, cumulatively were responsible for the low level of security administration in the study area. The study concluded that both the police and the public are responsible for the defective security architecture in the study community. Since crime impacts multiple facets of society in ways that the police and government may not be aware of until those interests are taken into consideration during project development and implementation, the study recommends a multi-sector collaboration involving the government, the police and the public to improve security governance in the area.

It adopts a purposive sampling technique. A total of one hundred and sixty copies of questionnaires retrieved from the respondents were used for the analysis. The study applied a multiple regression model technique to establish the effects of conflict management proxies on organizational productivity. Results revealed that with the inclusion of game theory as a conflict management variable, its contributions rose from 39.33% to 48.80%. In addition, the proxies of compromising and accommodating are statistically significant with the presence of game theory. Accordingly, the study concludes that game theory drives organizational productivity. It is therefore recommended that management should apply game theory to manage organizational conflicts.

The study employed secondary data retrieved from the published financial records of 12 consumer goods listed firms in Nigeria over a period of 10 years spanning 2012 to 2021. The paper adopted four independent variables as measures of firm attributes which includes firm size (FSIZE), board composition (BSIZE, profitability (PROF) and firm growth (FGROW). On the other hand, the dependent variable which is financial reporting quality was proxy using Modified Jones Model. The dataset were analyzed using the descriptive statistics, diagnostic tests and inferential statistics. The study specified a linear model which was tested using the simple regression analysis as a result of the nature of the study. The findings revealed that board composition and firm growth have significant impact on financial reporting quality of listed consumer goods firms in Nigeria. Again, firm size and profitability have insignificant relationship with financial reporting quality of listed consumer goods firms in Nigeria. The findings indicated that collectively the firm attributes measures examined in this study have significant association with financial reporting quality of listed consumer goods firms in Nigeria. Thus, the study recommended that listed consumer goods firms in Nigeria pay attention to the potential negative impact of firm size and board size on financial reporting quality. Companies should strive to establish effective internal controls, robust reporting mechanisms, and appropriate governance structures to mitigate the adverse effects of these factors.
